George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #6

This is exactly what has me puzzled. I am assuming GZ was not a passive participant in this altercation. I would have expected GZ to complain of neck/shoulder pain when he sought medical attention. His injuries, IMO, look more consistent to those sustained in a fight or struggle. The injuries are not consistent with someone's head being pounded on cement.

I have not heard all of GZ statements. Has GZ stated what he did to fight back? Punches, knee to the groin of TM, biting of TM hands(when covering his mouth), extrication from TM? I can't imagine GZ just laid there allowing himself to be beaten up. :seeya:

Zimmerman claims that he used his hands and arms to try and keep Trayvon from hitting him in the face, banging his head on the cement and then when he felt Trayvon slide his hand down towards his gun (that he forgot he was even wearing BTW) used his arm or hand to pinch Trayvon's arm and then grabbed the gun and shot Trayvon. There has been no claims of using his knees, legs or feet against Trayvon as far as I know.

Proof of this is in the walk through with LE day after the shooting and the interview with LE done at the Sanford Police Department the day after the shooting when the "voice stress test" was also done.

If Trayvon did run, would GZ have followed him? IMO, most likely.

Even if he had followed a running TM, he probably wouldn't have caught up with him. JMO. OMO. MOO.

IMO there is a huge problem with Zimmerman being so afraid of Trayvon that he had to shoot him to "survive", especially when one listens to the walk through with LE and sees the following..........

@13:20 on the tape.......
"so I don't know if I pushed him off me or if he fell off me, either way I got on top of him and I pushed his arms apart and I said don't.........(LE asks) Did you flip him over? (Zimmerman says) I don't remember how I got on top of him I'm sorry. But I got on his back and I moved his arms apart because when he was repeatedly hitting me in the face and in the head I thought he had something in his hands. So I just moved his hands apart uh.........(LE asks) But you had him face down then? (Zimmerman says) He was face down and I was on his back and then somebody came along with a flashlight and I thought it was a police officer. So I said are you the police? And I still had my handgun out and I told him are you the police? My gun's right here. And he goes no, no I'm not. I'm phoning the police and I said don't call the police help me restrain this guy. And he said I'm calling the police, I'm calling the police and I said I already called they're on the way, they're coming, I need your help. And then is when the police officer came around and I saw the police officer and I stood up and I holstered my weapon.............."

So we have Zimmerman who claims that he did not know that he had actually shot Trayvon and that he did not know Trayvon was dead and he is spreading his arms apart looking for a weapon in Trayvon's hands while he is still holding his own gun in his hand. So Zimmerman felt safe enough to search for a weapon in the hands of a young man that he thought was alive and uninjured with his own gun in his hand that could have easily been taken out of his own hand and used on him???? To me that makes no sense whatsoever and IMO points to Zimmerman knowing that he had in fact shot and killed Trayvon when he was on Trayvon's back with his gun in his hand.

Thanks for Zimmerman's own account...so there you have it, one of the biggest fabrications I have ever heard in a court of law /murder case / reenactment. IMO

He is smooth but I think the jury will be able to see right through him. So many of the things he relates are humanly impossible, to say the least. IMO

No no no not @ all to shame, embarrass..To get information. I found the testimony long, difficult, and it was obvious Ms Jeantel didn;t want to be there. But then again, she was an important witness. and information is needed.

I'm curious about what information you believe she could offer. IMHO, she has so very little to offer - she heard virtually nothing, and is unreliable about reporting it truthfully.

I'm really interested - do you believe there's more she heard that she hasn't told?

Yeah. They've been turning the state's witnesses on a regular basis. JMO. OMO. MOO.

No one has said it shouldn't be investigated. It was investigated. There was no evidence to contradict GZ's story. There is still no evidence to contradict GZ's story. This case should never have gone to trial and if AC hadn't bypassed a Grand Jury it probably wouldn't have. JMO. OMO. MOO.

In that respect, GZ got lucky. He only real witness is dead.

Someone claimed that GZ was not athletic, I thought it was mentioned in one of the previous threads, he had practiced MMA for about 5 months at the time of the murder.

CNN has now "accidentally" showed George Zimmerman’s Social Security number and other personal information live over the air, including address, date of birth, and phone number. Tweets by those threatingZimmerman and celebrating the possession of that information were almost instaneous.
The media bias in this case has been dangerous and unfair to the extreme. Not only IMO has it generated hatred BEFORE trial...it has generated a backlash as well...and neither bodes well for EITHER "side" of this case.

To review...the Associated Press originally reported that Zimmerman was "white."That falsehood was seized immediately by the MSM in general heightening the racial aspect of the case. They then had to backtrack and invent the new designation "white Hispanic."

The media also dug upphotographs of Zimmerman from a 2005 arrest to use...rather than current photos, and then chose to broadcast photographs of Martin as a pre-teen, not the 17-year-old he was at the time of the killing or the Facebook Photo that TM chose for himself. This child of 12 was NOT who GZ saw that night and yet today...that photo is still on the Daily News website. Do really want this done in reporting cases? Really? Maybe we should have had only adorable pictures of a 12 year old GZ too,

NBC News manipulated tape of Zimmerman's 911 call to make it seem that Zimmerman had targeted Martin because he was black, rather than responding to 911 dispatcher questions.

CNN also manipulated audio of Zimmerman purportedly calling Martin a racial slur during the call -- an allegation that ended up being completely false. What an outrage! Inventing a slur! This started making this whole prosecution look like a bogus witch-hunt when the Media lies andcheats.

Both ABC News and NBC News also alleged that Zimmerman's injuries did not exist, releasing badly-pixellated photographs from the night of the incident. WHY tamper? I guess when the truth isn't enough...this is what the media does...lie toits readers and viewers!

This was done in the Duke Lacrosse Hoax too. That false accuser now sits in jail on a murder charge...but the media built a fantasy about her too.

IMO, this MEdia Bias is not only sick...it creates "sides"...like this was some sporting event...not about the death of a young man and the life of another.

This serves NO sense of justice and it could be used against anybody...anytime.

I hope GZ owns CNN when this is over.

I get not going out after the gunshot but before??? When someone is yelling for help??? And here is something else that I think goes for George.. If indeed that sounded like a young kid for help?.. You bet your keister someone would have gone out there..... JMO

:moo:I agree: To me, it didn't sound like a kid. To be perfectly honest, I tried to think about what George Zimmerman would sound like if he was in fear for his life, and yelling in a panic. I'm no expert, but that's what it sounds like, to me. :twocents:

The Prosecution was able to just illustrate how silly it was for GZ to act like he was trying to see a street name....given there are only three streets in the entire place. As witnessed to by LE. Puts paid to his silly claim that he knew every single resident among the 100 or so who dwelled there, given he claims he didn't know the name of one of only three streets. IMO

"There were external concerns about that ... " Well, I guess we have that answer now and don't need to just wonder and decide on our own. *sigh*

I find it mind-boggling that both Trayvon's and GZ's hands were pristine!

Did I just hear the lead detective admit that he thought GZ could have also been a victim?

Someone claimed that GZ was not athletic, I thought it was mentioned in one of the previous threads, he had practiced MMA for about 5 months at the time of the murder.

Yes, the Physician's Assistant that testified said that GZ practiced MMA 3 days a week, 3 hours each day.

I think imo that she heard very little. What would have been most enlightening was the influences that surrounded her...such as state's interview with the mom in the room, audio tapes made by crump and sent to the news...purporting things untrue .like age..relationship ..IMO Ms Jeantel was not as informed as the pros tried to make her out to be....and was used

About a month and a half ago, while on my lunch break, I took a walk. I frequently look behind and around me, not because I am a suspicious looking person but because I would like to be aware of my surroundings. I noticed a man going in the exact same direction as me and staring at me and it seemed as if he was trying to catch up to me, I usually walk slowly. I crossed the street, to check my theory (is this person following me?), he crossed the street. I turned the corner, he turned the corner, finally I ducked into the entrance of a store after turning the corner quickly, as I am looking out, who do I see? The person who I assumed was following me. To this day I do not know if he was following me, nor do I want to find out. Needless to say I was scared and my adrenaline was pumping and this was during the daytime, I can't imagine how frightened I would be if it was dark out with no one else around.

PW, I do the same thing, but more often in my car.
If I feel someone is following me I will meander around but NOT go to my house....will just keep driving until they go a different way. I know that sounds wacky, I doubt people are after me, but ya know how sometimes a car just seems to be going the same way as you for just a little too long?
Anyway, better safe than sorry!
