George and Cindy Anthonys Body Language and Comments Indicates They Are Feigning

O/t but i have never seen Lee shed a tear either. All i have seen from him is anger.I would like to know how he feels?

I see in that pic that lee is only wearing a pin for KC at Caylees so called "memorial". I wonder if he too was disassociated from Caylee like KC was..?

For the most part I like Dr. Lillian Glass' insight, but for crying out loud, she could have re-read what she wrote and/or used spell check. She also heavily mis-quoted some very well known statements like, "why is she already crying?" and "want me to bring the little snothead?". Am I being too nit-picky or does her latest blog post seem rushed and not thought out all that well?

P.S Sorry to be the negative one once again but GA is the one I feel the least sorry for. I think he's worse in the sense that he can garner sympathy even though he's just as much of a liar and cheat as KC and CA. He could stand up for Caylee and stand up for himself and be a man, but he chooses to live this lie and support his psychotic daughter and wife. Before his daughter took the innocent life of his granddaughter, he couldn't take care of himself and he leeched off of cindy's earnings...and blew it all away on gambling and/or scams. Now he's leeching off his murdered granddaughters blood money and that abomination they call a charity. Way to go jojo.

I just have no pity left for any of them...... sorry. I do not fault those that still do, however.

You're not being picky Reagan, the blog you posted is full of errors and misspellings. She's doing a poor job of passing herself off as an expert in her field. It's like reading a high school student's paper - a tenth grader to be exact.
I too am very shocked at George. He's done a 180. He testified at the Grand Jury, he was throwing up while discussing what he knew about the smell of a decomposing body with LE. He appears truly suspicious and upset when he is at the lot claiming the car, according to statements from Simon.
But, here he is today, sitting next to Cindy nodding in agreement about his daughter and how they believe in her 100 percent. When he attends these tv appearances with Cindy in support of Casey's innocence, I find him to be even worse than Cindy when you consider where he started when this case began to hit the news. Is Cindy that powerful over him, or is he just that weak?
Thanks for posting the blog.

So, you too believe she's had a lift? I was thinking more along a botox treatment. But, she does look different. She's had something done...anyone else have a guess? I am not sure though if figuring out what she's had done is exactly reading body language, is it? Never mind.

You know, when I saw the first images of Cindy from the hearing last Friday (after I got home that evening), the first thought that popped in my head is that she looked like she had had a facelift! I was going to post about it, but then second guessed myself as I know there are fine lines to TOS about posting about appearances, but just personally thought her face looked very similar (drastic change) as I noticed when Greta first revealed herself on her show after her dramatic facelift. It took me a while to get used to THAT new Greta, as the image I had in my mind was seeing her daily during the OJ trial (a very different looking Greta than today!)

It was the tightness in the jaw/temple area going to forehead that led to me to think that perhaps she had some touch up done. Perhaps she tried that new fangled "no cutting" plastic surgery that seems to have cropped up!

I remember watching Cindy on Nancy Grace the same day the police were searching the backyard, I think it was Fri. July 18, 2008. It was the first of Cindy's many interviews.

After it was over, I told my husband that something was wrong with the way Cindy was acting. I have children and grandchildren, and if one of them were missing, I would be BEGGING the kidnapper to please return them. I would be crying, out of control, red-faced with tears streaming down my face and snot coming out of my nose. Every one of my 60 years would show on my face. The strain and terror I would be feeling would cause me to shake uncontrollably.

But Cindy was just very matter of fact: Caylee's missing and we're confident she'll be returned to us very soon (or words similar, I'm not quoting). Call us if you have any idea where she is, etc.

Cindy and George already knew the truth - Caylee had been decomposing in the trunk of Casey's car. They both knew exactly what they smelled when the Pontiac was picked up.

So the only thing left was damage control.

when Maddy was abducted in Portugal & her mother was criticized for being stoic, I remember reading that parents are coached to stay calm & try not to show emotion during their first public plea as it's the best way to get their child back unharmed

I also recall reading about this in other cases, like Tori Stafford's

now, we the public want to see emotion, we want to empathize with the family but apparently the police or whoever don't want the abductor to see emotion

having said that however, I still agree there's something wrong with her

:waitasec:

If it were not for the fact that we have two parents who've covered for most all their daughter's transgressions in the past, and of which some are criminal, I could understand them being a voice for their daughter's innocence, due to so many calling for Casey's head, and even if those parents didn't actually believe in her innocence. I could then say that public opinion moved them into the position of having to speak out, to be one of the few voices for their daughter in an attempt to balance lopsided public opinion.

But when a parent or parents proclaim their daughter's innocence, and have to resort to and rely upon deceit to do so, then the public's criticism of them is well deserved.

excellent post!

Busted!

So this reinforces my firm belief that CA and GA are doing more harm than good by their media appearances even though they are doing a good job of following BCs advice.[/QUOTE]

Your comment confuses me cyberborg......Why would BC be giving them advice to go on these shows and making fools of themselves? Isn't he supposed to be their atty and therefore looking out for their best interests? help.......

I'm wondering if they have signed an agreement re photos, videos, future hour long specials, etc., that Brad is administering, and included in that is a number of morning news show appearances. Thoughts??

I didn't think she had one either and thought botox until I looked at her again. The jawline and cheekbones do look very smooth and tight. Maybe she did have one of those lifelifts or whatever they're called.

So, do any of you guys think that G and C drop the act when they're home? It seems like so much of their denial is based on their obsession with appearance and image to outsiders. But say like, after coming back from the Today Show and they come in, let the dogs out, unpack, turn on the tv, etc, do you think they actually talk about KC being guilty, or do you think it's like some unspoken disgusting thing in the room, like a fart in church, or do you think they're in denial with each other, too and just talk like she's innocent?

Do you think they sit around and strategize, or talk like Casey's innocent, or fight over whose turn it is to wash dishes? I'm ashamed to admit it, but I'd probably pay money to hear what they talk about in private.

[bbm]

btw, I tend to think they're mostly in denial with each other too & I would bet
several paychecks they strategize at home

I feel bad for GA though, 'cause I think he had an epiphany way back when he made that little trip to the motel but b/c it would've (literally) killed him to deal with it, CA helped him crawl back under his shell & he's been there ever since

They've also stopped wearing green. Or at least CA used to wear it a lot.

I'm pretty sure Cindy got a look at herself in the Morgan depositions and/or seen the frames of her "grinch" look and swore never to wear that shade of green again.

Note to Casey,
This is what real grief looks like.

omg
that is sobering
I feel bad now for making any jokes at their expense

I know what you mean, BUT remember your feelings only show that YOU recognize and feel for the pain in others. It really doesn't change that George hurts AND lies. George hurts and supports Casey. George hurts and refuses to stand up for justice for Caylee.

I felt horrible when I saw that picture. I am so sorry for his pain. AND I am so sorry George won't stand up and do the right thing.

Thanks for the picture, Eidetic. Sometimes I need a reminder that Caylee does have people that grieve for her, other than us. I always felt that GA was the only one in the family who had a degree of humanity about him. Another poster mentioned that she felt CA's demeanor was off the first time she appeared on NG (I'm paraphrasing). ITA. I remember her telling NG to "go easy" on her because she hadn't slept much. However, she proceeded to give a lengthy interview and did not beg the "kidnappers" to return Caylee. I immediately thought that she was pandering for the cameras and enjoyed being in the limelight.

I sure does. There was another pic of GA with his head on the steering wheel of his car right after she was arrested. I have no idea how to find it now. But it spoke volumes too.

yeah I'm gonna have to walk away for a few minutes ... that's emotional, esp. remembering my own daughter's funeral

ack, this is supposed to be a body language thread & I'm straying off-topic

well, GA's body language in that pic is pure grief, that's for sure
might take a century for me to figure out anyone else's

George and Cindy are co-dependent on each other. Both of them are dependent on the role the other one plays. George needs Cindy to be the one who earns the income, takes care of the finances, home, children and probably all major and minor life decisions. Cindy needs George to make her feel in control, authoratative, intelligent, needed, powerful and wanted. I don't blame them for this. I don't think either one is putting up with the other, it's mutual.

I found the article linked in the first post of this thread fascinating. I've watched G&C since July 2008 and always thought something was so off about their behavior. Lately I've been looking at the earliest news clips on this story I could find and it's so amazing that from the very first appearances Cindy came across as so odd and people were commenting on it.

One thing that has always bothered me about Cindy speaking was how often she mixed up Casey and Caylee's names. I know this happens sometimes but she does it so often, I always thought there had to be some psychological reason. I found this part of the blog interesting:

"SAYING “CASEY” WHEN SHE MEANS “CAYLEE” AND VICE VERSA

There is also something that Cindy did on the Today show which she has done numerous times- saying Caylee when she means Casey and vice versa. She often collapses and confuses the name of her daughter with her granddaughter. In doing so it appears that she is collapsing and confusing her love and the innocence of her granddaughter on to her daughter. The bottom line is that is disconcerting and clearly shows what is going on in her mind."

There was a time in George's deposition for the civil lawsuit when he got upset with John Morgan for mixing up Casey and Caylee's name. He seemed very sanctimonious and it annoyed me so much because I was thinking "whoa, wait a minute, Cindy does it all the time!" Now I wonder if that's why it bothered George so much. He was so tired of Cindy doing it.

I also recall her telling Greta to go easy on her for the same reason...that she had not had much sleep.

Wow that's a great observation, and I bet you're right!

Like you, I too like Dr. Lillian Glass' insight, but I also agree with your assessment of the many errors in her blog. I do think she should do better research of the details of her subject as well as use a spell checker and a proof reader. A blog written with so many errors is hard to read and a lot of her excellent points could be missed.

As for GA, I'm afraid I also have a very negative view of him. IMO, He is a liar, a thief, a con artist, a moocher, a weak wimp, a chameleon, a manipulator, and most of all, a loser! IOW, he's a total carbon copy of KC -- or rather, KC is a total carbon copy of GA. I'm undecided on how much of KC's behavior is due to nature or nurture. And this is just my opinion only from my own observation.

IMO, GA gave the impression in the beginning of being an ok guy because of his interviews with LE early on. I was even hoodwinked for a while too. But later, after seeing GA's chameleon nature, I realized that was what he was doing during his interviews with LE. He was simply morphing himself into the type of person with whom he was dealing at the time.
