I am not good at expressing myself on here, but I am going to try..I wonder why when he came off the balcony & heard the noise, then went over to her side of the bed to get gun,did not wake her up quietly, tell her there was someone in the bathroom and hand the gun to her so he could put his legs on and then both of them sneak out the bedroom door and go out the front door or even wake her up quietly & tell her to get out of the house & call the police. This is my problem with his story-he had plenty of time to do both.
He even said, saving Reeva was first on his mind. His story makes no sense!

Unbelievable..

Chewy, you did not read it completely lol I will highlight it

This has no bearing on this case as I am only answering the point that someone can flip and kill.

A guy has sex with his new girlfriend. Afterwards she tells him that she is HIV+
He is not well informed of the disease and kills her on the spot. He response was she killed me so I killed her. Just imagine someone has full blown AIDS and never tells you until afterwards.
A scenario like this one could understand why, I think he should have gotten tested first.

I guarantee that OP is thinking now, I wish I just walking away.

That was an example to show that a person can kill over something said or done to them.

There are witnesses saying that they were shouting from 2AM to 3AM
the question is what about.

I also wondered about sexual rejection by Reeva due to his drunkennes or she found out something about his sexuality.

I did read it, but it's so completely unrelated to this case that it makes no sense at all for you to bring it up. It's like someone saying "Well totally unrelated but maybe when he came back inside he found her in bed with another man and just snapped and killed them both and hid the body of the man."

Why bring it in, it's a really bad way of looking at the scenario because you are comparing a mental state that would make sense for rage to that degree to a person where it doesn't match at all.

He wasn't violent with her. Domestic violence escalates, it very rarely will start off with him shooting her four times. If he's roid raged out, then yes OK MAYBE that would make sense, but there's no evidence of this yet.

it seems many people are looking at the evidence with confirmation bias, only accepting the evidence that bolster's their belief and totally ignoring the evidence that challenges it.

Examples.

She didn't call anyone
She wasn't beaten or bruised
There was no evidence of a fight in the room
There is NO EVIDENCE of sexy text messages or evidence that he busted her talking to some "other guy." Don't you think her family would put that out there immediately if this is what happened?

His story has things that need answering. Ex. Why didn't she answer from the bathroom. Why didn't he call the police immediately when he thought she might be in the bathroom, Why did he move the body,

But I'm seeing no motive for this killing. What is the motive?

Yea, that's what no one can explain yet. That we're to believe they were just yelling and screaming at each other for a period of time (an hour according to a witness) and nothing physical happened that led up to the shooting? How does one assume a fight took place when there hasn't been any evidence of one put forth yet?

I still haven't seen anyone put forth how his version of events is impossible. Improbable? Yes. Not something an average person would do? Yes. But impossible? I don't think that's been proven yet.

What, you think people can't argue without getting physical?

  • #145
There were reports of one ex-who said..OP is not who everyone thinks he is.She was going to tell her story, but her lawyer told her not to.

So he loses to the guy in the Olympics. He starts claiming that the other guy didn't win fairly because the blades were too long.
And that after arguing that blades didn't give himself an unfair advantage in order to participate in regular Olympics and races.
I don't think he has this angelic personality some people seem to think he has.

Not many arguments go immediately from shouting for an hour to chasing with a gun. Where/what was the catalyst for that?

I don't think he's the cold blooded murderer that some people make him either. He's not perfect congrats he's like everyone else.

Plenty. Do you want me to start posting cases?

Very important question here.

These witnesses who said they heard fighting for an hour and then gunshots. Did ANY of them call the police when they heard the gun shots and report this THEN? Or did their memories adjust to the new information.

From his behavior during Paralympics, I am going to guess he has the sense of entitlement and a big head. The other guy won fair and squire.

I think it is a huge mistake to compare cases to this one in lieu of actually providing evidence in this case. It is what has bugged me from the start.

What actually happened in THIS CASE.

Where is the evidence in this case.

Anything else is irrelevant.

Well, in THIS CASE, he already admitted that he shot and killed her.

No I want to see proof that they were having a fight which led him to shoot her. A motive perhaps.

  • #155
He is only missing lower legs. He has knees. I presume he is walking on his knees. If he had to drag himself on the floor, I don't think he would have gone to the balcony like that, to remove that fan. How do you remove the fan if you have to drag himself on the floor?

Well, I don't think he did move any fan off any balcony, but that's beside the point.. :rocker:

  • #156
Exactly and he explained why, but because you think he's a jerk athlete all of a sudden it's premeditated murder?

Based on what?

Where is THAT evidence?

The guy's life is over. He would have to know that even WITH this excuse if he gets away with murder, even if he really did do it, that he'd have nothing in the end. He was already struggling to get into the games he wanted and that's gone. Any endorsements he had are straight out the window.

I can't see a man throwing away his entire life, unless he's got a good reason.

Y'all are saying "Rage" but you've yet to give any evidence that would explain what he was so enraged about?

What pissed him off so much? A woman mocking his sexual prowess? What? Because this ruined his life.

So what's the motive?

  • #157
Why does it have to be some profound deep reason? Just googling provides information on many cases where someone was shot over some idiotic argument. Such as a man accusing of shooting his girfriend after they argued over a TV show.

  • #158
4 Shots equal rage. The question is what could have driven him to do that.

I think we will learn that he was on some sort of steroid, thus the rage. I don't know of any herbal supplement an athlete would inject through a needle or syringe.

  • #159
Most crimes aren't rational. Why would this be any different?? It doesn't have to be huge concrete motive. A lot of times it isn't.

  • #160
I think the pro are saving the motive for trial.I can almost see an ex getting on that stand and telling what she knows-he is not who everyone thinks he is!!
