Found Deceased GA - Timothy Cunningham, 35, Chamblee, 12 Feb 2018 #2

Actually, if facing Tim’s home, the home on the left is not occupied by the couple who had the cell phone interaction. Unless I am badly mistaken. Not wanting to over share, but from what I could tell were def not that couple. Different demographics. I’ve been wrong before so apologies if so.
I am mistaken and the above post is incorrect. Please accept my apology for being wrong.

Can't figure out why doors locked, keys inside. All you need is a belt, really. I think he had a plan. He also could have met someone new, and left this life for another. Avoiding his sexuality will only lead to a brick, wall. Who was TC involved with? Did he have online SM accounts for dating sights? Secrecy is never a good thing when someone disappears.

There is a previous, still-public real estate listing for Tim’s house still available online. It gives some insight to the layout of his home, but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post it?

(arta, no worries. :))

I think it's ok but I alerted a mod to let us know.

While we’re waiting to possibly discuss the floor plan, I could imagine opening the windows in those two locations if I was having gastrointestinal issues — whether from illness or anxiety/stress. They may have needed airing out after being sick and cleaning up. I’m sorry if that’s gross to point out or too much speculation, but his parents said it was odd that any windows were left open. Just trying to think of why those.

Also, our master bath there had a separate WC, and that could be the small window next to the picture window in the GoogleEarth photo. Therefore, I think it could’ve been the one left open, and if so, I think we can all agree no one was getting into or out of that.

I was wondering why you were posting that you didn't live there, and then I glanced up to see your name!

Or he left the windows open to ventilate the area where he left his dog ? Sadly, this would especially apply if he knew he wasn't coming back to the house.

This is fine as long as you are certain it is the correct house. Please don't post pictures of the neighbors' houses, though.

Thanks, liltexans! The master is on the upper floor, so I do believe that picture window is the master bath. There is another nearby listing, which I will not post per the rules :), but it confirms this idea — as well as that the small window is a WC.

Also a good point! I bet both of those rooms have tile (or some other waterproof) flooring, so they’d be a good place to leave a dog unattended.

There sure is a lot of thick brush and trees behind his house in picture #9. I know they searched the area but I fear he might be there in the heavy underbrush and they missed him.

Agreed -- it's very dense and overgrown, and I thought it was interesting for our purposes that it was included in the listing. (I know why they showed it, though; most houses in the neighborhood have zero or minimal yard.) If you look at a satellite image, it connects to the Whetstone Creek Trail I mentioned before.

Even if we assume TC went somewhere on foot, it does seem like a very complicated area to search, what with the wooded areas, the trails, the water plant, the highways, and the railroad tracks. There are also various other places including the Bolton Academy, restaurants, industrial facilities, businesses, boarded up buildings, etc. I notice that the Atlanta Mission -- I think it's just the administrative offices -- is on Bolton Road.

It might be useful to know where TC habitually went in the area, whether jogging or walking.

Picture #6 is also interesting to me as it shows how close the neighbor's porch is to Tim's porch. It looks like Tim could easily talk to them from his porch while there were on theirs. I wonder if perhaps that is why the conversation about the phone happened-- maybe the neighbor just happened to be on the porch at the same time as Tim. Before seeing this I was thinking the tree might be in the way and that the garage and upstairs windows would be the only ones facing their house.

You're right about the Mission. There's also a highrise senior living facility (City of Atlanta) and a youth center on the other side of the woods, fronting on Marietta and Bolton, respectively. Besides that, there's a newer gas station. I think it was already mentioned way upthread, but I hope security footage was reviewed from there as it is on the corner and in front of a bus stop.

I feel like I saw an article early on where his family mentioned "particular routes" he jogged, so I'm guessing (hoping) that's where LE looked first.

I would put money on that possibility. :twocents: The GoogleEarth photo also covers the two windows in the family room (over the built-ins), but I think those are the only others facing the neighbors. Doesn't look like they open or would be easy to talk through even if they did. We do know that he also has a back deck close to their house.

Went back and listened to the police presser. A reporter asked if the exchange of words actually happened with the neighbors, and the officer said yes, it did happen.

How could they possibly confirm that words were spoken without having heard them in some way? Mere words are not even admissible in court. How is LE so sure this conversation actually happened?

Mere words are always admissible in court, when someone is under oath.
