Concernedperson: have you tried to contact the FBI about this fire? I too am feeling the fire was deliberate to cover up Tara's disappearance and feel that LE did not do what should have been done in the investigation of that fire.

I suggest that LE pay for that MH to be moved off of that land and the ground dug up and investigated properly. Of course I do know that most of the crucial evidence is probably already gone, but there may be something left covered in the ground that says Tara was indeed there.

If you remember there was sightings of his pick up truck around the areas of his mother's home. I believe he was scouting a place to put the remains. I believe they used ML's vehicle to transport the body as Marcus's vehicle would be the obvious one to search not ML's. That to me is the good reason to burn ML's vehicle up. Also, ML was said to be in financial difficulty so a rumor could be floated that he did this because of a bankruptcy proceeding.

I believe the family has contacted the FBI but of course I can't be sure. I also believe they are reading here and other places.

There would still be remains somewhere. And they can be identified by DNA. Just need to find them. Someone needs to tail Marcus and his troops constantly.

A searcher who is a reticent poster on another forum finally said that Harper was driving crazy while they searched in an area across from his mother's home. People are starting to speak out now as they realize that others are watching and reporting. And, of course, I wouldn't go anywhere near s. Georgia as I am sure I am persona non grata in the area. LOL!.

Yes, I have just read that MH was driving crazy last weekend while searchers were out. That alone tells me he was trying his best to distract and scare off searchers because they MIGHT find exactly what they are looking for.

I am also thinking that maybe Tara's things is on that land next door to MH and they haven't been found yet, of course other than what we have been told so far. I have not heard if ALL of that had been searched due to the hold up from the sheriff trying to stop the searchers. It would make sense to me for MH to hide Tara's things there thinking that LE and any people involved in finding her, would never even think he would do such a thing so close to his home. Then later on if something was indeed found, MH could always yell that he was set up by someone.

Now you are thinking like a PI. And in fact, lingerie was found. Was it Tara's? We won't know forever. Or until it goes to trial. But this last weekend when all hell broke loose and the different camp's were spouting polar opposites tells me a lot. I will stick with Tara's family. If GBI doesn't pull their weight and get to the bottem of this soon....I don't know. Maybe I will make an appointment with Sonny Perdue. Like he would see me...LOL! If my frustration level is so high can you even imagine what the family is feeling?

Can you clarify the lingerie thing that was said. the way I read the article, it sounded like to me that it was found 1/4 of a mile north of Ocilla. I wonder if they meant to say 1/4 of a mile north of green Road.

About Sonny Perdue; perhaps we could possibly e-mail his office with our concerns and maybe he will take a good look at it and get higher authority involved?

The lingerie was found on the sites searching around Harper's mothers property and Betty Mixon's. The coordinates I don't know. Do you know where Betty Mixon's property is exactly?

As far as Sonny Perdue, I think that is a good idea.

I don't know where this property is. I want to go search there so bad, but I would not dare to as I know my life would be in danger.

I would love to know how long it would take for the GBI to process what the searchers found last weekend. I know sometimes it can take 2 weeks at the least, but I would like to think that maybe the searchers findings could possibly be made priority. I also hope that Dr. Godwin and the searchers have taken several pictures of what was found before it was turned over to the GBI.

Here is a link that we can send messages to Sonny Perdue.

The governor's office appreciates my email. However, they said not to respond to them.LOL! They did give me a number to call if I felt it was urgent. I will think about this before I call them. I still like the FBI or the US Marshall's Service.

Please don't misinterpret this as support for MH, because I think he's the culprit.

The search and sheriff's involvement is controversial. There is a neutral (at least not a MH family member) witness who stated the searchers were harassing MH's mother, i.e driving by several times, yelling, etc. Apparently, this is why she called the sheriff and why he decided to protect the H property. The searchers stated they were not doing this, only using the road to get to the property to be searched. So, who's right? I was not there and have no idea what went on. I just wanted to post this for further info.

That is the battle. I have another searcher who says this is not true. I know that some who would search are scared now.I know I wouldn't be in Irwin County for nothing. Not only wouldn't they protect me but I would be accused of stalking. It is above our heads now. If only the right people would step up.

I have also heard from a couple of searchers and they are saying that nobody in their party was harassing MH or his mom. They were focused on the areas they were searching. Infact, one of the searchers was so focused that he/she did not notice the man walking down the road with the rifle/gun.

Another things that makes me mad. It was reported that the searchers heard over 100 shots of gun fire. Why on earth didn't the sheriff track down whom was doing that and make them stop at least until the searchers completed their task? I know living in the county, you are allowed to shoot guns. I don't care for that little rule, but it is allowed.

It has been discovered that the Crime Library article dated 12/20/05 said the following:

Anyone having information about the individual(s) responsible for Tara's disappearance should contact 229-468-7459 and speak to one of the following law enforcement officials:
Sheriff Donnie Youghn
Captain Nelson Paulk
Deputy Allen MorganIf one of the above named officials is not in when you call, please tell the dispatcher that you are calling about Tara and the dispatcher will contact him for you.

I had already been on the Ocilla Police website and have discovered that the number to that police station is the same number that is listed to contact GBI officer Dominic Turner.

What is going on?

Good question. Maybe someone in GBI could better answer that question for you in light of the current controversy.

Except the GBI does not respond to individuals. This is stated on their web site.

True, but if it needs to be brought to their attention and somone did just that then things might begin to move even if they did not respond directly.

In any case it was just a thought and not worth upsetting anyone over.

I think it needs to be brought to their attention. I am thinking this may be the perfect reason why all of these tips were called in and never followed up on as reported.

www.findtara.com

"Tara was attacked and abducted between 11:05 PM Sat. night and 5:00 AM Sunday morning. The killer returned to Tara's home sometime Monday morning after 12:15 am and dropped the latex glove. This suggests that the killer was very comfortable with being in the area and his vehicle would not stand out for being at Tara's house. HD did phone Faye Grinstead around 12:15 am Monday morning sitting in front of Tara's home and Faye in turn phoned Mrs. Portier to see if she had seen Tara."

The only thing I am sure of is that Tara is missing the next thing I am pretty sure of is there is a coverup.I find this to be akin to Aruba and their despicable handling of Natalee's case.I would hope that the State of Georgia is more capable than the crap going on in Irwin County. I would hope that they have called in the FBI.
