Yes, perhaps I was overreacting because I'd just watched his deposition on the Morgan tapes again. :furious:
OT:
It's so funny you said that because I had insomnia last week and so listened to the Cindy interviews with Morgan again, and I gotta tell you, those things worked better than sleeping pills to put me out, but gave me nightmares all night long and I awoke with a migraine each morning after watching. They should put a warning on George AND Cindy AND Lee's interviews that they could be considered dangerous to your mental well being! lol:banghead:

Dang, the video won't play for me. It's always interesting to go back and rewatch and review after getting new info. Suddenly things make more sense.

I forgot to add to my thoughts about that timeframe is that was during the time that over that Thanksgiving Cindy sent emails to blogger Sean Krause and KathiB. Cindy later claimed the emails were sent by a hacker and Sean called her out on it. KathiB sent Cindy a response asking her if she really meant to send that email to her and never got a response from Cindy. KathiB gave her email to the Feds and neither her or Sean have ever disclosed what was in the emails.

Wowza! That was one interesting November!

FYI...my own opinion. The term "gated community" means nothing special. It COULD be something that is highly secure or it could be just another nice apartment complex or condo complex that has security gates. I would agree it is a step up from a regular community, but a poster was asking how on earth these sisters could get in to live in a gated community. Anybody can find one.

I agree texaslb
And, Gated communities can be found all over Central Florida..and beyond.

Actually, no, it does not have to mean that. Some apartment complexes here have cards to the gate. There is no guard, but there is video. The card basically works like a hotel room card. Management can also tell whose card accesses the gate and what time(s).

Here in the city I live in is a government (Section 8) apartment complex that is gated. There is a guard there because it is a very dangerous complex. Those apartments are rented to low income single mothers.

My sister lives in a gated community in north Houston, Texas, where there IS a guard in a little gatehouse 24/7. The homes are very expensive. (I am a poor relation, LOL.)

The first two are examples of apartments. The last is an example of a residential gated community. It is anyone's guess which type of gated community these sisters live in.

JMO

It is the same way here in Florida. My brother lives in a gated community, there is a guard, you are issued a visitor pass or they have your name that the homeowner calls ahead to the guard and check your name off of the list.

In the Section 8 apartment style homes, no guard but a gate and you enter a code number. The renter can give you the number, you punch in the code, the gate opens and in you go. No contact with a guard only a gate. USually the gate doesn't last long and then you can go through.

Some Subdivisions have a card that you can insert and then the gate will open. If you are a visitor, the home owner calls a number once you are at the gate and then it will open. No cell phone to call the homeowner, you have to park and walk.

Now that this affair controversy has come out in the media, I am going to be interested in watching Baez' demeanor in the indigency hearing tomorrow. Think he will be more nervous than usual? I do.

JMO

Me too. But he will try to be focused, because he wants money.
One thing I think is for sure, is this. Casey will not look at her mom or dad, she is p/o, like usual, but now after this info getting out, she will be really pissed at her parents, and give them the cold shoulder. she will try to pretend in front of camera's that everything is ok..imo
I wonder if G and C will be able to play the. 'There's nothing wrong" card tomorrow, to and from the court room?:waitasec:

after some thought maybe she used GA statement here to make herself more believable make it sound like something he would say.
She was outside of their house in that over-dramatic video it appears she wanted to appear to be "in"

I would say that when that video was made she was already "in".
She met GA at the KFN tent, months before.

If what GA said to RC about the accident is true, I cannot get over the fact that she did not go to LE right away about this. Another person who pushes Caylee aside, for what, a married man?

I'm not buying the excuse that she'd just be another victim to the Anthonys because if she was really worried about that, she wouldn't have gotten involved with them in the first place. Being an alleged mistress to the father of the alleged murderer, you put yourself straight to the front of the line.

Notice Brad didn't respond about the affair in his 1st statement, only that "George never made that statement (about caylee's death being an accident)". If there was no affair, he would have adamantly said so. Either there was or there wasn't. He didn't need to wait on investigative reports to know! LOL! My guess is even Brad had the sense not to lie about it, but CA probably threw a fit. So the next day, he came out and denied the "sexual" affair. I think "sexual" was the key word. Once the texts are released, I bet their
spin will be that it was an "emotional" affair, during a time of great sorrow (and horniness!)

That's how Pres. Clinton phrased it too *at first* IMO

All of these things coming to light now (if true) sure bring me back to the A's request for immunity. IMO

There is one other thing I wanted to point out. I don't blame this woman for coming out and speaking up because if she hadn't, the finger would get pointed at her for being the nanny. Think about it, what is more controversial and at the heart of this case than Kronk finding the body? The invisinanny!!!

You better believe if LE told me I looked, right down to the last detail, like the nanny who Casey said stole and killed her daughter, I'd be the first to come out with my story. There is no way this mistress wants the finger to be pointed at her for Caylee's death, even if it could be disproven. We all see how rumors work and how hard it is to get past a rumor even when it's confronted with facts.

So yes, the affair might be in question, but no one is saying this woman is the nanny. After all, had she not said anything and then allegations of her being the nanny surfaced, we'd be questioning why she didn't ever go to LE or ever say that she wasn't the nanny to clear her name. She should thank her lucky stars that the affair is the only thing in question at this point.

Just something else to keep in mind while we wait...

ITA. If she has followed this case at all, she's seen what happens to people who aren't in the A camp or defense camp. And I'm betting LE mentioned her more than resemblance to the invisinanny, and may have indirectly warned her, or maybe she became afraid herself and got her sister to speak out for her. In any event, she obviously wanted her side of the story out first before a smear campaign was launched against her. I do feel sorry for her, and I do hope she gets herself a lawyer before talking to the defense.

I also wonder if George can get in trouble for fraud. That's a big if because it would have to be proven that he took money from several women and then did not spend it on searches for Caylee. Can any of you legal eagles help me out here? Would several women claiming he took money from them be enough for a warrant to look into his finances? I have a feeling this is where GA and CA may get into real trouble. There's always a money trail - that's how Al Capone got taken down (well, for tax evasion, but still, we're talking money). Would LE be able to look into the foundation if misappropriation of funds is proven? Or would the IRS be looking into that at the request of LE?

Man, I can't wait for the hearing tomorrow. Things should get even more interesting...

There's nothing LE can do if these women gave the money as a gift. I got the impression that RC gave GA money because he was broke and had no job. It was for his personal use. Now he is denying that she gave him money so even if it was considered a loan to be paid back, without anything in writing she's out of luck. Of course I never got the impression that it was a loan either.
