thanks for the headsup on this Doe, carfbuff. Judy's name is not on the exclusion list, I'll forward this namus ID to Det. Law. We're still awaiting the DNA comparison from Midtown Doe -- the longest rule out to date. Very frustrating.

* Distance: about 775 miles from Quinlan TX to Atlanta GA.

Carl, I definitely see a resemblence. Seems like a lot of her characterisitcs match up with the UID.

This looks like a very strong possibility. Yes, it's quite a distance to where the UID was found, but it's under 12 hours via I-20.

My heart goes out to Carey's sister and family, especially her children!

The distance is pretty significant, but there is something hinky about the weird call Carey's father received. I think Carey looks similar to the recon...but Carey had some distinctive injuries to her pelvis according to NAMUS--wondering if the pelvis on GA Jane was part of remains recovered.

Carey's car was also never recovered. Is there some type of LE reporting on abandoned cars that is kept in records that could be researched to narrow the scope? When a car is involved, typically it suggests an automobile accident (like down a ravine, body of water, etc) but the hinky phone call and other circumstances around Carey's disappearance do suggest foul play.

I already did post a message to her sister on the Facebook site. She replied that she doubted that this Jane Doe is her sister (because she doubts that Carey would have left the state of Texas), but she will ask authorities to check it out for sure once the DNA FRS kits are processed. She appreciates that we are looking.

About the mother's ring. It looks like it could be an older ring to me. I remember seeing styles like this when I was young-in the 70s and on in to the early 80s. I would suggest not letting this ring give anyone tunnel vision as to the fact the UID has children. If she is on the younger side of the age range this could very well be a ring that originally belonged to her mother, or even grandmother and was given to the UID at their passing.

Carl - You are correct, the dental comparison was to Paulette Webster (she was excluded).

As for Carey Mae Parker, I had already been in contact with Det. Gibson last month to discuss possible comparison. Nothing viable to compare to date.
