There seems to be some discrepancies as far as when he was last seen.

Have you seen Walter Wilson Akers?
Missing since August 2020 from Macon, Georgia.
Walter suffers from mental health issues. He has been know to stay in homeless shelters. Family has not heard from Walter since August of last year. They are very concerned more than anything they want to know Walter is okay.
Walter's left leg is Amputated from the knee down. Please be Walter's families eyes.

Scares: 2 inch scar on back of neck.

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) -- The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a missing man.

They state that 47-year-old Walter Wilson Akers was last in touch with his family more than a year ago, in February 2021.

Akers does not have permanent residence and is known to spend time in the downtown Macon area.
