“Vanita “Vera” Richardson, 18, and her sister-like friend, Clarice Truvenia “Bean” Campbell, 30, were found Wednesday underneath the East Rome Bypass bridge over the Etowah River by workers near Grizzard Park.”

Sister-like friend? So they’re friends not stepsisters?

“She last saw her daughter Tuesday night before she went out, presumably with Campbell.

“She pulled out of the yard and I said, ‘You better make it back in tonight.’”

Presumably with Campbell? Did the car belong to Vera and she went to pick up Truvenia?

Better back it back in tonight? With everything closed and on lockdown - where the heck would they be going and why let her go out?

I have found two separate addresses but is there any reason they would live together being step sisters and one of them being 30 years old. Edit: Even less reason for them to live together if they’re just ‘play sisters’

Oh. I misunderstood, I thought the younger one was still in high school - for some reason I had in my mind she was 17.
(I need new glasses!)
Georgia did ease some restrictions, you can get a haircut, manicure, browse a bit in Target with a face mask, sit on a bench and enjoy your Starbucks! No bars/clubs open yet.
Maybe she just wanted to get out of the house and visit with her friend.

I am thinking bags over the head was a torture killing or is that all the killer/killers had?
This upsets me such a horrific murder and disposal.

The 19-year-old was set to graduate from high school on Saturday. Face masks are not mandatory in Georgia. Many of us choose not to wear one.

Bags over the head usually means the victims knew their killer(s). Law enforcement believes there were two killers. Also, the women's clothes were torn. Maybe they were raped?

The GBI probably knows the car is in the metro Atlanta area because there are license plate readers all over Atlanta. Every cop car has a license plate reader.
