Yep, I agree with you. Just to add, I guess Haleigh and Jr. took shifts sleeping, Haleigh at night because she had to go to school and Jr. took days. I know it's not funny, but at this point I find myself becoming a smart alec.
When I 1st heard the story of Jr sleeping, not being heard on the 911, then sleeping late, & then napping while Ron went to get Haleigh...I was upset. upset that a child was so ignored. But then logic set in & I realized that this was all a crock. MOO.

I'm not hearing Neves, I'm hearing 'my name is'. This tape has me so confused. If that was LE's intention, they succeeded. When I 1st heard the tape, way back in the beginning, I thought things were being said to point towards a retaliation...& I thought that was fake, because, well, dope boys don't do that. at least not in my neck of the woods. But, after hearing about the conflict between Ron Joe & Tommy, & FH's account of Misty maybe being in on a gun theft, etc...IDK, but that goes beyond dope boys & gets more into bad family blood, & bad family blood causes some pretty serious issues. When I try to actually picture even family retaliation getting to that point, I honestly can't see it-no matter how many drugs are involved. unless...it started out as a scare tactic & then something went wrong, but those dumpster hits say otherwise. Something happened to Haleigh that night. In the 911, Ron's demeanor just seems wrong. He immediately jumped to the retaliation theory & blamed Misty for letting his daughter get stole. So, either some really bad blood was going on, or he was diverting the issue. If he was being honest, then he knew something was up, so why in the world did he leave the kids with Misty? Did he expect her to fend off kidnappers & murderers? I still think there's a possibility that Ron assumed the wrong thing...that he had reason to suspect retaliation, but it was actually something separate. But, & these are important question I ask myself...was the bad blood so bad that Ron really believed that retaliation was what happened? did he assume the wrong thing? was he faking? MOO

:seeya: Hi Friend! My belief is that at least part if not all of some of these people's stories "Is a Crock!!!!" LOL, yeah I couldn't resist. If you combine all the stories, Teresa is the ONE who knows more about each person's story than that person even knows about their story. Imagine that? Teresa backed up the Misty was the greatest babysitter and that Misty and Ron had "talked everything out" supposedly, that Sunday night. She personally sent Grandma Sykes over to check on the children that night in order to have Grandma Sykes come out with her "delivering laundry" story to confirm that Misty was there. There are also stories out that Teresa sought out Misty to get her to babysit, she even offered to pay her.:waitasec: If Ron and Misty "talked things over Sunday night" why wasn't Misty already babysitting??? HUH? Teresa arrived at the speed of light with Haleigh's photo in hand for the officers responding to the 911 call. (I suspect that there is an empty spot on Grandma Sykes wall where the picture was removed). IMO, she most likely sent Ron's butt off to work so that he could be seen by someone and then most likely told him to go by this store with the security video so that his arrival home could be verified. Teresa gave up the family heirloom ring for Ron to give to the greatest girlfriend he ever had. :crazy:We are still trying to figure out what the heck she had in mind to do to Cobra in the woods near the hogpens. She most likely purchased the "new" babydoll for the Maury show. What I can't figure out is why haven't we seen her being escorted into Law Enforcement to be questioned and should we hope, polyed? But, she is so proud of Ron. And he should be proud of her too, she has worked very hard for him and it is not her fault is it if Misty screwed all her efforts up by dragging Ron into dealing drugs?:floorlaugh:

BAck at Ya Lone. Your's is a post I can easily believe. TN was the ring leader and the main spokesperson to boot. jmo

I may be crazy  but it sounded like, when the dispatcher said "what's her middle name?" the person said "Smith". Tell me I'm carzy...but do we know anyone connected to this case named Smith?:waitasec:

And! A very good smart Alec!

After all this time, I do believe it is time for us to suspect every word said about Haleigh's disappearance by the Cummings gang.

I know I'm going to feel a lot of "eyes rolling" from all of you but please bear with me on this. I know that this has been discussed into the next century but I listened to this for about a thousand times but I just can't get past the change in the voice answering the dispatcher on the 911 call. Please listen to this call and at the 5:36 mark, where the dispatcher is trying to get someone to give her Haleigh's first, middle and last name. To me, this is not Misty speaking and no one has been able to convince me that it is. It is a much deeper voice than Misty's. I have always thought that it could be either Hope, Teresa or Crystal (Ron's sister) briefly speaking to the dispatcher. I would like to know if any of you think the same thing.

Just getting caught up....Lone, I have always believed that there was someone else on that phone call. IMO, that was NOT Misty....It sounds as if Ron might've been choking the hell out of Misty and she couldn't speak so someone else chimed in to cover up what Ron was doing to her. Either someone was there with them or someone was on the three way with them. JMO

That was a toddler bed mattress that was on the floor in the Master bedroom and I have a hard time visualizing both Haleigh and Jr. sleeping on that little mattress. I've posted my thoughts early on that I suspected that Jr.'s room was being used to grow pot plants and not for one of the children to inhabit. I've always suspected that the pot plants found at the Mondex pond were hurriedly put there that night to "clean" up the MH so that the 911 call could be made.

Well Lone, once again, I too believe that pot was being grown in that third bedroom. When I heard about the Mondex search, that I also believe was searched because of information given by Tommy, and LE found the pot plants, I immediately thought of that third bedroom. I don't think there was anything else in that bedroom...not even a bed...IMO, that may have been the reason not to show that room...it was empty. Didn't Ron move from a two bedroom? Maybe he hadn't bought another bed.

As far as the Mondex search, I believe that Tommy knew that the pot plants were there. And if, during the clean up, the pot plants were taken to the Mondex...and Tommy knew they were there.....Tommy must've taken them there or knew the person who had. jmo

Fo some reason I associate the Mondex search with LE being concerned about a phone call between Tommy and Ron.

Dodie, I didn't think I was crazy...I'm glad you heard it too..LOL..

IMO, that's why the third person came to the rescue. Someone trying to cover up that abuse being inflicted onto Misty. Wasn't it AS who had been present when Ron and Misty were fighting at her home and she claimed she didn't hear anything? IMO, they all knew Ron was abusive towards Misty....

On the 911 call you don't hear anyone saying "don't touch her!" or "don't do that to her"...instead they just chose to pick up where Misty left off talking to the operator. very strange because clearly someone is there with them and witnessing the abuse. jmo

My sister married a preacher & they moved on campus of a seminary so he could finish his degree. One day, I was visiting their apartment & made the mistake of opening their bedroom door. In that room was a 'veritable smorgasbord' of pot plants, lamps, fans, heaters, you name it. The fact that they were getting away with it, kind of blew me away. I heard about the pot plants in this case, but was there any mention of any accessories? The only reasons I can think of to throw away plants, is because the owner had to or because he/she got spooked. But realistically speaking, they could have belonged to anyone...even a preacher, lol. MOO.

IDK, but if you put me on a jury involving a missing child case and I heard one person say:

"We're f***ed"

While another one asked:

"what did you do with her?"

And a third one I had head on national TV talking about getting there lickety split after being called, turns out to be talking on the original 911 call?

You're going to have to be extremely creative with your defense to EVER get me past that.

ITA, CP.

Misty also said that when Ron got home she asked him "Do you have Haleigh?"

On the 911 call Misty is asking Ron "what did you do with her?".

IMO, Misty believes that Ron has Haleigh or has done something with her but she is not sure. Maybe that's why in one of her test she seemed unsure as to Ron's involvement. Either Misty has absolutely no idea what happened to Haleigh or she knows "something' that may have happened earlier that day but is clueless about the aftermath. Does that make sense?

But why would she suspect Ron of having or doing something with Haleigh if he had been at work all night?

What if Misty's question on the 911 call "what did you do with her" was not directed to Ron? That statement just makes me think that the night of Feb. 9th, Misty really did not know where Haleigh was. Although, on one of her tests she failed the question about knowing where Haleigh was...that just makes me think sometime between the 911 call and the test, Misty was fed a story about Haleigh's whereabouts and Misty believed it to be the truth but still maintained that she didn't know because she was still in cover up mode.

It's late and I'm rambling so I guess I will make my way to bed. Night.

LOL...dodie, you are too funny! I suppose you could be right but the timing of it all just seemed weird.

LE questioned Tommy about a phone between him and Ron.
After talking with Tommy, LE decided to search the Mondex.
During the search, LE found marijuana plants.

Maybe, just maybe, that was the connection between Ron and Tommy. IMO, the plants would have had to been taken from the mh, if the owner knew that his property would be searched by LE for other reasons, kwim?

I was thinking some of the same stuff. She might not have been talking to Ron. just thinking out loud, ya know? There was point in that tape, where I thought I heard her say, oh my god, is it Hope? Now, she could've been talking about Hope maybe calling at that moment ,or hope as in faith, or even said the word home. That's the problem with that tape. We can't be sure of anything. MOO

I just went back & listened to the 'hope' reference, & right before that, it sounds like amidst all the garble, Ron asks did you call (in or Lyn), & then Misty answers with, oh my god is it hope...but she could've been saying, he isn't home. & Ron may not have said Lyn, it might have been a coincidence with the garble. MOO.

Ok, i just listened again to the 911 call and although it sounds as if the third party is saying "neev" it doesn't sound like TN it sounds a little like Hope. I wonder what he mother sounded like, could Hopes mom been the one at the mh?

LOL...the 911 call is open to interpretation in its chopped up form. Some of the earlier releases are still available and some aren't. There were several versions with the background volume reduced and the foreground enhanced. I heard one version that was the opposite, and in that version you could hear clearly what was said in the background. I wish it was still available; I would like nothing more than to be able to link to it here.

I never heard anyone reference "...hope" but I did hear Misty say "god it's cold." Probably because they had a back door standing open...

Some heard "bleach cleaning" while others heard "been cleaning." I cannot hear anyone say "Neves" but others do. I have carpy speakers on my computer and the only way I was ever able to make out anything said in the background was on that one early version that had the full call (except for some LE redacation) with background enhanced. Unfortunately I can't provide a script because I can't link to the audio anymore.

With the versions that are available, it's all open to interpretation. Ten people can listen to the same tape and give eight or nine different interpretations. Throw into the fray all the nonsense splicings that were played on Nancy Grace and it's no wonder nothing in the call makes sense.

I'm thinking the 3rd person on that call is either Hope, Katrina Belcher or Crystal Cummings..

Anyone know where to locate the video of Katrina Belcher talking with reporters about driving Crystal around the first day she got there. IIRC it is in the video where Ron C and Misty are wrapped around each other and Ron is being extremely arrogant to the reporters. Katrina speaks in that video, as does Crystal Cummings..
There is also another video with TN and Crystal Cummings where they are both talking about Jo Overstreet.. Crystal mentions he is not a nice person; or a person you would want your kids around...

I'm looking for both videos so I can hear their voices again... TYIA..

ETA I found this... but still can't tell..Still looking for a video with Crystal Cummngs' voice on it.
