George & Cindy's Response to "NO DEATH PENALTY" Decision

  • #241
The pants and hairbrush were given to LE voluntarily without a subpoena. quote]

Above quote snipped. I'm catching up on this thread and don't know yet whether this was addressed. Cindy offered to bring the pants to LE when they asked. Not only did she not bring the pants to LE, she would not answer their phone calls or return messages. LE had to get a search warrant to retrieve them. IIRC, LE stated in the last doc dump, that this was another example of the Anthony's not being forthcoming to them. I'm pretty sure LE knows much more than we do, so you have to ask what "another" example(s) of not being forthcoming is LE referring to? Fact, LE states that the Anthony's have not been forthcoming in more than one instance. I can't ignore that.

Now that they no longer have to worry about the DP, they can all relax.

No more pesky toddler to run after. No more lying, stealing daughter to bankrupt them.

Things should be nice and peaceful in the A home now. Plus there is another Grandbaby on the way! Isn't LA's gf pg?

I read Mallory was pregnant on a local Orlando board. I also read a message posted from her Mother allegedly to Casey who she 'knew read there' blaming her for the fact Mallory had ended her relationship with Lee. Smart move on her part if true IMHO.

Wow! This case gets crazier and crazier. Do you happen to have a link and page number to this?

Sheesh, they didn't give her much time, did they? According to the search warrant, Cindy told them about the washed pants on 8/4. The warrant was issued on 8/5. Were they calling her in the middle of the night or what?

With the videos aside, I still go with what Lee told LE in his early interviews when Cindy came in the room and said " What have you done." to Casey. Cindy knew and knows what Casey is capable of. And the video's are very telling that Cindy knows that Caylee is dead and they are over 3 months old. How her and George can even show faces in public is beyond me.

ITA. CA and GA knew once they smelled the car. IMO, Cindy knew but was in denial and didn't put two and two together until right before she made that "smells like a dead body" 911 call. GA didn't count on CA freaking out and calling 911. GA had business to attend to, whether it was going to work or "taking care of business", he tried to placate CA by telling her it was rotten pizza. Once the 911 call was made, I feel GA let CA in on what the deal was and they went into save KC's butt mode at that point.

I'll have to recheck, but I think Yuri's interview is where he asked for the pants on June 30th? And the FBI was on 8-4.

That would be interesting to know, because it's Yuri who wrote in the search warrant that Cindy told them about the pants on 8/4.

Apparently they gave her too much time because she had already washed them. Was there anything else in the car that they took care of that LE doesn't know about?

Just for my own sanity, do you know where that is in the 700 pages? Because I would like to be clear on that too.

I would guess that some people with a missing 2 year old are open to contact from authorities, around the clock. It's not like they are in happy dreamland and all is well with the world. Some are frantic for any and all contact from LE.
"TELL US SOMETHING!"

Doc #1, page 16 of the docs released on 11-27-08 references the pants. It states that Cindy had already washed them, so Yuri knew about the pants from July 16/17.

Thanks! Do we know specifically what date Yuri asked for the pants?

You don't think if you smelled a car which smelled like a "damn dead body" that you would have left it intact until the police were called?

How did they know it was NOT KC dead with all she had one in the past? They KNEW it was Caylee or they would not have gone in search of KC and would have called LE immediately.

That is where the cover up started and it has gone on until this day.

You would think George would have freaked out and called 911 immediately!

Why wouldn't he think first that KC might be dead since she was the driver
of the car and maybe also Caylee?

They could both have been victims of a crime!

You are right---some how they seemed to know it was Caylee who was dead
and they franticly went into cover-up mode.

Cindy covers for Casey, it's what she does. It seems most of us agree Cindy and George take enabling to a whole new level, and were doing this long before Caylee was murdered.
The topic of Cindy being the first to hold Caylee and Casey's resentment over it have been brought up time and again.
I don't think it is a big stretch, considering what I have seen of this family's dynamics, for Cindy to ask Casey for info on the nanny, getting stalled, and if she pushes, little ms. princess perp throwing a hissy fit, throwing up how Cindy held Caylee first, how she is trying to take over, etc. etc., whereupon Cindy, being the martyred co-dependent soul she is, would drop it.
Lanie

I can totally see that happening....

You're welcome :) I don't know off the top of my head, I'd have to go through all the docs again. But I think our point has been made about Cindy, and that she did everything in her power to not turn the pants over. If other posters want to prove their point about dates, they can provide the rest of us with a link supporting their opinion. IMO.

Ya! And he drove the car to his house knowing a dead body had been in it. Then proceeded to take things from it. Or he instructed CA to anyways. It blows my mind. The only people I know who would do that is a murderer or someone who's covering up for a murderer.

We were speaking about the dates Yuri had ASKED Cindy to provide the pants, prior to him being forced get a subpeona to get them from her.
