Very important question here.

These witnesses who said they heard fighting for an hour and then gunshots. Did ANY of them call the police when they heard the gun shots and report this THEN? Or did their memories adjust to the new information.

This video from the day of the shooting might help answer that question.

Why does it have to be some profound deep reason? Just googling provides information on many cases where someone was shot over some idiotic argument. Such as a man accusing of shooting his girfriend after they argued over a TV show.

Can it proven today that his story is false?

I can't see a man throwing away his entire life, unless he's got a good reason.

So what's the motive?

Crime of passion.

Piers Morgan tonight:

http://piersmorgan.blogs.cnn.com/20...-a-major-drinker-or-that-he-does-drink-a-lot/

Pistorius' friend on alcohol being banned as part of his bail: "I don't think that he is a major drinker, or that he does drink a lot"
On the heels of Friday's ruling that Oscar Pistorius could be released on bail, this evening "Piers Morgan Tonight" invites Kevin Lerena to share his reaction to some of the additional details coming out of the South African courtroom.

A close friend of the disgraced Paralympian, Lerena responded to learning that as part of Pistorius' agreement, he must abstain from drinking:

"He's a normal human being. We go out, we have fun," says the guest of his friend, a fellow South African. "As a person, he's never, ever, in my company, has alcohol changed his personality, or changed him as a person. Never around me has he ever changed in any way, when having alcohol in his system, at any time."

Noting that Lerena is confirming that Pistorius does drink, a detail that contradicts prior statement's by the sprinter's own attorney, Piers Morgan follows up:

"Would you say that the reality is he would have alcohol, just not to excess?"

"That's obviously something that he'd do in his private time, or his off time," says Lerena, of Pistorius drinking. "He's definitely not a person that goes out, and goes to clubs, and that type of thing. He's a very homely person that spends a lot of time with his friends, so, I don't think that he is a major drinker, or that he does drink a lot."

I think the pro are saving the motive for trial.I can almost see an ex getting on that stand and telling what she knows-he is not who everyone thinks he is!!

And we are probably all moving a bit too fast. The crime is just 9 days old.... motive is likely not fully developed.

Yes-have they even talked to her girlfriends, close friends or family to see if she spoke about there relationship?

What evidence is there that lends to this?

I don't think I need to get into this debate. All of the evidence points to a crime of passion, IMO. Feel free to feel differently. A woman is dead, and I sure wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of his 9mm after something ticked him off.

So your assertion is that they argued over a TV show and he shot her four times???:waitasec:

No the evidence points to someone who was shot and killed , we just don't know the circumstances. Accidental shootings happens all the time. Whether its one shot or four shots.

No, another guy shot his g/f over a TV show. So my assertion is that one doesn't need to have a deep profound reason to shoot his g/f.

How in the world is shooting someone 4 times can be called accidental?
He intened to shoot whoever was in that bathroom, by his own admission.

The poster uses the words such as...not that they were!

It hasn't been proven yet that he meant to shoot Reeva, that's my only point.

Night all, it's been fun.

But he meant to shoot whoever was in the bathroom. So how is that an accident?

I bet they're doing that right now. During the Olympics, he was dating a girl initials ST. After the Olympics he took a vacation with her (I know this through twitter and pics he posted). Very few pics of her were posted, though. Since this incident, her parents have been quoted as saying they're glad she's out of the "clutches of that man", and I also read that police were wanting to talk to her. Before the shooting, She apparently had plans to do a tell-all interview about him, saying "he's not who you think he is", but something changed her mind at that time.

That's gossip, he also has another girlfriend who says he never touched her.

The cops being called to the place for domestic disputes definitely gives me pause.

Has anyone else read OP's book? He disses his dad a little bit in the book. And his dad has been right there with him in the courtroom every day. A courtroom with fabulous lighting, I might add. OP looks really good, and I think it inadvertently lends some sympathy to him.
