Exactly Shane,the lawyers & family,friends who showed up got a chance to walk the scene even before the police got,right?

Good point we are making, Kelly. How can OP's defense make a big thing out of Botha's allegedly contaminating the crime scene when Oscar already had how many of his people over?
And obviously an innocent person would have called an ambulance--not family, frends, attorney etc.

Other thing I was thinking of..if he hit her on the head with the cricket bat & she bled,her blood would be on the bathroom door when he hit the door with the bat & that would prove he hit her before her getting in the bathroom,that would tear his story right apart ,but some wounds to the head don't bleed-like JonBenet Ramsey's wound did not bleed.

Do you think OP's attorney at the crime scene, or others, helped him concoct his whole intruder story to then tell the police?

Oscar first would have been in a rage when he was killing Reeva; then he migh thave been in a state of shock, fear, depression etc after his rage ended and he pondered what he had done. Not the best circumstanmces to try to concoct his "alibi.'

Do you think he had on scene coaching in concocting his tale. ANd is that legal--especially for an attorney to do?

I would not put it pass all of them *helping* OP.We are talking SA & after what happened with Botha-I do believe something went down before and after the police got there!-JMO

Which makes me wonder why we should go crazy about Botha walking through the crime scene. OP's family, the locksmith and his attorney were there first.

But what do you think will be the final adjudication?

1. Guilty of #6 murder--25 years to life
2. Lesser homicide 4-15 years
3. extenuating circumstances or mental impairment, circa 1-2 Years
4. innocent of everything

100% AGREE with all of the above ... him being out and about and free to make use of his bank accounts is a huuuuuuge worry.

Also isn't it interesting that his brother was only charged for a 2008 death now? Is there any reason for that?

I don't think the truth will come out and I don't think Reeva's family will see justice. Valuable lessons will not be learned, and things will not improve for women in SA.

Sorry to sound so pessimistic, but I think the writing is on the wall on this one.

I have mentioned this a few times somewhere among these pages...it has not been determined but think that at autopsy, they would have checked. If they did or didn't ,IMO, would be quite informative to the state of the relationship.
