''On January 26, 1994, 17-year-old Tami’s body was found in a secluded area of Hutchinson Island in Savannah. According to police, she had been stabbed 130 times. Someone also ran over her with a car.

Tami’s sister, Stacy Patterson, said that Tami been to the area before and likely felt safe going there. It’s unclear why she went that particular night or who she went with. A gas station attendant saw her speaking with two men in a car on the night she disappeared. The men have never been identified.''

''In 1994, her sister Tami Renee Jackson had just turned 17. She was an 11th grader, who loved dance, music and played the trumpet at Calvary Baptist Day School in Savannah.

“She was just a sweet, bubbly, kind girl... A little girl who had no beef with anybody."

But someone wanted her dead. Her life taken in an incredibly violent way. On Jan. 26, construction workers on Hutchinson Island made a gruesome discovery: Tami’s mutilated body was found face down on a dirt road. She had been stabbed over 130 times, and run over repeatedly.''

This is awful. I wonder if she was stabbed by multiple people/weapons or if it was found to be one knife used. Overkill either way.

I hope she gets the justice she deserves.

In 1994, 17-year-old Tami Jackson had moved in with some friends on Hutchinson Island, outside of Savannah. Patterson says her sister was a typical teenager, and believes Tami was running with the wrong crowd in the weeks leading to her death. "From what we know, the people she was staying with were irritating her, and she took a walk, and no one ever saw her after that," says Patterson.''

I agree and it's scary to think a person or persons so brutal and evil are unknown and out there among us.
