Couldn't misty talk away the black bag story due to Hank and Lisa vacating that house. The more I think about it that sure is lousy timing. Instead of looking for Haleigh, misty is helping move her mother and father from Magnolia.

To search that house, wouldn't the LE have to show cause? Have we ever seen a copy of a search warrant for anything in this case? Was tn's property ever searched? I think not. WTH was all that construction on the $3,000 single wide about on Rita Lane? Still don't have any info on that place. Could be nothing but bugs the heck out of me. Who owns that single-wide and why construct a cement-floored attachment? Was it ever completed?

first i'm hearing about a concrete construction, but i did read a book once about two little girls who got murdered and the murderer buried the girl and then poured cement over the hole.. he was supposedly building a hot tub and wanted to put her underneath it. i will have to find the book so i can reference it.

All of these people criss crossing amongst all these properties surely didn't go unnoticed by LE. Misty carrying a garbage bag anywhere would have gotten their attention, I would think. What a strange image...Misty just walking around with a bag. Maybe it was just garbage, but after those dumpster hits at the trailer, IDK. They seem like the kind of people who would deliberately scatter evidence all over the place. I doubt they put everything in a neat little pile somewhere. They seem like throw away people...out of sight, out of mind. just get it away from them & their immediate vicinity. MOO..

I can't find the article anymore either but it certainly was available at one time. Are you saying you also read the article, back when it was available?

I sometimes do not have great memory but I do remember reading that article. It's been a year though so I am not too surprised it is no longer available online.

Yes, I read the article. It came out about a year ago today, but had heard rumors before that. At least there is a name in the snip. If I remember correctly, the man moved that saw Misty carrying the trash bag and I don't think he could recall the exact day he saw her, just it being around the time Haleigh went missing.

When articles disappear, I get my hopes up that it's been pulled as evidence in the case. Then again, it could have been removed due to not being able to verify it as a fact.

One video we saw when Haleigh went missing was TN saying how hard Misty had partied for 3 days. That was within the first week or two. It's gone, zip, zilch, nada, no where.

I know who owns all the land on Rita Lane but there is no 911 parcel for #105. So I guess it is just parked there by somebody and the cummings/neves have found it very desirable because Sykes, cummings (2) have been listed as supposedly living there for the past eight years. Crystal and Teresa have lived in Lady Lake since at least 2001. This tiny place must be a whole-in-the-wall or a storage place for the crowd.

For general discussion, when was that concrete slab layed at tn's place? I don't think TN would hide haleigh there but would like to rule out the possibility.

I know I'm gonna take flack for this, but a poster gotta due what all posters here do....be curious and search.

I vaguely recall RC claiming 105 Rita Lane as his home address at one time or other. It could deal with one or more arrests, or was listed in a legal document or proceeding somewhere. Maybe various family members flop there whenever they are *between* residences. Or maybe they give that addy when they don't want to give their real addy for whatever reason.

I read somewhere that Green Lane had at least 5 garbage cans and waste all over the yard. And just think they were only there 3 months. I would love to see pics of the inside on Feb 10....

The term "Black Garbage Bag" keeps popping up, doesn't it? I'm convinced it is part of the case. I doubt the landfills were thoroughly checked.

agreed. The image I have of Misty with the bag, is that of a girl on a mission. That's just an opinion, obviously, but I see her as taking care of business during those early days. But, if she hadn't gotten back with Ron, I think everything would have come crumbling down. She got hard & clammed up. MOO.

Newly poured concrete at ANY residence associated with any of the people is a red flag for me. Something else to consider is if there is or was a well on or near the Rita Lane property.

Remember that letter a newspaper editor received claiming Haleigh was in a well or some such thing located a certain number of steps from a specific corner of the MH??? IIRC, it did not specifiy which MH...did it?

I do know that Cobra was talking at one time about a pair of jeans that looked like Misty's size, ripped with blood onthem in the garbage from that house. He was complaining at the time because the garbage had not been checked by LE.

One thing about the letter that "Scrubs" the mystery woman delivered for the older retired FBI man, was it said "the fathers house" basing it as a starting point to count steps. The father's house could have been Hank Sr.'s & Lisa's old house on Magnolia. Just saying...

I'm not thinking Haleigh is on Rita Lane. I would think though that LE should rule it out. And then we have Annette's property. I don't think she is there either. Where is she? We don't have a crime scene or one stick of evidence.

This whole case is just maddening, frustrating and futile. We few seem more concerned than the town itself.

An interesting tidbit..the woman who owns all the property (8 parcels)out there at Rita Lane used to live next door to AS when she lived on Beecher Springs. Is there some sort of agreement (whatever) that connects or gives pause of how they use this trailer and her land?

It peaked my curiousity because of the address placed on the incident report for that night. TN had never used that place as an address EVER. She finally calls it home as of March 2010 for the first time. Was she by some strange coincidence staying there that night or was she in Lady Lake where she legally resided?

My personal feeling (and I could be wrong) is that she gave that addy to match up with the 3:27 alert and 911. I would like to rule it out, if possible. That would certainly clear up my speculation that she may have been called earlier about Haleigh. My gut tells me she was called prior to the 911. How much earlier, I want to know.

It all ties up with knowing where TN was when she got the call. Why didn't she go and check on the kids herself instead of sending a "family member" to check? That alerts me that something was going on prior to 7:00pm which is about the time most place rc arriving at PDM.
