MISSING PERSON

Timothy Mcsears age 65 has been missing since Thursday March 6, 2025 from his residence on Mcsears Dr Lafayette GA.

If you have any information on Mr. Mcsears whereabouts please contact Detective Brandon Barkley 706-670-1953 or email bbarkley@walkerso.com

It’s been two weeks since anyone has seen Tim McSears.

This has both the family and Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson alarmed.

A series of searches for Tim McSears so far has turned up very little.

Sheriff Wilson said, “What is suspicious to us in this case is that Mr. McSears’ vehicles remained at his house… Someone caused him to leave the residence without taking his vehicle.”

The sheriff also said that his medicine was left behind as well, which poses additional concerns as McSears is diabetic.

However, his cell phone and wallet are missing, but there have been no transactions from his bank accounts.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the missing person.

To Note:
was last seen on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Dunwoody Road

March 7 is the last time McSears' phone was used.

He was last seen at church. His vehicle was found at his home.
Curious how far he lives from the church?

UPDATE:
The Walker County Sheriff's Office says a fake post is circulating that a missing person has been found.

A social media post claiming that Timothy McSears has been found, but the sheriff's office says he has not been found.

It looks like he was expecting to come back home shortly after, if he took just his phone and wallet.
Where did he go and with whom? Another vehicle? Did LE use dogs to follow his scent ? Where was his phone used last on March 7 (ping)?
His car is at his house, but he was seen last at the Church. Did he drive back home, to leave again? Or did someone else bring his car back ?
Why would anyone want to hurt him? Any MH issues?
So many questions and no information
