3. He was a kid just walking home from 7/11

There's a big time gap between the time it would have taken for someone to walk to the store and right back and the time it took Trayvon. He was doing something other than just walking home. Maybe he was doing nothing except standing around. But he wasn't walking straight there and back.

Someone following you and watching you from a distance to see what you're doing and where you're going is most certainly stalking. What else do you call it? Casual observation? He was determined not to let him out of his sight.

George is not being charged for stalking

:floorlaugh:
Some of us believe (based on his 911 call) that it is possible he was planning to do exactly that -- but Trayvon ran.

No way GZ would have outright murdered TM.

Someone please check the age of the child that was left at home and post a link. I believe it was reported he was 7.. JMO

He is currently 15. Testimony at link around 4:00.

and this "kid" was just standing in the pouring rain, not looking like he was in any hurry to get back to the place where he was a guest at.

JMO

Why should he be in a hurry? He has every right to walk at his own pace, especially if he were talking on his phone. He, I'm sure wasn't thinking he would be followed, sometimes a person doesn't think there is danger right out the gate, but apparently TM didn't like GZ watching him therefore he ran, but maybe he thought he was in the clear of GZ and didn't feel the need to run all the way home. However it is, GZ got out of his car to "find" him, no need to do that, let the police do it, and GZ knew the police were on their way so why would he follow TM?

I don't have a link...but that young man on the stand first yesterday was not only 8 years old. He can't be! LOL!!

He looked like a young teen.

He is the one who the skittles were for.

It is not stalking, per Florida law. I've already posted the statute.

I gotta say, this is a bad witness and I have stopped listening to her.

Are all the states witnesses going to be like this? Because they are not helping the state at all.

I guarantee you the State's star witness, Rachel ("Dee Dee") will be.

you can look her up online if you want.

Because he wanted to be a hero, he wanted to be law enforcement in the worst way. It's why he lied and said the HOA wanted him ...to start up the neighborhood watch.

That doesn't add up. GZ didn't know when LE would arrive, what if LE would of got there before the confrontation? What if LE saw him running with the gun? If he wanted to be such a hero, why bother called LE to begin with then?

This is the second witness that said something for the first time in court and said they were never asked before.

Not sure if today's witness was deposed by the State. But the one yesterday was. Wonder why De La Rionda didn't ask Selene about the movement "left to right" when he had the chance.

Great point by Schaeffer, this witness based who was on top and bottom based on what she saw in the news, the same pictures initially where the news showed a bigger GZ and a very young TM.

That's an excellent point. I remember the first photos the media showed of TM were of when he was much younger (and smaller). Then later, when I saw more current photos of him, I was surprised at the size difference.

I think the Defense is gambling by asking which photo(s) of TM she saw in the media, unless they already know which photo(s) she saw.

She decided that TM was smaller based on that pic of TM where he looks to be 12.

Way to impeach her, O'Mara.

I'm sorry is there something illegal about not being in a hurry? Especially since he was on the phone. Perhaps he was into his phone call.

Zimmerman is not hiding anything.

Sorry, but stated as a fact, it won't wash. He has changed his stories on numerous occasions as well as hiding info regarding his ability to pay bail.

How does anyone know that? He was on the phone talking to that girl at the time too, I would imagine you might tend to walk slower while having a conversation with someone, stopping occasionally even under some kind of shelter from the rain. Or maybe he was trying to lose the person who was following him by taking a different path.

She's quite the piece of work. I hope they call her!

Jayne Surdyka heard three shots so I wonder what else George Zimmerman is hiding? Perhaps GZ shot at him three times and only managed to hit him once or two of the shots were " warning shots?"

We have all heard the 911 recording. There was only 1 shot. :seeya:

Police found a single shell casing at the scene, and when they seized George Zimmerman's handgun, a Kel Tec 9 mm, its magazine was full, according to a source close to the investigation. The only bullet missing was the one in the chamber, the source said.
