South Fulton police say missing woman has been suffering from schizophrenic episode for a month

Her father told police that she has not taken her prescribed medication in over a year and has been having these episodes periodically.

South Fulton police are looking for a missing, endangered woman.

Police say Sydney Elaine Combs, 31, has been diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia and is currently experiencing a manic episode that has lasted for more than a month.

Combs is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray crew neck, black yoga pants and black and purple sneakers.

The South Fulton Police Department said a woman missing for a week was found late Monday evening in a wooded area.

The family told FOX 5 they believe she was found in a wooded area near the subdivision.

We know that she is alive, but police have not released her condition or exactly where she was found.
