LOL...the 911 call is open to interpretation in its chopped up form. Some of the earlier releases are still available and some aren't. There were several versions with the background volume reduced and the foreground enhanced. I heard one version that was the opposite, and in that version you could hear clearly what was said in the background. I wish it was still available; I would like nothing more than to be able to link to it here.

I never heard anyone reference "...hope" but I did hear Misty say "god it's cold." Probably because they had a back door standing open...

Some heard "bleach cleaning" while others heard "been cleaning." I cannot hear anyone say "Neves" but others do. I have carpy speakers on my computer and the only way I was ever able to make out anything said in the background was on that one early version that had the full call (except for some LE redacation) with background enhanced. Unfortunately I can't provide a script because I can't link to the audio anymore.

With the versions that are available, it's all open to interpretation. Ten people can listen to the same tape and give eight or nine different interpretations. Throw into the fray all the nonsense splicings that were played on Nancy Grace and it's no wonder nothing in the call makes sense.

you are absolutely right. unless we hear the original call that LE heard, we can't truly pinpoint what was said. its so frustrating that two years later, we still cant make out what was said on the call. it would probably answer a lot of our questions.

IMO, that's why the third person came to the rescue. Someone trying to cover up that abuse being inflicted onto Misty. Wasn't it AS who had been present when Ron and Misty were fighting at her home and she claimed she didn't hear anything? IMO, they all knew Ron was abusive towards Misty....

On the 911 call you don't hear anyone saying "don't touch her!" or "don't do that to her"...instead they just chose to pick up where Misty left off talking to the operator. very strange because clearly someone is there with them and witnessing the abuse. jmo

RE BBM: I strongly suspect that this was/has been the case all along in this family; they've witnessed Ronald's abuse for years, including & most especially the abuse toward HaLeigh & Jr. and they choose to ignore it, shut up about it, and simply "pick up" wherever it left off... This is the very core of my anger toward the Cumming's family! JMO~

I'm thinking the 3rd person on that call is either Hope, Katrina Belcher or Crystal Cummings..

Anyone know where to locate the video of Katrina Belcher talking with reporters about driving Crystal around the first day she got there. IIRC it is in the video where Ron C and Misty are wrapped around each other and Ron is being extremely arrogant to the reporters. Katrina speaks in that video, as does Crystal Cummings..
There is also another video with TN and Crystal Cummings where they are both talking about Jo Overstreet.. Crystal mentions he is not a nice person; or a person you would want your kids around...

I'm looking for both videos so I can hear their voices again... TYIA..

Well Lone, once again, I too believe that pot was being grown in that third bedroom. When I heard about the Mondex search, that I also believe was searched because of information given by Tommy, and LE found the pot plants, I immediately thought of that third bedroom. I don't think there was anything else in that bedroom...not even a bed...IMO, that may have been the reason not to show that room...it was empty. Didn't Ron move from a two bedroom? Maybe he hadn't bought another bed.

As far as the Mondex search, I believe that Tommy knew that the pot plants were there. And if, during the clean up, the pot plants were taken to the Mondex...and Tommy knew they were there.....Tommy must've taken them there or knew the person who had. jmo

Fo some reason I associate the Mondex search with LE being concerned about a phone call between Tommy and Ron.

I find that I can readily see Tommy getting drafted into removing the pot plants and promised drugs as payment during that phone call from Ron to Tommy. I can also see Tommy calling his brother's house to get someone to bring the van over so that he can remove the pot plants. What I can't see is Ron and Teresa and Annette allowing an outsider to dispose of Haleigh. That job would only be entrusted to an immediate family member on the Cummings side of the family.

I agree lone, I think it's very possible that Jr's bedroom was being used as a "grow room." That would explain the sleeping/bedding arrangments AND it could also explain using the "backdoor propped open with a brick" script. A vehicle could easily back up to or drive alongside that ramp (at the backdoor) to load the plants in and take them away virtually unseen. Do we know if the neighbors in the trailer to the left of 202 Green Lane (with the white lattuce fencing) were home that night/early morning? If someone was home, I don't see how they couldn't have seen this - unless they worked nights/Ron knew their schedules and worked around them...just thinking out loud at this point. Any thoughts?

i agree.. i don't think Ron would have asked any of the Croslin's to dispose of little Haleigh. i also don't know why Ron would ask Tommy to get rid of the plants instead of someone in his family? at that time, i don't think Tommy and Ron got along.

Ron must have wanted something though otherwise he wouldn't have called him that night

LE questioned Tommy about a phone between him and Ron.
After talking with Tommy, LE decided to search the Mondex.
During the search, LE found marijuana plants.

Maybe, just maybe, that was the connection between Ron and Tommy. IMO, the plants would have had to been taken from the mh, if the owner knew that his property would be searched by LE for other reasons, kwim?

Yep, and the access to the area where the pot plants were disposed of could have been very difficult to drive a van through, thus you get the scratch and broken headlight.

Misty also said that when Ron got home she asked him "Do you have Haleigh?"

On the 911 call Misty is asking Ron "what did you do with her?".

IMO, Misty believes that Ron has Haleigh or has done something with her but she is not sure. Maybe that's why in one of her test she seemed unsure as to Ron's involvement. Either Misty has absolutely no idea what happened to Haleigh or she knows "something' that may have happened earlier that day but is clueless about the aftermath. Does that make sense?

But why would she suspect Ron of having or doing something with Haleigh if he had been at work all night?

What if Misty's question on the 911 call "what did you do with her" was not directed to Ron? That statement just makes me think that the night of Feb. 9th, Misty really did not know where Haleigh was. Although, on one of her tests she failed the question about knowing where Haleigh was...that just makes me think sometime between the 911 call and the test, Misty was fed a story about Haleigh's whereabouts and Misty believed it to be the truth but still maintained that she didn't know because she was still in cover up mode.

It's late and I'm rambling so I guess I will make my way to bed. Night.

BBM This is a good question S1. If, as some suspect, TN was there and that was her voice heard on the 911 tape, could that question have been directed at her? Maybe Misty and TN had had an earlier discussion on who was going to babysit, and Misty thought that TN was still with Haleigh? If so, that question would make sense being asked to TN? :waitasec:

:waitasec: She does talk slower but in this type of situation I'm sure that the adrenalin would be pumping and she would have been speaking a bit faster than normal. I have to admit she does sound a lot like the voice on the 911 call. But she and Hope are cousins and raised up in the same area so they could sound alike.
