GA - Twin brothers miss flight to Boston, found dead 24 hours later in Georgia mountains, 14 Mar 2025

  • #541
Is GBI fingerprinting their car? Seems to me that someone needed to get to Bell Mountain and forced these boys to take them. Or maybe it was someone they knew who asked for a ride? Maybe this person could walk home from Bell Mountain.

after 8 am ? makes sense, How else would that car get past the gates between the times it should have been closed? is the gate info reliable?
Until we see something verified by the GBI, I’m not convinced we should rely on it actually happening. Too many variables could occur within a deputies shift that could have prevented it from happening.

In regards to cameras, I was able to find this old article about prohibiting painting on Bell mountain, and the installation and monitoring of cameras, not sure if they are still operating? Painting now prohibited on Bell Mountain - Towns

I’m sure this was gone over, but it says “their car” was found inside the gates at Bell Mountain. Where was that car before they took it at whatever point? They took an Uber to the airport, and if the family thought they made the flight wouldn’t they wonder where the missing car was? I’m sure I’m missing something if someone can help clear it up for me!
Right and why the Uber, if one was flying out ,was there a different uber to take them from the airport ? Weird all the way around.

Final Call exclusive interview with family members of Qaadir and Naazir...

April 14, 2025

‘There are so many unanswered questions about this whole situation’ Family...

March 31, 2025

Is it just me, or are we getting different facts depending on which family members are being interviewed? Dad/Step Mom vs. Aunts? I thought in the links above, the paternal side of the family who were interviewed - said only Naazir was flying to Boston?

JMO, I think the Aunts are the maternal side of the family.

New Information
  • Visiting "friends" in Boston.
  • Twins car was found INSIDE the gates at Bell Mountain. Gates close at dusk, re-open at 8:00 AM. Twins seen on video at gas station in Lawrenceville the previous night at 10:30 PM. I

Weren't the twins at the BRAWNER Aunt's home watching movies the same night they are seen at the gas station? In the video interview, why didn't she say what time the boys left, vs. what time they were seen on video? So friggin confusing! The timeline is a moving target, so are the facts for that matter.

One thing I noted - Cody does not say the GBI verified that the gates were opened or closed as scheduled. Only where the car was found, so I'm taking that one with a grain of salt.

Gosh, this is becoming frustrating.
Unless there was updated information I missed (very possible) I thought they were at the sister/aunt's house watching movies on Thursday, March 6th. The night before the original flight.

  • Reposting this part of the article just to make it easier.
  • What time does the park close?
The park is open from approximately 8:00 am until end of daylight.

I understand there is a gate to prevent vehicular entrance outside of operating hours. Could you describe the gate and how it works? Does someone physically lock/unlock it, or is it automatic?

The gate is manually operated and inhibits vehicular traffic. The property could be accessed by foot or perhaps offroad vehicles when the gate is closed.
Have there been any past incidents of a vehicle driving through outside of operating hours, and what would happen if someone managed to get past the gate outside of operating hours?

The area is unsupervised. There are no utilities or other facilities onsite so no one would be aware of access either when the area is opened or closed. The Towns County Sheriff’s Department maintains a patrol schedule of the county and the road accessing the park would be part of the routine.
I don’t know the schedule, if any, for patrol of the road. The county is rural with many back country areas and all roads may not be covered during a shift based upon other law enforcement obligations.

That last paragraph didnt sound very good.

So, if I'm reading this correctly, there's no way of knowing if the gate is regularly locked at night.

Re: at the sister/aunt’s house…

This article says they were at “their sister’s house”
  • March 6: The twins were at their sister’s house in Chamblee, Ga., before heading back to their home in Lawrenceville, where they lived with their father and stepmom, according to the family’s interview with 11Alive, an Atlanta-based NBC affiliate.

That was clarified in a subsequent post.

They were at their sisters house watching movies Thursday night. The missed flight was Friday morning at 7 AM. They were later seen at a gas station Friday at 10:30 PM. Found dead Saturday morning at 11 AM on top of Bell Mountain.

Their step mom said she saw them at the home Friday night and said she went to bed. Does not know what time they left the home, nor is a last seen time specifically stated in the article quoting her.

There are earlier articles written by Cody Alcorn stating a time. Read back for details, it’s in a facebook post from his page.

So technically they could have died Saturday morning before 11A, it seems like?

i wonder how they got in the gate. did someone forget to lock it? person in charge of the gate there needs to be interviewed asap
May be closed by the sheriff’s patrol if there is no staff. If like most rural law enforcement, they may stretched thin and on Hawaiian time regarding locking gate.

1. Went in before the gate was closed Friday.
2. Went in after the gate was opened on Saturday.
3. The gate was never close/locked as it should have been.
🤷‍♂️

The lack of information on this case is maddening to me.
Do you think because the death occurred in an isolated place, not known to the family (even though it appears to be a M/S per preliminary statement from GBI), GBI is doing “due diligence” with forensic testing? Otherwise . . .?

If I was a loved one of the deceased I am sure waiting 5 or 6 months for a toxicology report would seem like an eternity. I have read many of the articles that searchers have discovered that do provide a small glimpse into their lives. I have not read any info involving their travel from Lawrenceville to Bald Mountain other than it was apparently by their car which was parked in a lot at Bald Mountain Park. Has there been any disclosure of spotting along this trip? This is not a great distance drive of approximately 90 miles. However it does encompass several turns and changes of highways. Several of which appear very rural and probably lightly traveled in the dark. I have not even read an approximate time of death. It is possible that they made the drive after sun up. If their time of death was shortly before they were discovered. Has it been disclosed if their car was in the lot before the bar gate, indicating arrival before sun up, or in the larger lot after the gate? I hope the family and investigators get satisfactory answers for their deaths. I hope time was spent early in the investigation to find video evidence of their trip. Many video captures are erased after a few days. IMO there has not been enough info disclosed to reasonably speculate on how or why these young brothers are deceased. Blessings for their family and friends.
The fact that GBI has obtained video of the brothers at a convenience store near their home at 10:30PM on March 7 is encouraging. Perhaps they have obtained or have at least looked for other video. I was hoping for investigators or family to be out contacting businesses for video review of areas their car probably passed. The reports that their car was in the lot behind the gate indicates their arrival after 8 AM most likely. This indicates the majority of their drive could have been during daylight hours. This makes it easier to believe they made this trip by themselves. IMO. How does the estimated time of deaths aligns with this early morning arrival?

Gosh, this is becoming frustrating.

Seems like there may be tension between their maternal relatives and their Dad’s side (including his spouse) based on this bullet point from Cody Alcorn (BBM):

“Boys were living with dad (not able to speak because of stroke) and their stepmom who the family said hasn't been able to provide a solid timeline of the last time she saw the twins.”

Honestly, I wonder if they might’ve been carjacked sometime after their stop for snacks at the gas station in Lawrenceville. However, this could only be possible if they had first stopped back at their home after missing their flight and picked up their car before heading out to the gas station. It is frustrating that even now, we aren’t clear whether or not the gas station footage shows that the boys were on foot, or if they were driving their own car, or if they hopped out of an Uber and then got back in after their purchase.

Were they found in the same clothes seen in the gas station video?

  • #559
Just to make things more confusing - they could’ve driven there late night / early morning and simply walked in on foot. Jumped the fence or something?

Supposedly their car was in the parking area at the top. (There are two parking areas at the top but the car was in one of them.) Unless the gate was left open/unlocked & they drove through after/before hours, how did their car get up there?

If they were alive at the gas station at 10:30 at night, near their home, then they supposedly wouldn't have been able to access the parking area at Ball Mountain until after 8am the following morning. (It would have taken 1.5 to 2 hours to drive to the mountain from the gas station where they were seen on video.)
