A retired detective has told the ABC police feared a healthcare murderer could have been a serial killer after they searched his bedroom and found stolen medical items and a collection of death notices.

Garry Davis murdered two people and attempted to murder a third by injecting them with lethal doses of insulin at Summitcare Wallsend aged care facility in Newcastle in 2013.

In my opinion, by any metric that matters, he IS a serial killer. He has three known victims. The fact that one of them survived shouldn't give him a pass from that label.
