I agree LE may not have known about Magnolia on Day One but with due diligence would have have known long before the Shell Harbor search over a year after the crime. IOW, in time to search and retrieve evidence if any was there, IMO.

I remember the conversation where Tommy told Lisa of the search being conducted at Shell Harbor dock and surrounding area. I do not recall him saying the Magnolia home itself was being searched, only that the search area was such that the entire area was off limits to spectators to the point where there was no access to their former home. I think Lisa was surprised to hear the search was vast enough to make Magnolia Lane temporarily inaccessible to the public.

JMO, and I could be wrong.

Also, anyone recall when we first learned Misty was seen walking in the Shell Harbor area carrying something? Was it a black garbage bag? Anyone remember?

Because I do think there is some sort of human being in Ronald Cummings, along with probably being behind on the rent, I do think he did move out because his daughter died there. He had money rolling in after donations, he could have paid any back rent. Most fathers would want to stay in the house until their child comes home, because thats normal, but Ron got the heck out of there as soon as he could.

i absolutely agree. i've said this before- if haleigh could escape from her "abductor" she would run home first. no parent would leave the one place their kidnapped child would escape to

When I saw the Geraldo interview with Ron asking if he was involved with drugs and he got so defensive (a sure sign of guilt) And when TN, AS and the rest of the bunch gathered around (mob mentality ) I feel like TN's boyfriend "J" is heavily involved in whatever criminal activities this bunch was in. I find it strange that he didn't accompany TN to the trailer when Haleigh went missing. Was it left to him to dispose of the body? I think the whole Cummings family & "boyfriends" should be questioned and polygraphed. Where are Hank, Lisa and Lindsy now? Are they in Daytona Beach with TiC & CC?

I've been looking for the article that quoted the man saying he had seen Misty place a black trash bag in a trash container very near the SH dock at the time of Haleigh's disappearance, though IIRC he did not say it was the day of. The article mentioned the man's name and stated he resided in a home very close to the dock area. IIRC, his claim was made at the time of the April 2010 search. The question in my mind at the time was why did he wait for over a year to say he had witnessed this? Possibly he mentioned it early on and was ignored, or he didn't mention it back then because he didn't know it would be important. Or maybe he never saw this and was just trying to insert himself into the case...who knows.

I wonder what would have happened had TN actually been allowed to rent the former home of Tommy and Lindsy on Tyler. Would we have heard her crying over *evidence* she happened upon, either on the property or in the home? Like maybe a necklace, or a nebulizer...something else she could easily identify as Haleigh's? Could TN have had an ulterior motive for inquiring about renting that MH?

To search that house, wouldn't the LE have to show cause? Have we ever seen a copy of a search warrant for anything in this case? Was tn's property ever searched? I think not. WTH was all that construction on the $3,000 single wide about on Rita Lane? Still don't have any info on that place. Could be nothing but bugs the heck out of me. Who owns that single-wide and why construct a cement-floored attachment? Was it ever completed?

I know who owns all the land on Rita Lane but there is no 911 parcel for #105. So I guess it is just parked there by somebody and the cummings/neves have found it very desirable because Sykes, cummings (2) have been listed as supposedly living there for the past eight years. Crystal and Teresa have lived in Lady Lake since at least 2001. This tiny place must be a whole-in-the-wall or a storage place for the crowd.

For general discussion, when was that concrete slab layed at tn's place? I don't think TN would hide haleigh there but would like to rule out the possibility.

Misty may have been cleaning out the Magnolia house so her tossing out a black trash bag could be completely innocent. I always tossed out quite a bit of stuff whenever I moved. Usually I tossed it in the trash on the property, not down the road a block or two, but... to each his own...

Has tn, ron, gma ever spoken to a reporter about Haleigh missing any of gold jewelry? Gads, that family likes Gold. They draped it on Haleigh too.

I recall somebody saying that when (?) was taking Haleigh outta there, she ran back and got her necklace and put it around her neck. Boy, if that isn't a bombshell, what is? That statement went nowhere...along with the rest of the case.
