"Tara was attacked and abducted between 11:05 PM Sat. night and 5:00 AM Sunday morning. The killer returned to Tara's home sometime Monday morning after 12:15 am and dropped the latex glove. This suggests that the killer was very comfortable with being in the area and his vehicle would not stand out for being at Tara's house. HD did phone Faye Grinstead around 12:15 am Monday morning sitting in front of Tara's home and Faye in turn phoned Mrs. Portier to see if she had seen Tara."

Dykes was in Ocilla at Tara's house at 12:15 am on Monday. They had to already think something was wrong. Dykes had to walk around and not see any glove at that time. Hence, the glove was placed between 12:15 am and the time Joe Portier came over Monday morning around 8:20 am or so. Dykes had to leave for Tara's house (Ocilla) around 11pm or earlier if he was in Ocilla at 12:15 am.

Do you believe that Dykes is responsible or he thought something was terribly wrong?I find his 20 phone calls to her indicates extreme worry not a killer who would want his calls traced. He/Anyone could have missed a glove in the cover of darkness. I am not going anywhere other than he may have been having an affair with her and she shared with him a lot of worry. Give me more.

I am slow on the uptake.He could be covering his butt every step of the way. He is friends with Dominic Turner and all that. He is friends with the family...and he could be a killer.Now, is he friends with Michael Lankford?

This statement in no way implicates Dykes; quite the contrary. I don't know what to make of it. Dr. Godwin is working with the Gattis family and they are close to Dykes. I don't know how he could see or not see this glove at midnight. Maybe this will develop more in the days ahead. But it does put Dykes at her house, in her yard, etc. for certain now - no more speculating.

Or hopefully just a friend of Tara's that is a teacher or a student.
What night was it that she went missing?The night of the party on saturday or sunday???I have seen different days as the exact day.Lot of info to sift through.

I was with Tara Grinstead the night she went missing so I know what your going through!

I have a huge problem with MH saying he left the bar around 1:30 pm on the 22 nd. In the 5 towns surrounding my area, bars are required to close at midnight. Could it possibly be that MH purposely went to that bar, bought drinks over and over to get his friends drunk, mentioned to them that it was 1:30 when in fact it was not, he left knowing his friends THOUGHT it was 1:30, went to Tara's and then caused her demise? Then to establish his alibi for the rest of the night, he went to the Ocilla Police station to find SF and did ride around with him all night?

Then he could have returned to Tara's house after HD left around 12:15am Monday morning to return the cell phone to it's charger and cover up anything else that he might have missed the night before and then dropping the latex glove on his way out of her house?

Tara was helping out at a beauty pageant on Saturday 10-22-05. She arrived home later after a Barbeque at some friend's home. She was with several people and talked on her phone until prox 11 PM Saturday night. After that time no one has heard from her again.

I can verify that bars stay open past midnight on Saturday nights, unless a local ordinance/law prohibits it. The one in question does not close at midnight on Saturdays. Many close at 3:00 am (or have to stop serving alcohol at a certain time but remain open).

Ok, I wasn't sure what time bars closed in Fitzgerald on Saturday nights. I did call a couple of stores that sells beer and wine and was told they have to stop selling at 11:45 on Saturday nights. I also asked those same stores what time the bars close there and I was told at midnight.

The bars may have a midnight curfew on pouring alcohol, but most of them don't get "good and going" til 11:30 pm or midnight. I think it has been verified that he was there at least until 1:00 am by others at the bar (not just his friends and family with him). As far as when he got to Ocilla, where he went, with whom, etc.... all of that I believe is still subject to interpretation and belief of his story (which I personally doubt).

Thanks for clarifying this. I, like you do not believe his story after he left the bar. I believe that yes he did hook up with SF at some point that night, but only after he did away with Tara so he would hopefully have an alibi. I also believe he is the one that went back after 12:15am on Monday morning to try and get rid of any evidence and dropped the latex glove on his way out.

Dr. Maurice Godwin received a death threat at 1:40 a.m. this morning. The person on the phone said "You better back off or your're dead".

Anita received this info by email from Dr. Godwin. This is terribly scary for all involved. Somebody needs to be arrested. This group is out of control IMO.

This is really bad, but also proves to me that Dr. Godwin has hit the nail on the head and has Tara's MURDERER having to resort to more terrorism. I guess MH is trying to go for the death penalty for sure.

I would think this is going to happen. Remember Dr. Godwin lives in North Carolina and you can bet your booties that call originated in Georgia. So, it won't be local LE or GBI investigating (Thank God) it will be a higher authority. He is a well known profiler with lots of connections. And he is on to something......

If MH or any of his cronies made this call, which I would believe they did...I think they just may have done themselves in faster than what was normally going to happen.
