Halat, who had operated Frank's Barbershop at 59 Main St. since 1988, was fatally beaten at his shop April 1, 2011. The assault took place between 8 a.m. and 11:22 a.m., when police were alerted after a customer came into the shop and saw the barber face-down on the floor, unconscious and unresponsive.
