The blonde attny of the A's said:

The prosecution needs to decide if they are going to go after the A's for criminal complicity or after Casey for murder.

Then she took a deep breath realizing what she had said. LOLOLOL

Did anyone get that exactly? I know mine might be off a bit.

Pam Bondi isnt an atty for the "A"'s. She's our SA from Hillsborough County Fl..(Tampa) shes a bad 🤬🤬🤬 b**ch. She eats weak attys for breakfast. Don't let the looks fool ya..her and/or Kim G. are tough.

She hates murderers. She's thrown a boat load of 'em in prison here.

Touche' - too funny Scandi. Yes, that's his wife.

Hi Boots, It's nice to meet 'cha. Time. If only I could stop time as far as getting older. LOLOLOL

Was that Baden that got in trouble with accepting fees, do you know? I never heard how that was resolved. xox

In what way are they saying that her mother's rights were violated?

I believe that she was notified through her representative (JB) when police began to feel that Caylee was no longer alive.

I believe she was notified through her representative when LE developed a suspect in the case. And most parents aren't told the suspects name until the charges were filed, so you could say she was told more than most parents.

I believe she was notified through her representative when murder charges were filed against the suspect.

I believe that she was notified through her representative when remains believed to be Caylee's were found.

Sounds to me like she was accorded the same or more rights than most parents are given.

I have never heard of any parent being allowed to attend the autopsy or go to the crime scene after LE determined it was a crime scene.

Does Casey (herself) really want to attend the autopsy? Somehow it really wouldn't surprise me.

Bolded by me.

And why would any parent want to? That is just sick and morbid beyond belief. Even an experienced ME would not want to be at the autopsy of their own loved ones.

These lawyers look like idiots when they say stuff like this. I would suggest that they might want to think before opening their mouths.

I have an idea......if KC wants to see her daughter's (the one that she killed) autopsy, by all means let's get her there without delay. I think she should have to look at the results of her handiwork!

Hi again ;}

I've been here most of the day so am kind of rummy :crazy:, but I know this is the 2nd reference to her being wrapped in a towel by 2 different reporters. But I have heard several reporters comment on how it was something specific in that bag that caused these LE investigators to dispatch to the A's ASAP.

I don't think it would be anything on duct tape, as for one thing they wouldn't be touching that at the crime scene IMO. I think it would have to be something that would match more of the same thing in the A's house. That is why I thought the paver, clear storage bag one vacuum's the air out of and now the possibility of towels are on the right track.

Sorry, but gosh, that was kind of hard to explain. HeeHee

It HAD to something obvious that they recognized...thats what struck me as to the speed at which they took off!

I cannot wait...at least it will make this cold winter go faster for me watching Caylee hopefully get the justice she deserved.

Speak of Geragos' boat trick -

This reminds me, in a way, of what happened in his dubious distinction at being Scott Peterson's representation at trial. If I recall, Geragos became the attorney after the victims were identified. So, the question I'd have for him is if he were the attorney for Scott earlier than his arrest, would he have demanded to have "experts" at the autopsies and crime scene too?

And slightly off topic:

BTW, having Henry Lee at any crime scene is a problem after the judge in California in Phil Spector's trial ruled he destroyed or hid evidence and that he lied under oath. The prosecution could potentially have a field day with that to impact his credibility if the defense finds anything at the crime scene after the FBI and OSCO have completed their investigation there.

http://www.courttv.com/trials/spector/052307_ctv.html

I agree I don't have warm fuzzy feelings regarding Dr. Lee either. It seems to me that these people do nothing more then confuse the jury with the expert "opinions". JB is a desperate man. Casey is going down and he knows it. Am I the only one who notices how lazy JB is?? It appears he wants everyone else to do the work. He has assembled all of these experts so again he can do nothing at trial but call on "experts"

GR pisses me off whenever he's 🤬🤬🤬 kissing his best bud (JB) & whenever he spews his lenient BS! re: mothers who drug their kids to party..But then I want to cheer him on every time he calls KA for what she is & when he said recently he had sympathy for the parents but none for her..He needs to pick a side & stick with it before my head explodes!

Has anyone heard if Caylee's remains have been sent to Quantico yet?

The reason I asked is she may not be sent if the ME knows the COD. They would just send the specimen samples where DNA profile could be established and toxicology test run.

I thought it odd that her body wasn't shipped on yesterday as that usually happens quickly after the initial autopsy.

I just feel they may have already found the COD whether it is from a broken neck with severed spinal cord or perhaps from bludgeoning.

TIA

imoo

They mentioned yesterday, I believe on NG, that the remains would not be sent today, Saturday. They did not mention when they would be, or if all of them would be. Would be a relief on one hand that they know COD but on the other hand, it would bring this murder all more vivid. Some things I'd rather not know, it's all too sad...

Correcting one of my posts from earlier in this thread:

The defense team in the Scott Peterson case, including Drs. Lee and Wecht, were allowed to examine the bodies at some point after the original autopsies were performed.

~~~~~~
http://www.findlaci2003.us/bodies-exam-lee.html
Autopsies were performed on the badly decomposed remains shortly after they were
found just over a mile apart along the shoreline near Richmond.
Last month, Girolami granted a defense request to conduct its own examination of
the bodies. On Friday he issued a ruling that laid out guidelines for the examination,
including the use of photographs, videotape, X-rays and the removal of "reasonable"
amounts of tissue and fluid samples.
The defense team was required to provide its own medical instruments, and the group
brought in cases on wheels, a large brown paper bag and other items.
Defense experts routinely review autopsy findings in murder cases, and second
autopsies are becoming increasingly frequent, said Dr. Michael Baden, a former New
York City medical examiner, who has worked with both Lee and Wecht on other cases.
"Mistakes can be made, intentionally or unintentionally," Baden said. "It's always
appropriate for the defense to review things. Suppose they come back and agree
100 percent with the prosecution. The defense may want to plea bargain."
Hi Valrico, Hey, that's great! She was seated next to the A's new attny. Is that the lady? Geraldo also talked to another blonde who I thought was a reporter.
Since I have all the respect in the world for Kimberly Guilfoil I would like Pam very much as well. I don't know all the players yet that well ;}
Possibly, and who would know this?? It blows my mind to think about how premeditated this may have been. It also makes me think Casey had an accomplice..someone who thought of everything.
When I was studying women who kill their children I found out that some women fantasize killing their children for a long time prior to committing the act. Could Casey have planned this forensics and all?? She sure doesn't seem that clever to me. But who knows. The pesticide thing is really interesting to me. It's just too bizarre!
IMO, Casey being a sociopath, probably fantasized about getting rid of anyone in her way. I don't think she planned Caylee's murder out in detail though. I think she acted suddenly. Her actions afterward just don't seem like there was a well thought out plan.
If pesticides were used, I think it was for bugs. The way it affected the body (slow down or accelerate decomp) was merely an unintended side affect.
Yep. And your point about Baez is well-taken: this guy doesn't have the experience or the leadership skills to control his "experts'" egos, either.
My prediction is this "dream team" will implode before trial even begins. Stay tuned.
Why would anyone dump a body just a few minutes from their own home? Umm.. because they are lazy, unimaginative, and couldn't be bothered?
its pathlogical - they stay in their comfort zone -
Its an extremely high percentage the number of murderers who do this
  • #313
Holy sweet baby Jesus, the A's attorney I think just about admitted that the A's know KC did it, but they are going to stand by their child. You could tell by his face, body language, etc... WOW. WOW WOW WOW
The new atty guy is great. I think his focus is to plea the A's out of this mess....let them testify TRUTHFULLY..in exchange for not being prosecuted...good call on both sides. If GA or CA clam up, they become hostile witnesses, much easier to go after Big Fish KC with them being honest than fighting every damn Anthony....thats why they gave up FP so willingly.
THIS IS GOOD FOR LE/SAO
Awe, Thanks Chilly Willy, It brings a lump to my throat thinking about Laci and Connor and the hundreds of hours we all spent searching for the Justice they deserved - looking to see how the pieces of the puzzle fit together to figure out what happened. Krams
Hi, Ocean...good to see you posting.
You know I'm wondering if the reason LE/ME hasn't released identification is because they know the COD (as you said) and they want KC and her "not so keen" team to sweat it out a little longer? They can continue to make spectacles of themselves and Black can blab, etc. just digging that hole deeper, etc.....
How long does the prosecution have before it has to release all evidence to the defense?
Maybe holding off until the last minute would wear these folks (didn't use the word I wanted to) smooth out and give them enough time to really get themselves in a mess - you know - like using up all of these esteemed :rolleyes: experts' time preparing x defense when y is the one that will address the evidence better?
Maybe Casey sprayed the trunk with pesticide in an attempt to kill the flies and maggots.
Thinking out loud...
If the body were in the trunk of the car for a while and bugs (maggots) present, it might be possible someone sprayed to kill the ones that were already on the body before it was placed in the bag.
Oh thanks Charo, I have really watched Kimberly develop into a class A investigative talk show hostess and admire her very much. I remember her when she first started, and my, she shined when they gave her a show of her own, especially towards the end of it. xox
She's awesome. Ole Gavin Newsome screwed up that deal. She was the best thing that ever happened to him. Her ex is the mayor of San Fran
It was Dr. C. Wecht that abused his position as coroner. However, Baden did not make sense at the Specter trial and left many scratching their heads as to whether he was testifying for the prosecution or the defense. It was not one of his glory cases.
Oh, I just had a really sick thought. What if, after having Caylee's body in her truck for 2.6 days, she opens the trunk and sees maggots, beetles, etc. She needs to move the body, wrap it up, whatever and can't bring herself to touch the bugs. So she grabs a can of raid or whatever is on hand and sprays Caylee's body think this will kill them off so she can then handle the body.
Maybe even had to use it in her car trunk after the fact because flys were still in there and most likely finding their way into the inside of her car.
