Why would anyone in possession of a gun be screaming for help? Logicly they wouldn't! So we are to believe that one second GZ is sreaming for help like a little girl with zero attempt to fist fight and the next second he shoots? IMO nothing about Georgie porgie's story make a lick of sense.

Amen to that and it now being shown to th Judge that GZ also lied on the Sean Hannity show, about his knowledge of Stand Your Ground Florida Law...Hope the Prosecution is able to bring that in.IMO

Sure they would. I think more so. They don't want to shoot anyone.. They need help to get the guy off of them without shooting him.

Seems completely normal..

Maybe if the guy was dirty harry.. But this is not someone who went around flashing his gun. He took a course got it legally and carried it legally.

OMO

It seems that now, wanting to be a cop is indicative of something nefarious. I hate that so much is being allowed in about GZ and not about TM.

ITA. And in fact Angela Corey's office sent copies of George Zimmerman’s college records, material that Florida law considers confidential and exempt from disclosure, to a variety of media outlets. Of course they tried to claim it was an accident. IMO) This was NO accident.

A 17 year old is not allowed to enlist (or do many other things) without parental permission. That's because a 17 year old is still considered a child.
Except, apparently, in murder cases where they too often, IMO, try children as adults. Apparently, IMO, a child can be a child if he is a victim...but can't be a child if he's accused of committing the crime.

I am an RN and work in a nursing home/rehab center. I find the testimony of the ME very strange in that she would say ANY head injury is insignificant by looking at a picture. My patients fall, often. Our floor is concrete. If there is any chance that a patient hit their head we have a huge protocol we follow that includes vital signs on a timed schedule, frequent neuro checks, alertness, movements. Why? because every health care personnel is taught that head injuries OFTEN do not appear for hours to days, which is why our protocol is to watch intently for 3 days and then up to 6 weeks. I have seen more injuries than I would like to as to the effects of hitting your head on concrete, even one time. I've seen people with bruises in places you are sitting there thinking "how the heck did that bruise get THERE?". So for a medical examiner to brush this off as insignificant boggles my mind. Maybe she knows something we don't? I'd sure love to tell my patient "aww that's just insignificant, you will live" and move on and not have to do all that extra paperwork and assessments. IMO, her testimony as to that was absurd.

I can't believe the state has to resort to someone (who has a long history btw) to do prognosis on injuries based on photographs. The ridiculousness of all these is having someone make some sort of arbitrary number of how many injuries one must sustain before using their weapon in self defense.

I think the clerk testified that he was 5'7". JMO

Regardless, Trayvon Martin was 5'11". Why do we need to have pages and pages about how tall Trayvon was when he was killed? :twocents:

No he was 5'10. That is in evidence..

My husband is 6'3" and his "ideal" weight is 168. So, I'm not sure that's skinny. Judging by pictures, I would say TM was tall with a medium build. JMO. OMO. MOO.

My brother has almost the exact same numbers as Trayvon. He is 5'11 150 pounds. He's very thin. I don't think anyone would classify my brother as "a big guy." He's very average height and scrawny. FWIW.

Sometimes, I am 6 ft in shoes. Yet, I am only 5'4". :floorlaugh:

Trayvon Martin was 5'11".

About his tennis shoes which I heard he got for his birthday. They were white with a little red trim and they were PRISTINE even after this so-called life threatening fight. IMO, if he was in a beat down with GZ, those shoes would have been quite dirty. They were not. But GZ's shoes were scuffed up on the toe...which happens when you are on top, IMO again.

Because apparently the mere fact of being tall is threatening, but being followed in the dark by a strange man is not? lol

The same kind of "accident" as the Prosecutor "forgetting" to redact GZ's social security number, telephone number and address from the exhibit he posted last week? Golly. This Prosecution team sure is remarkably accident prone.

TM, himself, posted pics of himself all over twitter holding money, guns, gang signs, etc. That boy was very muscular. IMO of course.

I have 3 step sons that all played sports...2 football, 1 swimming. My littlest one is 5'7" and 140 pounds and looks like a little hulk. He has no fat, only muscles on muscles. I guarantee he could kick any of our butts, IMO of course.

The hacker also uploaded the login information for Martin's Gmail, Yahoo, YouTube and Twitter account, but had changed all of the password to racist slurs. Many of the accounts have since been deleted, but Trayvon's MySpace page is still up. The last login is listed as Tuesday.

I can't put any credence in anything in the Twitter account which was hacked and stacked against him. IMO

But TM was much taller...and therefore skinny imo..I'm not saying he was a weakling...but skinny, yes. IMO

Oops...so, he is actually shorter than what everyone is saying? It's been a few days since I have looked at the autopsy report. Thanks for the clarification! :blushing:

ETA: I was correct, Trayvon was 5'11" at the time of death. Enough on this non-issue.

Holy Carp! Why is Bella testifying? :scared:

ETA- she reminded me of the Twilight girl for a sec, lol. Kristin Stewart. (And NO, I am not a Twilight fan! *TEAM NONE OF THEM*).

as to the bolded opinion, he was NOT being beaten to death. However, he may have had good reason to believe his life was in danger.

but it is wrong to say that someone being beaten up is necessarily unable to grab a gun and shoot it.

this is not my opinion. It simply does not follow that because someone is being beaten up that they are incapable of grabbing a gun.

You are right, and I should not have used the word "never". However, a teen was killed due to GZ shooting him in a fight, I still believe that TM saw the gun and was trying to keep GZ from using it to kill him, I believe those screams are from TM. I wasn't there but my "heart" tells me someone's life is in danger due to seeing a weapon that kills, not from someone punching my face. :twocents:

Isn't that something his daughter did? It's not like West posted it himself is it?

Yes his daughter posted it but the prosecution is still going to bring it up to the judge.

Course hopefully the Jury won't know about it but it looks bad even if the daughter did post it.
