Of course there's circumstantial evidence. Why would someone attack another person while yelling "get off, get off?" That makes zero sense. So that indicates right there that GZ may have started the altercation.

As far as direct evidence, there's also no direct evidence that TM attacked GZ first. Failing to prove this doesn't mean the state has failed entirely. It simply means no one knows for certain who started the altercation. But we do know who instigated it, who pursued, who armed himself with deadly force, and who used that force against an unarmed teenager. If self-defense, it's still imperfect self-defense, and that means manslaughter. IMO, that means jail time for GZ. I find it incredibly difficult to believe that a jury wouldn't hold him accountable for his irresponsible actions that night.

The State has to prove that GZ assaulted TM first. If not, there is no case for murder or manslaughter. That's the law.

A force hitting you in the face will slam your head backwards into the ground.
defense witness testifies a bump on the head can kill you, and cut your skin on a hard flat surface. I believe his head hit the water cover, or even his flashlight in the grass, or rock in the grass, or just the dirt.

GZ had a "U" shaped mark on the back of his head that looked like an impression from the water meter cover. It is clear in one of the photos of his head and can be matched up with the photo of the water meter cover.

I strongly support the RIGHT to defend myself ... and usually, when "something happens," LE is usually not around to see it ...

JMO but IF I'm in danger, I'm going to do what I have to do to defend myself AND defend myself with a weapon of MY choice ... I'm not going to wait for LE to show up because I could be "gone" by that time ...

I'm obviously not DGC, but I think I understand where she's coming from. My neighbors were the victims of a home invasion last year and, ever since then, everyone in the neighborhood has been keeping a more watchful eye, on the look-out for folks that we don't recognize, in an effort to keep our neighborhood safer.

He got right up after the shot- recoil.
That's why blood runs down, not back from any punch to the face.
Which no evidence on Trayvon's hands proves Trayvon didn't make that injury on his face. What did? No punch to the face, no attack.

The gun isn't big enough to cause multiple cuts on the back of his head, and the side of his head, split his lip, cause damage to the side of his mouth, split his lip on the front of his mouth, and break his nose.
I haven't seen that much damage even from a 10 guage shotgun, or a 30.06, and those actually kick!

This is a killing of an unarmed teenager. You do not "embellish" to LE, that is a LIE! It's perjury and interference with an investigation.

As someone who has had a lot of dental work, I certainly do believe that.

If a stranger attacked me in the dark and did to me what dentists have done to me in their offices, I'd feel justified to use deadly force.

That screaming wasn't "get off" the screaming was "Help".. Get off were words that RJ heard and said they were from TM..

I wrote down her exact words last night. She said ALMOST by his Daddy's fiance's house when being questioned by Bernie, right before her testimony of GET OFF. JMO

I agree, even in his walk through all I see are two bandages, nothing more. I see no swelling, no black and blue bruises, he's up walking and talking not in the hospital bed or even in his own bed with a major headache, but able to go to school and focus on his studies. I don't get it????? My own husband fell on our concrete steps, just once his face hit the steps and he ended up in the emergency, face swollen, black and blue bruises all around his eyes, broken tooth and was in bed the next day in pain and he only hit once, not multiple times like GZ claims. I don't get it.

IDK. Everyone wants to go on and on about Trayvon's size, his strength, his football experience, his history of fighting, then expect us to look at George's injuries of these tiny scratches that were scabbed over by the end of the night (IMO) and believe that they were caused by this large kid/adult slamming his head into the concrete and punching him repeatedly in the face. That just does not fly, IMHO. I know, no evidence it DIDN'T happen so just take George's word for it, blah blah blah. But it defies logic.

IMO, this should be manslaughter. IMHO MOO OMO AMO and so forth.

And if he did kill Zimmerman, he could have argued that he was standing his ground. FL laws seem to work that way. Whoever wins a fight could argue self-defense.

Yes I have heard that used in that way,but in this case there was a concern from RJ and TM that GZ may have been a pervert and that was why he was watching Trayvon.

imo, that was 1000% fabrication to cover for the fact that Trayvon is the only one of the two that used a racial slur.
