I loved Gary Collins when I was growing up.....RIP Gary....


Legendary TV actor and host, Gary Collins, passed away early this morning in Biloxi, Miss., at the age of 74.

Harrison County Deputy Coroner Brian Switzer tells TMZ that Collins died of natural causes just before 1:00 a.m. at Biloxi Regional Medical Center.

Spent about a week with Gary Collins in London 1974, when he and my best friend co-hosted the Miss World Pageant.

Always a gentleman, he was a reserved type without much animation in his personality. I was so sorry to read in years later that he struggled with alcoholism. Didn't know his wife had left him a year ago, presumably for that very reason. Saddening.

74 is not old enough to die of natural causes, imo.

May he rest in peace, and his family find their peace after his passing.
