GA - Suspicion over heat death of Cooper, 22 mo., Cobb County, June 2014, #8

Two additional things (other than all of the horrifying details) that occurred to me during the hearing.

1) There doesn't appear to be much work getting done on the Home Depot web site for all the people working on it.

2) They really couldn't find anyone to say anything bad about this guy until today?? Really??

I'm shocked that NO ONE crawled out of the woodwork for their 15 minutes of fame. I'm sure they could have made some cash too. It's truly shocking.

I have got to hand it to LE....they gathered last of information quickly, but apparently had enough suspicion to nail him early on...just think...they could not have known about the sexting etc. at first glance.....that took searching. And don't you imagine HD is concerned that their employee was sexting all day instead of working,lol?

IMOO HD would have fired him quicker for that than the "accidental " leaving baby in car~~he sure didn't put in full day of work that day:moo:

About 8 years ago, a dad left his baby in the car at the beach. He was running into the Shorestop and saw a friend, got distracted and went into the restaurant next door to grab a bite to eat. He came out and discovered his baby dead in the carseat.

A friend of mine was there. She said the dad was so distraught, sobbing, trying to save his baby, imploring people to help his child. The State police came immediately and were really shaken up. The State police were actually trying to console and calm the dad down and they hesitated to put the cuffs on the dad, the dad was that disconsolate. This was an accident. A terrible tragedy. Not a RH situation...

Not me. The $2K was from Home Depot--probably a benefit and they got the other in 2012. $27K is nothing.

Actually Harris did put Cooper on the concrete to try to do CPR. This was said to LE by the witnesses that were there on scene.

Think about this.

Harris pulls Cooper out of the car. Places him on the concrete and "tried" to perform CPR. As soon as someone else tried to help, Harris walks to the OTHER SIDE of his car and makes phone calls. The other side of the car, away from Cooper.

Now, who in the world would think that this is a man that truly loved his son and that this was a complete accident? Never mind all of the other carp that was found out by LE later. He walked AWAY from his son to the OTHER SIDE of the car to make phone calls.

Yep, LE had Harris pegged correctly from the very beginning.

What promotions? We heard in court today that he was PASSED OVER for a promotion at work and was looking to find another job.

Harris lies. Period. End of story.

ETA: I read that wrong. Sorry. This case is getting the worst to come out in me like Caylee did. My best guess as to why no promotion? He was not doing his job, leaving early, coming in late and they may have had some clues about his texting/sexting while on the clock.

here we had all been led to believe that he was a stellar employee

today we find out he was irritated that he got passed over for a promotion in april of this year.

Except he did not do any CPR... he was "fiddling around" according to the witness who did perform CPR...

Plus talking on his phone. LE had to tell him numerous times to get off the phone and he swore at them. That's when they arrested him.

The detective said after the boy died, Mr Harris showed no emotion while being interviewed by investigators. At one point after Mr Harris pulled over with the dead child in a strip mall parking lot, an officer told Mr Harris to get off his mobile phone, Detective Stoddard said. Mr Harris twice refused, using profanity, and was then arrested.

According to my bil(he does a lot with home depot) the hours he put in that day was suspicions ~~guess employees generally live to work and work to live more or less

She would take him back in a heartbeat with open arms if he had been bonded out.

As I have read all the things she has said since losing her precious little son, I have come to the stark conclusion that she idolizes Ross to a point of an obsession.

She reminds me of these women who let bad evil men do very bad things to their children and then turns around and either partakes in the bad evil wicked acts themselves or they stick up for the man and denounces their own children.

Imo, she idolizes this horrid man so much that it is like Cooper never even existed. She loses her son but yet what does she want to do? Have another baby by this same man.:scared:

I don't care if she is normally an unemotional person. When a parent loses a child the unemotional wall comes tumbling down and true grief and despair is in its place.

Yet, neither one of them seems to care one whit that their precious beautiful little son died a horrible death. They seem to be like two peas in a pod to me.

Her entire demeanor throughout all of this is very telling. It is like when Cooper died she decided 'oh well, he is in Heaven now, and its time to move on.'

It is one of the strangest things I have ever seen a parent do who has lost a young child. It just doesn't pass the smell test. No one can be that cold and unfeeling if they really deeply loved their child as both pretend they do.

Now to her its all about Ross, Ross, Ross. GAG!!!!!

The sexting doesn't matter to her. She will take him back any day of the week if she could. Her whole world seems to be centered around Ross and that is the only person she cares about.

I am way. behind - just on page 15 in the thread on the hearing.

Am currently dumb struck on what is going on with these parents! Dad saying " he dreaded how he would look". What parent would EVER give that a thought if this was not a planned murder! And what is mom's question to dad "did you say too much"?

This sounds well planned and thought out! But why?? I may have to skip to the end to find out the results and then backtrack. This case is breaking my heart! Such cruelty to a child!
