do you mean this witness??
"Witness 6

This witness lived a few feet from where Trayvon and Zimmerman had their fight. On the night of the shooting, he told Serino he saw a black man on top of a lighter-skinned man "just throwing down blows on the guy, MMA-style," a reference to mixed martial arts.

He also said the one calling for help was "the one being beat up," a reference to Zimmerman.

But three weeks later, when he was interviewed by an FDLE agent, the man said he was no longer sure which one called for help.

"I truly can't tell who, after thinking about it, was yelling for help just because it was so dark out on that sidewalk," he said.

He also said he was no longer sure Trayvon was throwing punches. The teenager may have simply been keeping Zimmerman pinned to the ground, he said.

He did not equivocate, though, about who was on top.

"The black guy was on top," he said."

there have been a lot of changes in all these witnesses stories as time goes on, plus it was dark and he was looking out a window - all doors were shut

the problem w/ shooting TM on top of GZ, even if TM falls forward, GZ would still have to roll the body off him to get up, imo i do not see an explanation of how any one can be shot like this and end up face down

Exactly and it has been shown that it was Zimmerman who was training in MMA style fighting, not Martin.

i just posted, up, he changed his story saying it look like he was just trying to pin him, and didn't see hin being punched

Well we will see when he testifies. I am more apt to believe the first version of the story.. the one before more thought went into it.

Or they could be pressured to change it.

It is so nice to not to have to listen to endless blabber. These lawyers seem to be concise in the questioning and do not repeat the same question multiple times.

This is so refreshing after listening to Nurmi for weeks on end.

While there were no witnesses to the initiation of the confrontation, there were several witnesses at the end and none saw Zimmerman rearranging anything. So I'm not sure where this notion arrives from.

what witnesses are there of the actual shooting??? police didn't arrive til afterwards, GZ even had enuff time to take a pic of the body on his cell phone - so who else was watching or there when the shot went off?

I wonder too. I also would think there would be blood from the wound immediately pour directly onto George if he shot him while TM was on top of him.

It seems to me that blood would immediately pour directly down due to gravity and if George is claiming TM was on top of him, then where is the blood on Georges front shirt or clothes like I would expect to see?

I really wish there were better eye witnesses to the actual shooting part and struggling parts.

iirc the bullet went into his aorta and then his lung. Both his left and right sides of his chest filled up with over 1000cc of blood. He filled up with blood he didn't bleed out of his body.

To add to your point, head wounds and bloody noses bleed SO bad. If GZ really had a broken nose and was pummeled as he states, there would be blood everywhere, including all over his clothes. JMO

I thought that too but as I wondered more about it- gz was lying on the ground on his back and the blood would seem by gravity to roll down the back of the throat- within time blood clots. Head wounds pressed against the ground would seal or help to stop more profuse bleeding.

And then of course if you stood up and felt something dripping off your nose it seems you might wipe it off or suck it up to keep from it dripping- logical anyway.

That's not quite what he says. He says he doesn't remember and can't say for sure if he was throwing punches or not. It wasn't definitive one way or the other.

I'm thinking the hoodie and t-shirt or whatever he had on under it would have soaked up the blood.

Was watching the pics of GZ's head and face......I've had my nose broken twice in my lifetime. The area around my eyes went black and blue, and my eyelids drooped. My nose and area around my eyes went red immediately. Both times I was bleeding from my nose.
Not buying the "broken nose"... and I'm not seeing the "road rash" on the back of the head. When someone is pounding the back of your head into the concrete, you're head doesn't just smack straight into the concrete unless you're unconscious. You're struggling and you'd have more of abrasion type wounds. I also don't see any marks where TM would have gripped GZ's head to drive it into the concrete. JMO.

I started watching this case and wanted to have an open mind. I must admit that from what I heard from the media and not keeping an open mind when watching this on the media I really did not like GZ and was convinced he was guilty of murder. After watching the trial so far I see evidence that to me proves that TM was on top of GZ. TM's body was face down when he was discovered at the scene which to me tells me he was on top of GZ. I do, however, feel that GZ did go to far in pursuing TM which I feel he should not have done, but I am starting to feel bad for GZ and am not sure I believe he did this out of anger. This is the first trial I am watching with a complete open mind and am listening to all the evidence before I can make a concrete opinion. moo

There were several 911 callers that called before or after the shot was fired, and reported what they saw. Some even went on to various news shows and recounted their version of events. None stated they saw Zimmerman moving bodies, rearranging anything, or doing anything but pacing around.

then why didn't George use his MMA style on Trayvon?

He clearly was not looking for a confrontation that night. (Zimmerman)

Why use your gun when you can use MMA style as well?

That witness that says he saw GZ on the bottom has changed parts of his story, so why should the jury believe any of his testimony? It was dark, and he couldn't really see what was going on. Completely inconclusive and unreliable testimony.

How long does it take to roll a person over? He definitely could have rolled the body over very quickly before anyone saw him...again, it was dark.

Zimmerman was a self-proclaimed vigilante who took his "duties" way too far and should be found guilty.

He didn't, there is NO evidence that he did this out of anger or anything else.

The prosecution are lying their rears off.

So you think he called the police, and then found Martin, pinned him down, shot him point blank in the chest, and proceeded to "fix" the scene to fit the story of self-defense? For what purpose? And you honestly believe someone trying so hard to not get caught would call the police and risk being seen on top of someone, and then shooting them?

How, also, do you explain the lack of injuries to Zimmerman's hands, and the facial/head wounds he sustained if he was the primary aggressor?

Bull ****...

"****ing punks...they always get away"

Words uttered by GZ...there isn't any anger or frustration there at all...give me a break

I think GZ did use his MMA lessons and experience that night before he shot Martin. The other guy kept changing who was who and who did what.

I firmly believe that Martin was on his back when Zimmerman shot him and that Martin rolled over in a protective reflex and grabbed his frontal wound.
