While I hope she just took off for a while...I don’t buy it. If she did would she be responsible for costs of searching I wonder? I guess it would depend on mental health status.

In any case, it seems very unlikely to me.

Also wondering what is meant by her phone being “cut off” as I think police said.

BBM

THANKS FOR THE GREAT TIME LINE AND BULLET POINTS!!
It is very helpful :)

Oh dear-- we have all heard this story before.
Woke up and missing person is "poof" gone.
A Quarrel/ argument with the Last person that Missing person was with.

question--- was the house they were at, his house ??
Do we know how far away it is from her house ??

If it is quite a distance, then maybe the Wal-Mart meet up was a half way point and would make sense. Otherwise, it does not, at least to me.
Where could she have "poof" gone to without her car?

I wonder why she left abruptly but then possibly had 50 minutes waiting. Perhaps she was afraid of the man and he'd be angry if he had to wait on her.
He didn't mention to LE that they'd had an argument but how would anyone know they'd had an argument? Did she tell someone? That doesn't make sense to me.
I wonder why she didn't tell her daughter where she was going? Had there been a history of domestic violence or emotional abuse? On/off relationships aren't necessarily harmful. MOO

I'm suddenly very sad. Sometimes the reality of a situation just hits you, ykwim?

edited to add: Not that we know the outcome yet. But, that night did not go well for Tina, whatever happened. :(

No she would not be in any trouble criminal or civil at all. She didn't report herself kidnapped or missing. Nobody is in trouble at all. Now if somebody harmed her- they will be in trouble. If somebody reported her missing with her sitting in the room next to them, and she encouraged it, that may be a different story.

He woke up and she was just gone?

Ummm.

Why couldn't he have said on the phone, "Just wanted to hear your voice. Go enjoy your evening with your family."

I don't like where this is going.

  • #194
Oh no. This is not good news IMO.

She doesn't have a car but she just disappears in the middle of the night? OK.....o_O

  • #195
I was considering she called someone to come pick her up to take her back to her vehicle and thats when something went wrong. They're checking Phone records and will know soon enough.

  • #196
Anyone think when she went downstairs after the argument that she just left on foot and ran into trouble walking to her car? MOO
I don't think she would've walked to her car...at night, wearing flip flops (or anytime, tbh).

Wasn't her car miles away?

DNR, GBI searching Washington County pond in missing teacher case | 13wmaz.com

The Department of Natural resources searched a pond in connection with her disappearance on Thursday, but found nothing.

That's according to Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran, who says the search concluded "negative results." Cochran says the search was just precautionary.

LE stated the pond off of Highway 24 West is an area of interest and they were looking into it in order to rule it out.

Where is Tina Prince?

That’s a question local, state and federal law enforcement officials want answered.

The problem is no one seems to know. And if anyone does, they are keeping to themselves and not sharing it with anyone.

The sheriff said a lot of people have come directly to the sheriff’s office or called investigators on the phone to share certain information related to the case.

“We’re thankful we’re getting that sort of feedback from our community,” Cochran said. “We want to hear from anybody that might know anything that could possibly help us.”
