If JB DID carry on a sexual relationship with KC, it would be unethical enough to get him disbarred. Surely he wouldn't risk his career to bop this little tart.

I think it's more, she can use a computer freely, watch what ever she wants on TV, carry on her little po'd attitude toward her parents. She may be carrying on scams on who knows how many people right now. She has no sense of shame or conscience. (sp) sorry.

It's obvious the A's have enabled her for far too long, but I can not imagine them still financially supporting her after all this, when she is still hateful on top of that.

Unbelievable.

Is this really a discussion here? Like for real?

He is a defense attorney spending a mionimum of 6 hours a day EVERY day with a client. That's not normal. He admitted that he hasn't even looked at the evidence in the cases he is defending her against so far. So WHAT IS HE DOING for six hours a day every day??????? I have NEVER heard of a lawyer spending that amount of time with a client. He is either with her or on TV - he's not lawyering much at all given the quality of his motions.

Or, maybe he's with her on TOP of the TV?

I think that this whole business and suggestion of Baez and KC "getting it on" is just a ridiculous load of bunk. He's a defence attorney for crying out loud...If he didn't appear to have empathy and support for his client he wouldn't be doing his job. He's doing what he has to do as any good defence lawyer must. I don't particularly like him, nor do I think that he's doing a particularly great job but that's it. All this silly business and speculation that they're doing something else is just ridiculous!

That's my simple honest opinion of course, nothing more.

Yea, but, he seems to be afraid to say BOO to her! Why doesn't he tell her to quit wearing her stolen sunglasses? Advise her to look plain, innocent, and sweet, instead of almost causing an earthquake with all of her a$$ shaking? Her public image is that of a smug, smirking, loose, child killer.

I think I have that one figured out as to why he doesn't make her take off her "stolen gear". They are going to say that Amy gave her permission to use her money. LMAO

Nothing is normal about this case...so why would we expect people on the fringes being normal?! Geraldo seems to be on the defense side of this case and this should not come as any huge surprise. I would like to know if Geraldo has paid out/made any arrangements to pay out on this case plus to whom and for what reasons.

Absolutely, to borrow a phrase. A trial balloon has already been floated even here. AH, who seemed to work hard, must be punished by team Anthony defense for giving CA a place to live, a car when she didn't have one. Oh, and for helping a frantic Cindy locate the "missing" CA and listening to her ravings about how awful CA was. It isn't enough that her hard-earned money was stolen, checks bounced on her account, her identity used. Oh, no. They couldn't stop there, but must extract another couple of pounds of flesh. First, blame her (among others who had known her for a brief time, not a life time) for making the always delightful CA "go bad." Call her a druggie and worse. Then try to implicate her in the disappearance of Caylee. For one final kick, say she's infinitely stupid, and decided to give CA permission to clean out her bank account and beyond, to buy push-up bras, beer and food for the new BF and his friends, and the latest in the Target line of arrest attire. This also suggests that AH committed crimes in reporting this to police and pressing charges and in getting her money back from the bank. Who will be next under the big bus of blame and how many more victims will there be? It's disgusting.

"Although some bar members have argued that current conflict-of-interest rules preclude attorneys from having sex with clients, too many lawyers engage in such conduct because they believe it is not flatly prohibited, said John Strait, a Seattle University law professor and legal ethics expert who co-sponsored the proposal. "

Please note that I am NOT saying this is what is going on here... but it is certainly not impossible given Casey's history, eh?

Even the prosecutor brought this up at the motions hearing..the idea that KC spending six hours a day in JB office is not what a normal client does.
I was willing to keep my mouth shut about it until I realized that someone with legal expertise saw it as strange too.
I won't back down from the position I have now..it's just plain odd!
:waitasec:

Time out! Please!
I realize many of us love to hate, intensely dislike, abhor and generally berate Casey. Pick your level of distaste and run with it. Same goes for Baez. I am absolutely guilty of doing that...

And yes, it is very odd for him to spend these long hours, day after day, with his client.

Who knows why the heck he is doing it. It could be as simple as, "Because he can."

I have asked the opinion of a couple of seasoned criminal trial atty's whom I trust implicitly. Every one of them thinks this is inexplicable..."never seen anything like it"....that sums it up.

However, I would humbly submit that the best way to handle it at this juncture is to ignore it. I have been in the trap myself. Why give Baez further recognition for something we consider absurd? Why let it distract us?

We are above that sort of thing and we are above innuendo relative to this situation.

If we do not notice these long hours, then if whatever he is trying to accomplish is within the parameters of trying to confuse, annoy, rile, anger, or distract us,
well.....then WE WIN!!!
By ignoring this particular conduct we turn the tables...He accomplishes nothing. That even takes the fun out of it.

I just don't know what else to say.:blowkiss::)

Yes, I think KC is doing all she can to seduce him. That's just what she does.

Seriously, if she is capable of killing her own baby to get what she wants, can you imagine what she is probably willing to do for someone that has her life basically in their hands????

Sex is the only thing KC has to offer to men. That's why she does it.

She seems to fantasize a lot, and I'd say her current fantasy is JB getting her aquitted for this heinous thing she has done, him getting a divorce, and they live happily ever after in a huge house called Caseyland.:furious:

I'm sorry, but I think this girl is capable of anything.:furious:

As always too, JMO.

So what the heck is he going to do when he gets the forensic reports and yes indeed, they show Caylee is deceased and was in the trunk of KC's car?

He has been totally taken by KC and has painted himself into a corner. Her only story has been that someone else has Caylee, he has not even entertained the idea that she lied. Is he nuts? She will have ZERO DEFENSE because of JB. The only way out would be to admit guilt and go for insanity. (WHICH WILL NOT WORK)

By constantly blabbing he has sunk her completely... ok she did a pretty good job herself but he has just totally and utterly locked it in. If he had kept his mouth SHUT until he saw what the evidence actually was, then they could have acted according and MAYBE come up with some ridiculous scenerio that would explain everything (in their eyes anyway) but now he has made that impossible!

Oh well, maybe once JB has lost his wife, reputation, any chance at good career, he will see that putting all his eggs in KC basket was not such a good idea...

I agree with you. I will simply add JB could have, should have on the majority of occasions that he decided to utter a word, a simple No Comment...would have served his client better.

Thank you, MiraclesHappen, I couldn't wait to finish reading to the end of this thread to try to say what you just said (but not nearly as well).

It seems like every single person who is in any way connected to this case (family, friends, LE, witnesses and even us who only observe from a distance) have become negatively affected in many ways. KC's evil deeds have not brought out the best in anyone.

My biggest concern with JB's thinking is that he feels LE is obligated to follow up on every possible sighting of Caylee. And it worries me because I have no idea what their responsibility is in that matter. What if they had 2,743,926 alleged sightings to try to follow up on? I mean when is enough, enough? I don't want JB to have any edge here by being able to say LE hadn't done enough but they have to have time to develop more substantial leads.

Certainly the smell in the car and the DNA evidence should be enough to put the skids on LE having to invest more manpower in the sightings, don't you all think?

ExpectingUnicorns, oh what a cool name:blowkiss:

With the hints of evidence we have been given, I have no doubt in my mind that Caylee is deceased:mad:. And in light of the fact that it is GJ time....that should tell us that LE & the prosecutors believe there is enough proof to establish that fact, beyond a reasonable doubt.
Now that you put the calls/ tips in that light, I have had a vision of the certain people who will be unnamed, putting LE on speed dial to phone in sightings.
And welcome to WS! :Welcome-12-june:E.U.

I would hope that LE has MORE than enough on KC. I do know (based on rumor - but rumor has been been proven to be fact more than not in Scott Peterson case, that there was evidence that was not presented at the trial. Overkill.)

I don't really think it is that odd really. This case is receiving massive media attention...and every move Casey makes is being watched by LE. I am sure the Anthony house is bugged, and anything she would do on the computers there could be subject to discovery as well. But if she hangs out at JB's office - she can hide her activities under attorney/client privilege. I would imagine she still spends most of her time on the computer, or watching tv, or possibly using a private phone. None of which can be traced because of privilege. I doubt seriously that JB can afford to spend 6 hours a day with her....I think she is merely hanging out at his offices. She is also probably trying to avoid her family as much as possible too. In essence - it is her private refuge.

One reason only, that Casey is spending suspicious blocks of time w/JB, very obvious, an affair, another victim for her. She is a Black Widow, deadly & preying on anyone who can help or gets in her way! :furious:
