Hi Papa, Just curious as to WHY you are inclined to believe Misty has information as to where Haleigh's remains were placed..TYIA

Hi Em. I don't think Misty knew in the beginning, they wouldn't tell her. But I do believe with what she does know, which is what happened to Haleigh, and by whom, she has had a lot of time to figure it out. She's pretty street smart, and she knows these people intimately. I would bet good money that she has a d--n good idea where Haleigh is. Even if she could name people and point out some evidence to that, and pass a LDT, if it was my decision, that would still be good enough for me. Now what LE would do with that, I can't say.

Could very well be she has figured it all out as to what they may have done with Haleigh's remains, but I doubt she has any proof..
Seems to me LE would be able to detect from an LDT what she knows and what she doesn't know too, however I'm not convinced LE is really serious about wanting to bring the person responsible for Haleigh's death to justice...JMHO

i really wish that they would offer misty a deal she can't refuse... for any truthful information regarding haleigh's disappearance. of course for haleigh but also for jr.

it's so sad that one day he will grow up and be able to find information on his beloved sister and find out theres a dozen different people who could have harmed her or been involved.

i'm sure he will try to read up as much as he can on his sister's disappearance and he will find out that RC, TN, AS, MC, TC, JO all have been considered in different theories and TiC, CC, HS and even Lindsay have all been discussed at great length about what they might possibly know

for haleigh, but also for Jr, i hope and pray that SOMEONE in the case will eventually feel bad for putting poor little jr through this and comes forward with information

***this is not to take away from wanting justice for haleigh or for what she has gone through at all***

Em, I don't know that I have a tangible reason, but it seems likely to me that she does know. Ronald and her seemed joined at the hip in this case and it simply does not compute for me that Misty could escape knowing anything that her braggadocios bed buddy knew.

I just know that contrary to any logic that I can grasp, EVERYONE in his family seemed to have an extreme debt of gratitude constantly being shown on Misty's behalf. Her silence and happiness seemed infinitely more important than all else.

Yeah Em, I have some reservations about LE's "style" of investigation too. I am so sad to say that...

Yes. that is who I mean. I think they were majorly involved in disposal (yuk, I couldn't find the word I was looking for.)

IDK removal sounds better.

That thought passed my mind at one time also. The Uncle was spoken about during the time of the ground searches. The Father was in the "limelight" during the Gonna Find WBG & Kikk Some A** along with his hot tempered son

Another thing I found strange - no mention of these two individuals by the media. No footage of them at any trials. almost as though they no longer exist .....

Yes, they were there in the background for the first few days and then disappeared. No one spoke of them or their connections again. The "hunt" (WBG) was kind of passed off as nothin' much. To have this kind of back-up for the "hunt" sounds pretty meaningful to me. Not just hot-head Ron making a fuss......

Refresh my memory -- why was RC (and company) looking for WBG? Did he think they had HaLeigh?

Nope, I think it was because WBG had Misty!!!!!:floorlaugh:

LOL, laughing as I type this, I love it! Wasn't Ron's father one of the "stars" in the famous Geraldo interview with Ron Cummings? :floorlaugh: My most favorite interview!!! I say let's get Geraldo back in Putnam County and let him interrogate those special ones who haven't had their share!:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Man what a great idea! Think we could talk Geraldo into it?:rocker:
Does he have a website?:woohoo:

I may be wrong but I was under the impression The Cummings called the law on Geraldo and LE ran Geraldo out of Putnam County..

You're probably right, Em. They probably knew that with Geraldo's keen investigative skills, the truth might come out. He is a bulldog!

Yep, sad to say but the Cummings did just that. He's probably not allowed around the ones left. Too bad. He definitely did not mind getting into the middle of the fray.

From a moral standpoint it is reprehensible that any of these people have not told all they know to aid in solving this case. However, from a legal standpoint, I can understand why they haven't.

LE have admitted they have no evidence of a crime having been committed at the MH and since they did little or no searching of other properties, they have no evidence of what happened, when it happened, or where it happened. This means there is no evidence whatsoever--or at least none that points toward anyone as the perp--and since LE readily admits that, why would any POI come forward with any information? And why would any bystander come forward if it would get their friend/relative in serious trouble?

I think LE has their work cut out for them if they have any desire at all in solving Haleigh's disappearance. Their initial and subsequent searches did not cover some areas that they should have, and it's most likely too late to do that now. So LE sits and waits for someone to step forward and hand them the evidence they need, after having made it obvious that without such evidence there can be no charges.

Hopefully the appeals process will not stretch out over years for any of the players. As long as they have any degree of hope on appeal, they will remain mute, IMO. If the process gets them close enough to their release dates, they will just sit out the rest of their time behind bars, mute. And LE has stated that until someone talks the case cannot move forward.

:waitasec: Imagine that, in this day and age, an investigative reporter being banned from a town for asking questions...PCSO has WAY TOO MUCH power when they're not only controlling local media coverage, but the National media coverage as well!

It looks like the question thread was closed, so I'll ask this here. I just saw an FBI poster of Haleigh & was wondering if this is something new or has it been around for awhile. Also, does this mean that the FBI is actively involved in her investigation or is this normal protocol? Thanks. The poster I saw was in an updated article dated 3-22-11 I would link it, but my computer is acting up & I can't get it to work. Thanks. MOO.

Who was the article by Dodie? Where can I go to read it? Wouldn't it be great if it is a currently written article?:woohoo:

I would like to read the article, too. I just visited the FBI website and there is nothing new there. The FBI was involved in the beginning when it was thought to be a kidnapping; FBI always gets involved in kidnappings, but once it is determined not to be a kidnapping the investigation usually continues without further FBI involvement. If there is a recent article on this case, I would like to read it, especially if it mentions FBI involvement.

I've never before heard of getting arrested for trespassing in a cemetery! Wonder what that was all about?

For that matter, I wonder what Mr. Cummings was doing in a cemetery with his 15 year old cousin?
