Found Deceased GA - Tosha Herron, 36, Lavonia, 6 Oct 2016

I live in the area and just find it hard to believe that her car goes over an embankment and by complete coincidence someone who is up to no good just happens to be driving by and swoops her up. If someone was driving by I think there is a better chance that it was a good samaritan.

Why are they convinced that she is no longer in the area?

If she were my loved one I would be more leaning to the idea that she was disoriented after the wreck and in the dark wandered off and is still there SOMEWHERE. Maybe not close to the accident scene but somewhere within walking distance. I would keep on searching that area.

Also, I just saw a post on Facebook that the guy that she was going to see has now relocated to Hilton Head. I wonder if that was already planned before the accident.

Anytime someone bolts from the area after possible criminal activity it raises a red flag.
If he was a suspect wouldn't he be told not to leave the area/state?
Her car was found wrecked, in a ravine with blood in the grass outside of the driver's side door??? She hasn't been located at any hospital?
So, she has to still be in the vacinity of her car somewhere.
Did her airbags deploy?
Blood was on the ground, but not inside the car? *it was inside too I see.
She was headed to a male's house but never made it.
She called friends stating she was lost at some point during the evening.
Blood Mountain - Has left a bad taste in my mouth!!
I sure hope no stranger is going to come upon the scene of an accident with a bleeding woman and just take her and finish her off. I would think that a call to 911 would be made.
I missed how and when her car was found. *I found it, it was days later.
It sounds like a staged scene to me. I wonder if there were any skid or brake marks prior to the car exiting the roadway.
I imagine the computer in the car will be able to tell if there was breaking or acceleration prior to the impact.
This reminds me somewhat of
Charlene Baggett. She was missing for 8 weeks and her body was found in a ravine 150 yards off the road, still in her car.
I find that so sad! No one searched thoroughly . That area is known for cars going off the roadway too.

You're right it is like she couldn't decide what profile picture to use on fb. It looks like she is wearing different outfits so I don't think she took all those selfies that day.

Oh, I need to look more into the car. I guess I'm naive in just thinking this was a car accident. Good question on if the fire was from the accident or not.
I wonder about her cell phone signal. My phone has posted some things repeatedly when I was in a spotty area, but not changed the content of the post.
It didn't look like anyone was "tagging" her.
How could you do that while lost amd driving???
Lots of questions!

Where did you read that there was blood in the grass near the car? I thought the comment from her family was that there was not much blood so it indicated she had not been badly injured. If there was significant blood and she either crawled out or was thrown out of the car, I wonder if a wild animal could have dragged her away? But there should have been evidence of that, right? I just can't see how this could be a case of foul play. I've read too many cases here where the person was found a year or 2 years even after they found their wrecked car and they were in a place near the car that supposedly had been searched.

Just reading up on this case. So many things I'm thinking! But first, the selfie thing seemed very incessant. Constantly sharing photos she's already posted, updating profile and cover photos. It's like she was trying to blow up someone's fb feed or gather the attention of someone.
Or someone had hacked into her Facebook acct.

Lots of questions!

The constant fb posts were the night BEFORE she left for the road trip. She posted for 5 hours straight from around midnight until 5 AM the morning she went missing. I don't know if she slept during the day, or what, but she did not post again that day and at around 6 that day she was leaving her kids with her husband to go to Blue Ridge, GA.

Interesting. Her estranged husband noted on FB that "she never made it to the guys house who she was seeing." IMO, this gives the impression they were in a relationship, did you get the same sense from the man's FB? Any pics of him and Tosha? Just trying to discern if this was someone she knew or was just meeting.
That just makes no sense to me!

My first thought was that something happened after dropping the kids off. I know they had an argument. Maybe he followed her and when she stopped at Toccoa/lavonia to call her friend something bad happened. THat would explain the amount of time lost for the phone to ping again in Toccoa/lavonia. Or Maybe he "bumped" her car causing her to go off the mountain. I've been really curious how they found her car. I understand the phone ping showed She made it onto a certain road but that road is horrible. And if it was at night when they found her car how could they see off the cliffs? There's no street lights.
An argument while exchanging kids has resulted in lots of women going missing.
I specifically remember a woman who had just gone grocery shopping dropping her kids off with the estranged husband and her trunk was full of groceries. He had killed her in a fit of anger during an argument. I forgot her name, I want to say she was French.

Someone mentioned thst could be a way of sharing pics with someone you are not friends with on fb??

It is a mystery to me. As it seems her weekend begins and ends a mystery, for now.

You can share a photo externally... so I picked my goofy face, I can share it externally to 16 sites, and every friend I have on Facebook as well.

But it doesn't show up on my timeline, maybe it has to do with personal settings. I can't figure it out. Maybe someone can.

\_( ',' )_/ I dunno,
Cause I'm a dummy and read this wrong. My apologies.

"I had to get down on the ground beside the car thinking my daughter would be in the car," Reed says. "With the amount of blood we found in the car, we have reason to believe she survived the crash and made it out of the car."

Strange!
My phone sent a butt text today!
Only once, it still was weird that it went through.
This is what went through.

How did my pocket make a sentence with punctuation?

,😶☺😑☺ x😶 Where are you? 2 re ,☺,

That was a lot of profile picture changes, almost like someone was playing with her phone.
OR was she having some sort of memory problem and kept forgetting what she had just
done?

This is a mystery for sure.

I know of lots of cases where an estranged spouse dropped off kids, argued & didn't go missing. Wait. They wouldn't be cases. There is evidence she left the home alive after dropping off the kids. I doubt he chased her around with the kids in the car waiting for an opportunity to harm her. jmo

No, this sounds like an accident that she walked away from injured and has not been located.
IMO

That quote DOES make it sound like there was a lot of blood but this is a quote from her sister:
"They could find where she crawled out of the vehicle, so she survived the accident, and there wasn't a whole lot of blood and things in the vehicle."

So those two statements seem to conflict.

I thought the guy she was going to meet was someone new. Did the husband know this guy?

Maybe she had an older phone? Maybe someone had her password and did it just to mess with her?

Did they find her phone and purse? Sorry, I can't remember.

I thought he was someone she met online and had been seeing/dating but looking back at the news articles they only say "friend" and it sounds like he lives in Blue Ridge.

If she was going to meet this guy for the first time and spend the weekend in his home in Blue Ridge that is pretty risky behavior, IMO. It's hard to tell exactly what her relationship was with him.

I don't think we were told if her purse and phone were in the car or not.

Do you have the link that the guy she was going to meet just moved to Hilton Head?

Why would she be interested in a "new" relationship with guy moving away. I don't think she would move away from her children to be with guy. Imho

ETA going to go back and read from the beginning. I need a refresher and sleep.
