BBM This is a good question S1. If, as some suspect, TN was there and that was her voice heard on the 911 tape, could that question have been directed at her? Maybe Misty and TN had had an earlier discussion on who was going to babysit, and Misty thought that TN was still with Haleigh? If so, that question would make sense being asked to TN? :waitasec:

That question would make sense if Misty directed that question to Teresa. I'm not sure who that is on the 911 call but it is MO that it is someone related to the Cummings.

Does anyone know if Teresa arrived on the scene with anyone else? I mean, was Crystal with her? Hope? Katrina?

I agree lone, I think it's very possible that Jr's bedroom was being used as a "grow room." That would explain the sleeping/bedding arrangments AND it could also explain using the "backdoor propped open with a brick" script. A vehicle could easily back up to or drive alongside that ramp (at the backdoor) to load the plants in and take them away virtually unseen. Do we know if the neighbors in the trailer to the left of 202 Green Lane (with the white lattuce fencing) were home that night/early morning? If someone was home, I don't see how they couldn't have seen this - unless they worked nights/Ron knew their schedules and worked around them...just thinking out loud at this point. Any thoughts?

NMS, IMO the backdoor being bricked would account for someone making multiple trips back and forth. It would only take one trip to carry Haleigh out so I'm thinking the back door was bricked because someone had to make multiple trips and their hands would not be free to continuously open the door. jmo

Don't know what she told LE but If anyone was with her she never mentioned it in any of her interviews..JMHO

I still want to know what that 2:13am phone call to LE was about. Per Lt. Greenwood it is a part of this investigation. I wonder why they never released that one?

ETA: something else I have been thinking about: Lt Greenwood said that the paternal grandmother, Ms. Neves, was there that evening...yet Teresa told us that she sent a family member over. Could Teresa have told LE, in the beginning, that she was there and then retracted her statement as if LE misunderstood what she said? Why would she claim to have been there that evening and then deny it? Was it a slip of the tongue that needed to be corrected?

:waitasec: She does talk slower but in this type of situation I'm sure that the adrenalin would be pumping and she would have been speaking a bit faster than normal. I have to admit she does sound a lot like the voice on the 911 call. But she and Hope are cousins and raised up in the same area so they could sound alike.

To me, the voices sound alike, but Crystal Cummings seems to have a slightly different "accent". I don't mean like a foreigh accent, but a different local sound. Sorry, I don't know how to say exactly what I mean. LOL

Again, not what i was looking for but this article is from the dock search and well, Steve Brown is saying HE is the reason LE went looking in that area.

"Information I developed led to what they started on Tuesday," said Steve Brown. "As to what they are looking for, you'll need to ask the Putnam County Sheriff's Office."

If when Haleigh had went missing, if they would have found another room devoted to growing or meth labs or whatever, I would have totally believe Ronald Cummings was innocent in whatever had happened to his daughter. I know what a drug addict looks like and Ronald Cummings not only looked like one to me, he turned out to be one. The cleaning out of the house before 911 was called, is where I think Tommy may come in, or even Hope.

Dodie, I didn't think I was crazy...I'm glad you heard it too..LOL..

IMO, that's why the third person came to the rescue. Someone trying to cover up that abuse being inflicted onto Misty. Wasn't it AS who had been present when Ron and Misty were fighting at her home and she claimed she didn't hear anything? IMO, they all knew Ron was abusive towards Misty....

On the 911 call you don't hear anyone saying "don't touch her!" or "don't do that to her"...instead they just chose to pick up where Misty left off talking to the operator. very strange because clearly someone is there with them and witnessing the abuse. jmo

I also heard a few "ouch" "oh" and cries of pain right at the time that Misty is saying..................I just woke up!. For some reason I'm thinking that she maybe just woke up and realized that everyone was trying to get in touch with her and that is why she appeared so late at the MH.

I thought the same thing Lone. Maybe she's trying to explain why she was not answering her phone. But then my question is "who woke her up"? Do you know what was said prior to her responding "I just woke up!"?

I just don't understand. Misty argues with Ron at 8:30pm....she then turns off her phone....Ron calls Tommy at 9pm....supposedly at the Magnolia address....why?? Tommy shows up at the mh at around 10pm...Tommy claims Misty is not there. Misty is seen crying on the phone around 2:30am in front of the mh...Ron gets home at about 3:25am....Cops want to know what took him so long getting home..

Now, here's a few questions:
1. If Misty was not at the mh when the argument occurred and she was not there when Tommy showed up...where was she? Even the cops want to know.
2. If she was not there that evening, how did Misty get inside the mh prior to Ron returning home? Didn't she give her key back to Ron?
3. With Misty not having a key, maybe that explains why she's outside on her phone at 2:30am. So who let her in or did she not get in until Ron supposedly arrived home?
4. Tommy said that Haleigh died long before the 911 call. So if Misty did not arrive until shortly after 2am and prior to that her phone was off...is it possible that Misty did not know about what happened to Haleigh until she arrived later that evening? so how did Tommy know, if Misty didn't know? Misty told LE to talk to Tommy...maybe Tommy does know more than Misty.

The one confirmed fact we know, is Ron called Tommys house looking for Misty at a time the kids were supposed to be in bed. Ron even said on TV that he had no reason to believe Misty left that night, but his confirmed action speaks otherwise. If people truly care about Haleigh and not saving Ronald, why does this not bug more people?

this is my take on that portion of the call. 'Ronald, she heard that, I just woke up.' I think Ron had said, 'his mouth is full'. & then I hear him either say, 'this here's what you want', or 'who cares what you want', or '6 years is what you want', & this is ridiculous, but I think I hear him him say, 'so kiss these'. It's hard to make out because a beep cuts him off & his sentence isn't finished. MOO.

Not to mention that whoever used that door for whatever they were taking out didn't even think to turn the light off to make it look as though someone intruded in that mobile home that night. It was get the stuff out of here because they will be searching the place. JMO

Oops........forgot to turn the light off.......kind of a biggie if you're trying to stage an abduction and you're supposed to be sleeping in the next room!

Oh Baz, I forgot about the light....someone was very comfortable being in the mh to have turned on the light. who does that? especially if someone was actually in the home during the "abduction". either they were too comfortable with being inside the mh or they knew that no one was home to be awaken by the light.

Maybe the mh wasn't staged, per se...yet it was how the mh was left after getting rid of evidence....kitchen light on, brick still in the back door. jmo

Who does that? The king of the stupid plans, Ronald Cummings. Anyone who says they want to put 11 inches down someones throat definatly has a flair for the dramatic.

i think the call from ron to tommy has been confirmed but not the reason for it. we don't know for a fact that he was calling tommy to look for misty.. that could just be another coverup to hide what he really wanted

Think I heard the ultimate of "logic" (not) yesterday.

"Ron could not be involved 'cause Junior told LE that he saw HaLeigh alive after RC went to work".

Don't ask for a source ... just thought I'd share.

In regards to the "I just woke up" comment from Misty, Ron could have asked her what took her so long to get to the MH. IMO I think it took all night just to find Misty and to get her to go over to the MH. Heck, she could have been at her parents house passed out. I imagine that he would have been pretty pizzzed off that Misty was not there and had not made the 911 call prior to him arriving on the scene. IMO Ron really did not want to be there when the call was made.

LOL...the 911 call is open to interpretation in its chopped up form. Some of the earlier releases are still available and some aren't. There were several versions with the background volume reduced and the foreground enhanced. I heard one version that was the opposite, and in that version you could hear clearly what was said in the background. I wish it was still available; I would like nothing more than to be able to link to it here.

I never heard anyone reference "...hope" but I did hear Misty say "god it's cold." Probably because they had a back door standing open...

Some heard "bleach cleaning" while others heard "been cleaning." I cannot hear anyone say "Neves" but others do. I have carpy speakers on my computer and the only way I was ever able to make out anything said in the background was on that one early version that had the full call (except for some LE redacation) with background enhanced. Unfortunately I can't provide a script because I can't link to the audio anymore.

With the versions that are available, it's all open to interpretation. Ten people can listen to the same tape and give eight or nine different interpretations. Throw into the fray all the nonsense splicings that were played on Nancy Grace and it's no wonder nothing in the call makes sense.

LOL, I've been dilligently searching for that audio as well. The one where the background is clearer. I think someone cleaned it up early in this case. I can't find it either.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh: Probably also has a very exaggerated imagination as well! Maybe "stretching the truth" might be appropriate description. LOL
