Personal sound travel observation, have not bothered to look up the scientific stuff, probably b/c it would make no sense to me.

I always try to get a top floor apartment. Not talking about hearing everything in apartments, though you sure can!

If I opened up my windows and played medium setting boom box music the sound would travel down and across. It could be heard in the street beneath, of course the apartment beneath and beside, but also across the street! Arguments were the same. Had neighbors arguing, only this time downstairs. The very loud bar across the street, with a live band, had patrons walk over and ask if anyone needed help or to call 911! Should clarify that it was a live rock band with electric guitars, bass, and loud drums, not easy to sleep with that going on.

That's all I have. Oh, on a breezy day, from the upstairs the music at medium level, could be heard a few blocks away. Cloudy days help too. Don't know why. (Medium level on a small $20 boom box does not approach loud or medium on a stereo system.)

Is that the long term on and off one, who is on until better pickings come along then she's off.
Sounds like someone willing to be treated like a doormat IMO (referring to the ex girlfriend who might be called by the defence )

I would describe her as being co-dependent.

http://www.modernhomeopathicproducts.co.uk/Testis-Compositum-N

This link shows even more indications:

Indications: Disorders of male sexual function such as impotence, premature ejaculation, Peyronie's disease (penile induration), adi-positogenital syndrome and andropause and related disorders such as exhaustion, for metabolic support in males such as in di*abetes mellitus and osteomalacia (see below), damaged liver. Stimulation of regressive vicariation.

As soon as Roux mentioned Testis Compositum, I looked it up and immediately felt that his taking this herbal remedy while not banned might lead us to knowing more about OP and whether understanding his sexuality was relevant or not. I saw a red flag.

IMO mutual sexual satisfaction in a relationship is very important and it sounded to me so boring (only nine weeks into a relationship) that she would be doing yoga and he would be watching TV at 10pm as if to possibly avoid sex - not to say that he needed to tell us the details of that but it started me wondering if he was impotent - hence his feeling jealous and threatened by her many male admirers on Facebook if that is true and he did find their messages on her iPad that night which could be the case.

Reeva was an extremely beautiful woman going out with a younger man who is/was an icon in South Africa so was she really just a "handbag" to him to take out, show off and have pictures taken for the media? Was he capable of intimacy with her - sexually and emotionally? Or was it all just for show on his side but she needed more? And he pretended to friends and family that it was more? Maybe they had never had sex in the nine weeks they had known each other so he had bought the herbal remedy hoping it would work?
This is compelling and I think important to the case....I have stated previously that it would be extremely telling if autopsy revealed if she had sex that night or not. They are young, beautiful, according to oscar...madly in love, it's valentines day, gifts are exchanged....if they DID NOT have sex that night, well..that definitely gives us something to ponder!

I don't know much about bullet injuries (praise God), but I can't see RS screaming after being shot in the head. Will more bullet holes/shell casings be found in other rooms? Remains to be seen.
I doubt it, the forensics for the defence have more than likely gone though that house with a fine tooth comb..even finding a bullet lodged in the loo that was missed by the police.

And yet another friend of Reeva claimed that Reeva told her that if Oscar asked her to marry him, she would say yes!!

But I do hear you, I cannot jump to any conclusions about him being narcissist until I have heard the testimony from witnesses brought in for the prosecution or any others who may gibe interviews before then. Most witness testimony has been positive for Oscar so far but I'm sure in time, others will come forward. I absolutely disregard anything Mark Bachelour has to say (of the break legs incident) and I even imagine that the prosecution would be foolish to put him on the stand, the defense will rip him a new one.

My comment to that is that I think that Reeva was in romantic love with OP but you don't really know someone for at least three years. Romantic love can last that long but it is not real love! In other words, you refuse to see the warts and all as you are in dreamtime or limerence.

IMO on 13-14th February, Reeva suddenly saw the warts and all.

My dad and I don't have a good relationship but I know with certainty, that should I ever ,god forbid lol, need him, he would be right behind me.....I'm
sure I speak for thousands of people.

What I was implying, Carol, that it is a one way street with OP. He receives but does not give.

His father has been extremely supportive of him in court but so has his uncle and the rest of the family.

For example, why did he not say he had a present for Reeva?

It's very possible, I'm not discrediting it. It's just hard to believe that someone would throw away his life, for someone who he only knew for a short time. I agree with your love theory, to say that they were madly in love is a complete over-statement. It really was still early stages.

If she really had grave concerns, she should have been a little more intellengent to go about this the right way, she clearly felt so strongly about this that she came over from the states to bring it up...however, mentioning that his mother came to her in a dream, arriving in court with her papers in a checkers bag etc etc perpetuates that she could be a nutter, instantaneously loosing any credibility what's so ever. She has wasted her time.

And I'm not at all dissing the dream/pychic factor thing.

I ignored that she said she had a dream and focussed on her comments which to me are sound for whatever reason.

Lol.

You do provide good and logical arguments that they could use, in fact, some of them were used in the bail hearing!

Lol...maybe :p

It would help to know loads where the neighbour witness resides in relation to the house, if they were indeed having this supposed screaming match in the bathroom and the witness's house was on the otherside of the house, meaning closest to his bedroom, with the door shut and blinds closed, she couldn't have heard as clearly than if she were to live on the side of the house where the bathroom is located with its open window. OP house is pretty large compared to standard homes.

Screaming on non-carpeted floors would echo. In the still of the night noise carries. if it woke them up, then it must have been very loud screaming - Reeva trying to get help.

As of today nobody knows what happened, we have Oscars version and we have the states charges, two very different versions of events,

I think Oscars story is plausible, but as I posted before whether it is the truth I don't know enough yet to make an informed opinion,

we still have to wait for all the evidence to be tested, I don't think it was pre meditated murder, I doubt the state will ever come close to proving that,

Good article.

What we as laymen think of as intent is probably the biggest issue.

In the U.S. (don't know about SA) "intent" can happen in the blink of an eye. There is a difference between crime of passion and intent. I am not that savvy but have seen it in many cases at work. Semantics and case law, and interpretation of those, is what it comes down to.

He has very good lawyers so I am certain the outcome will be favorable for OP no matter how it goes.

And I am playing the Prosecution's role, Carol!

It's no secret that OP is involved with a lot of charities etc for disabled people so I'm going to assume that you mean in his personal relationships it would appear as he doesn't give anything of himself? I haven't read his book so am finding it difficult to be open to the idea that he may be narcissist based on the fact he dissed his dad in his book. You can't tell a person is a narcissist just by looking at them or maybe a bad loser.

Why he didn't mention he got a Reeva a gift is beyond me, especially since he felt the need to mention she got him one...could just simply be that he had one for her and didn't give it to her that evening...if it turns out that he hadn't got her anything at all, well, I guess that could change things somewhat.

And I am playing the Prosecution's role, Carol!

Ditto on doing a good job with sound and logical arguments.

To add, I hope OP does get psych evals from both sides, as they do here. We may never know of them, but I do think it would be beneficial, not just for the case, but for him. 26 is awfully young to me, help could be easy enough if the need is known.

I agree that she could have pertinent information about his state of mind, character etc etc..it's a real pity she blew her chance but I would imagine she will give some kind of interview, if she hasn't done so already.

the statement of Oscars was prepared and worded by his lawyers, they were at this stage only using it for purposes of the bail hearing,

I am sure they will flesh out more details of the night as time goes on in preparation for trial,

and it seems they were initially not getting together that evening but plans were changed and they decided to spend the night together, so Oscar may or may not have bought her a gift, if he was not expecting to see her he my have been intending to get a gift later (if he had not previously bought her one)

then again maybe he did not intend to buy her a present as Valentines day was not something he celebrated,
