If someone gets his head bashed into a concrete sidewalk, they will not be getting up and will suffer from some sort on concussion as well as losing consciousness.

We can go into a laundry list of things that gun owners should or should not go to class on (like leaving an unsecured gun where a child can shoot themselves) but that is a different debate and TBH doesn't belong in this thread.

Same old shoulda coulda argument that solves nothing.

That's not true. How many times have you seen someone fall off bike or other reason to hit the sidewalk, and they get right up and have blood streaming down their face?

People get their heads bashed a LOT without losing consciousness.

Top of The Day, All,
I much enjoyed Nancy Grace's review of some of yesterday's court testimony on HLN last evening.

She emphasized the importance of the Architect/Designer's testimony which identified GZ as the individual on top during the struggle. I feel that since the woman is accustommed to paying great attention to detail in her profession , that her observation is worthy and accurate. She accurately described GZ's apparel of a red and black jacket.

It all depends on how hard it is being hit each time.

I certainly agree since GZ's statement emphasized his head was so terribly bashed that he greatly feared he was about to die. His minor scratches are not in the least consistant with his extremely dramatic claim. People who have had their heads bashed to any degree on hard surfaces sustain deep gashes, profuse bleeding and usually pass out for at least a few seconds.:moo:

It's a scandalous shame he wasn't tested for drugs and alcohol immediately after the murder.

What was the point of that?

John!!

This witness should be interesting.

  • #32
Does anyone have a link to the witness list? TIA!

Just an observation: DT said that GZ writes with his left and yet shoots with his right. Today, I see he wears his watch on his left. That is the way right-handed people wear a watch, typically.

Yes, and he writes with his left.

John Good is up...let's see if his story has changed.

Which witness is this?

This is basically the closest eyewitness to the fight. He's also the one that identified that TM was on top at some point.

He seems a little hostile to the prosecution. Maybe he's just nervous.

This witness is John, he is the one who saw TM on top of GZ pounding his head in into the ground and then said he was going to call 911.

And the defense is going to get him to admit that he changed his testimony, IIRC.

He changed his testimony? Why? Was he threatened?

I do believe that TM was on top at one point, I don't believe he was through the whole thing...
