Zimmerman looking at his father..oh how sad!

oh after recess zimmerman will answer if he will take the stand.

All this proves to me is that GZ cared about his neighbors. That he was a good neighbor and involved in the neighborhood.

This case has completely fallen apart for me. I listen to each witness hoping that state is going to make some point that proves their case. But they do not. They seem to personally attack the witnesses, even their own and then make nonsense out of it.

I wanted so much to see proof that GZ killed TM with some kind of willfullness.

I don't see it.

I wanted to.. But I don't.

Demeanor definitely subdued by the attorneys now isn't it?

I agree that a thorough investigation is in order. If Mr. Martin ambushed Mr. Zimmerman, and tried to do him grievous bodily harm, and GZ defended himself in the only way that could be effective of someone who did not have a hope against someone the size and stamina (because of his youth) of TM, then a fair outcome would be to acquit George Zimmerman, in my opinion.

It has been repeatedly testified to that GZ was not very fit or athletic, nor was he particularly good at defending himself. If Mr. Martin attacked him by coming at George in the dark, punching him, bashing his head repeatedly into the concrete, while he was sitting astride Mr. Zimmerman, George may have had no other choice than to shoot him in order to escape, in my opinion.

If George Zimmerman is innocent, which I believe he is, he deserves to be acquitted, omo.

If it was found that he killed Trayvon Martin with malice aforethought, then he should be found guilty, and the highest penalty given. As I've said before, I'm not a death penalty person, but if I thought that GZ killed TM maliciously, I'd be all for stringing him up!

What we're looking for are the facts, as close as we can get them, and a fair trial. :twocents:

Hear, hear, a fair trial we must have indeed! This is why I think the more the trials' details and evidence are made known and debated, the more transparent the process, the better it is for us all. It already takes a lot of heat off the streets, IMO.:seeya:

Three streets in the neighborhood and after a few years of patrolling and you don't know where you are, I find that questionable. IMO

That's really putting it nicely, particularly after we've seen the farce re-enactment video, where GZ himself right in front of a street number he says isn't even there. Some of his tales are cringe making. IMO

GZ wasn't back at his car either, what was he doing at the T after he hung up from NE dispatcher? He had plenty of time to get back to his car, he, too was looking for TM, IMO. He was the one who pursued TM from the get go, not the other way around.
Right, and where his truck was parked cleary showed the address so going looking for an address is bogus statement IMO

I think we all knew that. Very quickly, LE realize Zimmerman shot in self-defense.

Just like very often they decide that in other cases, or decide a parent probably had nothing to do with the disappearance of a child, etc.

IMHO

Very quickly = Too quickly, IMO = Rush to judgement = Shoddy investigation = LE Fail = MOO

I don't wish to be disrespectful, but from what I've observed and heard of GZ throughout entire proceedings, he doesn't appear present at his own trial.
imo

Anybody think GZ will take the stand? He seem not to have his wits about him so I'm guessing no. MOO

  • #833
GZ went to her house 20 times, brought her a lock etc...

Yet, he didn't know the name of the street? I call BS. JMO

Actually when you know a neighborhood, you usually just know landmarks or houses and no need to learn street names. I know exactly where things are but couldn't tell you street names. I think most of us are that way. So there is no BS....

I don't wish to be disrespectful, but from what I've observed and heard of GZ throughout entire proceedings, he doesn't appear present at his own trial.

What it says to me is that he is completely respectful of the system, stands to be identified but as a rule he is really a mild tempered guy...

I agree with what you are saying, but no one saw this from beginning to end. I'm having a hard time knowing a 17 year old is now dead after coming home from the store armed with Skittles/drink doing nothing wrong except taking his time getting home to watch a game on tv. What I find upsetting his he's being watched by an armed man who takes it upon himself to follow him. TM ran, twice and GZ pursued after him. We have limited amounts of evidence to show and all of these evidence is all about GZ it seems, his words, his actions, his statements but the one who has the worse injury of all is TM, a shot in the heart. GZ started and ended this. No one knows if GZ didn't push TM first and TM struck back.

Oh my... tweets and NG appearance. That's not good.

Doesn't change a thing. She and her baby were victims of intruders and thieves. The fact that she talked about this home invasion by tweets, or on tv, or to anyone is pretty understandable. Most people who have been traumatized DO talk about it. It helps them feel like they're not alone and they can "talk it out" to help deal with the feelings of helplessness and wrestle some control over it not happening again.

GZ was not irresponsible with his firearm. He took the course and carried it correctly. He did not abuse his ownership. No proof of that.

I would call killing a young man coming home from the store is very irresponsible.

  • #838
no way should he take the stand imo, the risk far outweighs the reward.

IS that your opinion? because that is not the facts of the case.

  • #840
what are the three names of the streets in there? just wondering imo
