George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin General Discussion Thread 9 (For Friday)

Dear Websleuths Members,

This thread will open the start of court on Tuesday July 2nd.

We are going to try opening one thread for the trial of George Zimmerman.

Discussions became so heated and hateful that we closed the whole Martin/Zimmerman discussion until the trial started.

If things get out of hand again we will close this thread.

Just because someone might think George Zimmerman is innocent does not make them a racist.

Just because someone thinks Trayvon Martin was killed in cold blood does not make them a racist.

Started at 8:30 but hasn't started-started. They called TM's mom and then called for a side bar...makes no sense to me.

When they adjourned on Weds the judge announced court would start at 8:30. I think she wants to get as much done as possible.

Im excited to see the end of the Prosecution case and see the defense case.

TM's Mother is all about emotion. No evidence. So it is just about making people feel, not reason.

Judge arrived in court after 8:15 this morning, maybe just before 8:30. Lots of doing nothing since then. Called the victim's mother to the stand and then called an immediate sidebar. Poor lady has to sit and wait facing the courtroom. Must be upsetting for her. I know it's making me nervous.

Hi everyone!

No matter how you lean in this case, TM's mom's testimony will be difficult. I got the chills when she said her son Trayvon was in heaven (I just realized he was younger than my parrot, who is 22).

She lost her son..doesn't matter if he was a good or bad kid...she lost her son. My heart goes out to her.

This testimony for me has no bearing on anything..

We know that she and dad originally said it was not him.

When I hear it again and again, I am more and more confident that it was GZ yelling..

It goes with his immediate accounts before he knew any one heard it, or there were any recordings..

I cannot find actual statute but Google says 18 in Fl but 16 with parental consent..


To me, Tattoos mean grown up...
