Identified! GA - Towns Co., Skeletal remains found, Jan'12 - Herman Lee

The skull, along with some other bones, were found by hunters, and were located near the Towns/White County line.

The remains are suspected to have been in the area for several months.

HIAWASSEE - Towns County authorities are hoping they'll find out this week the identity of human remains found on the south end of the county just over a week ago.

The investigative efforts of Towns County Sheriff’s Office, GBI Region 8, in cooperation with GBI Medical Examiner’s Office, has determined through dental records and other means the identity of the human remains found last month in the southern part of the Towns County. The deceased is Herman William Lee, 62, from Asheville, North Carolina
