General theory thread and motives rehashed #2

I dont know where to post this bc Marc Klass alluded to it on NG's show as a theory. He said that Ron liked young girls, and that perhaps he had friends who liked very, very young girls. That was a chilling thing to hear. My mind never went there.

I to got goosebumps when I heard that. I have had that theory in the back of my mine but didn't want to think about it that much since it is so disgusting to think about. Makes one wonder. RC hooked up with CS when she was 14 I think. Who knows how many other young girls he has been with.

July 26, 2010 Transcripts NANCY GRACE
Misty Croslin`s Parents Arrested on Drug Charges
"Snip" http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1007/26/ng.01.html

LALAMA: I`m Pat Lalama, sitting in for Nancy Grace. I want to go to Marc Klaas, president and founder of the Klaas Kids Foundation. I want to be as optimistic as possible. But this story began in February of 2009. There isn`t a suspect. There isn`t an arrest. There isn`t a lead. What can we hang onto, Marc?

MARC KLAAS, KLAAS KIDS FOUNDATION: Well, I don`t think we`re going to get anything out of these particular characters. They`ve been Van Der Sloot-ing the authorities, the media, and anybody else who will listen for a year-and-a-half now.

But I firmly believe that the key to this case lies within the community that these people came from, their friends, their associates. For instance, Ronald Cummings likes young girls. It`s obvious. We all know that. He had a baby with a 14-year-old. Misty was hardly much older than that when he got involved with her. Perhaps he has other friends that like young girls or even very young girls.

They should be looking at their friends. They should be looking at their associates. If they do that, ultimately, they`re going to find out what happened to little Haleigh.

Bringing this over from the NG thread. Ronald is much older than CS and MC. I can see where Klass is coming from. There is a big age difference, not by 1 or 2 yrs. We are talking by 6 yrs...sick!

If I am not mistaken Ronald is 6 years older than Crystal. At least from what the police report states. 6-7 Yrs older than Misty if I got the math right.
"Snip" http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/ima.../13/putnam.pdf

Ronald is 6 yrs older than Crystal Sheffield. If she got pregnant with Haleigh at 14yrs that means Ronald was already an adult. He would of been 20 yrs old if I got the math right.

Sheffield, Crystal Diane DOB 8-30-1989
19yrs old when Haleigh went missing. (From police report)

Croslin, Misty Jeanette DOB 12-9-1991
Age now is 18, 16 yrs old when she hooked up with Ronald, so he is 6-7 yrs older than Misty?. 17 yrs old when Haleigh went missing.

Cummings Ronald Lemyles DOB 10/29/83
25 yrs old when Haleigh went missing. Current age is 26 yrs old.

Yes he did put himself there, but nobody has ever accused Tommy, of being particularly clever. & I think he was very careful, (in his own mind, anyway), to put himself outside the trailer, only. I do believe he gave up that information, because #1 he was in jail & wanted out, & knew it would bolster LE's theory on an absentee Misty, & #2, because it removed himself, (again in his own mind), from the actual crime. He was just a helpful friend, checking on his sister. & also, if Tommy really had nothing to hide, when he told LE about his door banging, why didn't he tell them from the get go? Why did he wait til he was sitting in jail, (needing a fix, maybe?), to rat out his sister?

I think Tommy made the statement about going to the mobile home at 10:00 ONLY when LE confronted him with telephone records, but that's jmo. I don't know if TC actually went to the mobile home since he's now denying it, but I do believe they have records showing RC called TC that night prior to 10:00.

True, I don't think rc will rat her out. It would be hard to do with implicating himself. He is all about him and how he thinks he looks to people..lol.

All of this case is about ron's image as a father. From the 911 call forward, every move and statement was made to tell us what a great father he is. To speak ill of misty, reflected on rc, so they avoided it. Now they are in a pickle because they are going to have to decide how to make ron look good while proving she killed or knew who killed Haleigh. They can't put him on a stand, the Defense for misty would make mincemeat out of him and he knows it.

What to do..rc is hoping misty pleads out, gets sentenced and then he and the family will float all their memoirs of why misty was guilty of harming Haleigh and how Ron is a hero and a martyr for being the one who put it all together and sacrificed himself for Haleigh.

In fact, I am sure that is half of this is in the letter from AS for the judge.

But Whisperer, they have been protecting Ron's image as a father all along by saying he was only staying close to Misty to get the truth out her. That has been in the works from about day two. It has been a balancing act on a very thin tightrope and lots of people are buying it.

Joe's attorney made the statement that while Joe saw Haleigh on occasion, he never had any sort of direct interaction with her during his visit to Satsuma. If Joe carried Haleigh at any point, I don't see how Haleigh's DNA wouldn't be on some of those clothes. If Haleigh's DNA was found on his clothes, then they have Joe lying to them. I also wonder if they ever found Joe's DNA on the steering wheel of the blue van.

Some won't consider the gun theory because of the lack of blood. While we see a lot of it in the movies, a gunshot that causes instant death would not necessarily produce a lot of blood. I've seen cases where it wasn't even known that the person was shot until the medical examiner shaved the victim's head.

I have no idea whether a gun was involved in Haleigh's death or not, but considering the propensity for guns in this group, I wouldn't discount it.

Yet, whats even more chilling is we have a guy who likes young girls who has a missing daughter, I dont think Ron had a lot of friends.

In a case like this, where everyone is lying, how on earth do you separate fact from fiction. Certain things can be verified by a reliable source, but mostly we only have these jokers to mislead us. Haleigh is Ron’s daughter and he treats LE and others who are trying to find her, with contempt.

I think looking at some of their tactics, might lead to some truth. For example, what are they trying to make us believe? These lies seem the most convoluted, either by their excessive detail or simple unbelievability.

Ron didn’t just pick up Haleigh from the bus stop, but he also let her sit on his lap and help him drive the car. Misty was not just at the MH but she was playing Suzy Homemaker by cooking dinner, having family over, doing the laundry, before putting the kids to bed. And, before that, because Haleigh wanted to wear a specific outfit, despite being late for school, they took her to Gma’s house to accommodate her.

This is why I don’t believe any of this, but do wonder why they go into all this detail on these statements. It’s like “we have to say this, to cover up “this”. There are lots of other instances, and I would like to know what they believe they are covering up by these statements.

Also, I believe that Ron’s arrival before Misty called 911 was planned – he wanted to make sure that he was there to hear exactly what she was telling 911, all the while giving himself an alibi that he just arrived from work. He didn't trust her to say exactly what he wanted her to say, and that's why he was hovering around in the background.

Dion, great post. The "thanks" button was not enough.

The part that I bolded is exactly how I feel about the statements that we've heard. An Illusion.

JMO though

Yet, whats even more chilling is we have a guy who likes young girls who has a missing daughter, I dont think Ron had a lot of friends.

I am just of the opinion that after all this time, there can't be more than maybe two people who know what happened to Haleigh that night. I'll be surprised if anyone (friends outside of the two families) come forward at this point. And if we never find out what happened, then I'll assume I was right (in my own little mind).

As for Ron's friends, I've only seen the one at the beginning of the case and he split shortly after the story broke. I really don't think this case has to do with child trafficking or whatever Klaas was alluding to on NG. JMO

I agree with you Chablis. The fact that Ron liked young girls is sick...and then his daughter comes up missing? It does make you wonder WTH was going on.

Marc Klass mentioned looking at Ron's friends and associates and I think he is correct. I don't believe that Ron had many "friends", people that he would consider close enough to him to be a "friend". But I do believe that he had quite a few associates, though. Usually people that deal in drugs have many associates, but because they deal in drugs, they have very few "friends". They are too paranoid to have too many people real close to them. Didn't Ron mention something about no one knowing where he lived on Green Ln? I think it was Ron who said that.:waitasec: His associates may not have known but I'm willing to bet that his "friends" knew.

Which leads me to the point....Ron's "best friend" Orlando may know something. He may not know everything but, IMO, he knows something. He probably knows just as much as the Croslins.LOL

Orlando didn't hang around too long? I wonder why? Some best friend, eh?

JMO of course.

ITA suspicious!

BBM :)

IIRC, there was some falling out right after HaLeigh disappeared. When Ron set up camp, apparently O went to the tent and they had an arguement. I don't recall if it was about money or not, but for some reason, i think it was about money.

Didn't see or hear anything more from the "friend" I at one point in time, thought, maybe it was O that disposed of HaLeigh or was involved in the cover up and was told he would be paid, and in my thought, that was what the argument was about. O was coming to collect..... this was just a thought though.

I'm not so sure about those phone records. Didn't the cops say they were having some kind of technology difficulty? If they had a record of Ron calling Tommy, wouldn't they have confronted him earlier? The way this case has been going, it wouldn't surprise me in the least, if those technology difficulties, involve only Ron...all of the records & pings, except his, are got. Also, I wonder if that difficulty, involved the time clock, at PDM... & then again, the cops could be lieing, about that trouble, to keep the public from knowing what they have up their sleeve. Who knows.

They could have confronted Ronald, we are not privy to what they know and do. I remember someone in LE saying, they weren't getting into back and forth calls, well to me it shows that Ron and Tommy did talk that night. I think Tommy got rid of stuff for Ronald, but if he admits that, then Tommy admits Ronald had prior knowledge of his childs demise and was getting the house "cop ready" Ron may be locked up, but there are scarier people out there, like the family member whos holding Rons semi automatic assault riffle.

Also those prepaid "throw away" phones dont record pings. Just a thought.

I know this is O/T, sorry mod's plz move as needed. I just would really like to know why Haleigh's Case never had a Grand Jury Hearing? Why? Everyone has lied, why would the SA not move forward with Haleigh's case? I just don't understand.

Grand jury probes missing Oregon boy Kyron Horman case
Published: July 27, 2010
"Snip" http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2010...s-missing-Oregon-boy-case/UPI-64761280249295/

PORTLAND, Ore., July 27 (UPI) -- A grand jury has been convened in Oregon to look into the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman, a lawyer representing a subpoenaed witness said.

It was something to that effect. "I'd give anything for my daughter's life back."

The parent of a just gone missing (I hate that phrase) or abducted child (seems to me) would more likely say, "I'd give anything for my child back." not my child's life back - unless they knew the child was deceased... which so sadly is my (and others') contention.

Right, and according to LP, who sat next to Ron before they appeared on NG, Ron rejected his offer to provide him all the money he needed to help bring his daughter back.

Yep, and on the LVA Misty went on and on about how close she and Timmy and that he was the good brother. He would be the first one she would call, amazingly Ron liked and trusted Timmy too.

LT, Did Ron still like and trust Timmy after Ron filed a report against Timmy for calling him names ?

Ron doesn't like and trust anyone, imo. Once you do him wrong, on any level, he get filled with venom. This is my take on him.

I wanted to share an example of why I had stated that it has been ron who constantly brought up the issue of custody as did TN. This is an excerpt from Greta questioning him. I witnessed this type of reaction from RC frequently.

.."VAN SUSTEREN: Ronald, always in every investigation, the person that people focus on are the people who last saw the child, so obviously, your girlfriend has got -- you know, there's a lot of focus on her. Is there any reason that you have any suspicion that your girlfriend knows more than she's saying, Ronald?

RONALD CUMMINGS: No, there is not. And I would like for a lot of the false allegations to be discarded. There's been a lot of false allegations made by the mother and her mother. And I just don't -- I don't appreciate it. It's not a custody battle. This here is about finding a 5-year-old missing child, my daughter..."
--------

Notice the "my daughter" not our daughter. Very possessive, very selfish. I imagine he talked bad about Crystal to misty constantly. He has no compassion for anyone but himself.

This is typical rc. He has an agenda and it appears he is very concerned about custody of jr and for good reason. He is a lousy parent. He likes to talk trash and has been since day one and the LE responding. All of his phrasing leans towards this from the very first interview. He is the one who brings up the subject of custody even if not asked. The question is why. It appears it his driving force. He never once spoke about Crystal as the mother of the children and her love for them. However, Crystal always mentioned him when she would plead for Haleigh. rc is very self-absorbed, to say the least.

This case is all about protecting rc and his image as a father. The gmas must know he was not very good at it and welcomed any female that could come in there and help out with the kids.
His lack of ability and judgement led to the murder of his child.

I just don't get the lies BEFORE Haleigh allegedly disappeared. What is the reason for lying about the morning of Feb 9 unless the circumstances surrounding her demise started then?

Why wouldn't misty say she was visiting her father on Monday? I don't think she did. I think, if she saw him at all, it was Sunday. WBG is wrong about the time and the day, you can count on it.

BBM

Whisperer, perhaps the lies Ron told BEFORE his daughter disappeared confirm our suspicions that Ron indeed did plan his daughter’s disappearance. I think the fact Ronald knew 911 had to be notified immediately when a child came up missing is very significant, and he possibly seized the opportunity to implicate Misty for his daughter’s disappearance to cover his own butt. I'm pretty sure the "technical difficulty" was brought up because so many people questioned why it took LE so long to obtain phone records. Even at that, I'm not sure LE was the one who made that statement. Perhaps it came from AH sources? I do remember NG questioning it and for some reason I'm thinking it was in August of 2009, but I'm not sure.

Tommy didn't admit to talking to Ron that night over the phone until his arrest in November I believe. The only reason I give it any credence is because Ron responded to it through his attorney and confirmed that he did call Tommy that night, although not for the reason Tommy stated.
