Or for her little girls to accidentally consume!

Yes indeed! I have medication that i like to keep handy, and it certainly isn't on the dashboard of my car. It's in my handbag, my bathroom cabinet and occasionally on my bedside table. And if i had small children in the house as Allison did, I would be much more circumspect.

Hieveryone.. This is my second post on here but Ive been reading since 2012... Thanks for all your posts, they always get me thinking...

i'm still tring to keep an open mind regarding what happened. A couple of things I'd like to share.
Firstly I believe the BC's knew ABC was deceased when they called the police on the morn of the 19th.
I've been comparing their reaction to my own, my teenage son went missing for a few hours some months back.
As its quite out of his character I started panicking when he was about an hour overdue.. the first thing I did was call all his friends. When they all reported they hadnt seen him, I started pacing the driveway, confused thinking what do I do now as his phone was off. So I rang my parents and asked if they thought it was too early to call the police. I then called the police station, not "000" and asked if they thought it was too ealry to report my teenage son missing. They asked me a varietyof questions and said they'd sendsomeone over. My son came home shortly after and I couldnt hold myself I collapsed with relief and was balling my eyes out. The police arrived then and I could barely talk but thanked them and they lectured my son about not letting people know where he was.
It seems odd to me that GBC rang "000" wouldnt you ring the local stsation to seek advice for someone missing for such a short known period of time?
The other thing that Ive been wondering lately is the possibility that GBC may not have murdered ABC but disposed of the body?
This is pure speculation but what if ABC had enough of the lies and disgusting treatment and took her own life, o'd on zoloft. GBC finds her talks to NBC who tells him he cant claim life insurance if she killed herself so they dispose of her and make a plan to call the police and pretend she's missing etc?
The scratches on his face and marks on his body couold have been from OW or even NBC? I could imagine Bwana grabbing his jaw and digging the nails in, as he's snivelling away, telling him to toughen up and dispose of the body.
This could be why they keep bringing up her depression?
I also think they rushed the girls off to school that morning so they wouldnt say anything incriminating to the police, but collected them from school shortly after so they could 'debrief' them and to prevent them saying anything to a teacher or friend at school..
I really think the whole BC clan is involved somehow, whether GBC actually killed her or not.. they all have her blood on their hands.. So sad :( He has to go away for this it would be unbearable if he got off..

For some reason this paragraph of TM's has stuck in my mind. The line I've bolded seems odd to me...what's it to NBC whether an employee takes out life insurance policy or not.

Statement of witness - Toni McHugh

21. Gerard never discussed insurances with me. I was never aware of a liability insurance police for the business but every agency does have to have a public liability insurance policy. I am aware that Nigel was previously a life insurance salesman because Nigel told me that. Nigel also told me that he was a former game warden in Africa. Nigel never tried to sell me a life insurance policy but did recommend that I take out a life insurance policy

Well that is a lie....more like wishful thinking

Have Allison's movements at lunchtime and through the afternoon on the last day been established? Did she have an afternoon or a morning meeting that clashed with the crosscountry?

So sorry about your son ! I hope he took heed of the cop's advice.

Re the bold type....Nah not enough Zoloft was found in her system.
Ask the good Doc (DrWatson) about that.... and suicide has already been ruled out.

Welcome buzzing!

That's an interesting theory but i'm just not convinced she died from an overdose. Zoloft is not an easy drug to fatally overdose from. Correct me if I'm wrong but the experts last week clarified that she didn't have a fatal amount of Zoloft in her system when they did the autopsy? I could have misread this but I believe they said she had a normal or 'therapeutic' amount in her system.

People have been known to kill themselves as a result of taking Zoloft and the side effects agitated them so much that they ended their own lives (through methods other than medication overdose).

I definitely agree with you about GBC and co whipping the children off to school as soon as possible and also bringing them home as soon as possible. It seems a little strange to me.

For anyone who knows, the night of Allison's death, was Gerard's mobile phone plugged in to charge, or was that a mistake like the facetime call?

  • #708
I'm not sure if this question has been asked, did GBC mention whether Allison and he slept in the same bed? I noticed that one of the children said, 'mummy and daddy slept in the same bed.'
So are we to believe that GBC didn't know whether Allison was sleeping beside him that whole night? He awoke and she was not there? Or is his story she got up early and went for walk and killed herself?
I suppose I'm just trying to figure out what his 'story' is ahead of time. :scared:

Rewinding to above post from yesterday....

I realise the date of Allison's diary entry is December,2010...15 or so months before her murder.......but still....

December 17, 2012

"I would give anything if my partner would love me and make love to me," Allison wrote on December 8, 2010.

"It hurts when my partner won't give me a proper hug.

"Sometimes at night I feel lonely and cry.

"I feel the most lonely when my partner won't sleep in the same bed."

:wagon: buzzinjess

IMO, they keep bringing up Allison's depression to take the heat off themselves because maybe it was a murder, maybe disposal of body. *shrugs*

Great theory though, GBC would be counting on that insurance money and suicide would rule it out.

IMO, I think it's a safe bet that Allison scratched GBC's face either during an argument or when she was fighting for her life. :(

Welcome :)

Some good ideas....I don't think Allison would have ever committed suicide and left her girls though.

Also, most life insurance actually does cover suicide, just not in the first year usually.

Ummm a former game warden? I had to google that. But apparently game wardens have expert search and rescue skills as this is an important aspect of the job. Go figure? He wasn't much use now was he? BCs claimed they were told to leave it to the experts in the search, but NBC was an expert!

UGH the hide of the man! Who would think of giving a GP you have just met your Business card and offering your rather suspect services all while you are asking them to document some very suspicious injuries AND while your wife is missing? Business as usual indeed!

Having read over the autopsy report yet again (I don't like reading it at all!), I noticed that Allison's injuries as such were all on her left side.

Left anterior chest wall (site of possible haemorrhage): Direct quote autopsy report.

Left eye tooth.

Left shin.

It's as though something ploughed into her, or perhaps she was pushed and landed on her left side.

I realise that the autopsy report is inconclusive as to any discernible injuries and also cause of death but it still makes me wonder.

I've considered that previously, and I think there are two main possibilities (I'm not putting too much emphasis on the tooth - that chip could have been long-standing. Alex Forrest couldn't tell).

First, the left leg, possibly the left chest wall (although that was unable to be proved that it actually WAS an injury, and it was only 5cm (2") across, and the vague possibility of a tiny left sub-dural haematoma MAY have been as a result of the drop from the bridge into the mud/water.

The other thing to consider is that she was lying on her side (right side) so the asymmetry of any possible injuries MAY have been due to the fact that one side of her was getting wet on the high tides, while the other side wasn't.

To be honest, I really don't think that either the subdural or the chest wall "bruise" were significant. I'm allowed to say that because I'm not testifying as to the facts of an autopsy in court. Nathan Milne WAS - so he HAD to say that a lot of stuff "couldn't be ruled out".

But reading between the lines, especially that they couldn't confirm either the chest wall lesion or the subdural as being definite even under the microscope, I really think they were artifacts just documented by an incredibly thorough autopsy team.

I'm flat out working today, all day, and won't even be able to monitor the court case (what a bummer - I'll have to catch up tonight). Just in case anyone addresses any questions my way.

Don't assume I'm ignoring you - it's just that I won't get to read any of it until late tonight.

Ow went to the cross country with GBC didn't she, strange thing to do if you have had a headache strong enough to involve a hospital visit and the medication they would have given you to clear it up. When I have very severe migraines, it is hard to function for a day or so after. Certainly won't want to e standing in the sun with children noise in the background.

I am starting to wonder though why Allison didn't leave him?

I was in a bad marriage
It's not a simple matter 'leaving' someone
It's so so complicated
