German police rescue man being chased by a squirrel

They must have the same app as the cats in my neighborhood... We feed one and they go text their friends, "there's a crazy cat couple over there! Just swirl around their legs and they'll be jelly!"

They take food (cut up fruit) out of your hand with their hands and nibble on it delicately. I used to feed a mother with a baby almost as big as her on her back, but then she invited all her relatives and friends and I was inundated.
I want to live in your magical land.

Except for the spiders and toads.

We have worse things than toads. Some scary spiders but some things as bad as them, but fortunately, none of them have never attacked me or anyone I know.

Before I knew better, we used to give them bread spread with honey and when they had eaten it, they would meticulously lick the sticky off and between every finger. Bread is not good for them though, l learned.

Possums can be very scary and are horrible arrogant little pests! They used to eat mr flourish's garden so bad! And they just hiss and carry on... They are drama queens.

We have different possums down under to what you have in the States. The Pygmy possums and the ringtails are way cute (except the ringtails do have sharp little teeth that can give you a nip if you’re silly or brave enough to pick them up). The brushtails, however, are a force to be reckoned with.

One morning I was outside early and saw what I thought was a cat coming toward me. Nup, it was a big ole brush tail, waltzing down the street, bold as you like. I stood there, expecting it to scramble up the nearest tree. Nup again, he or she just waltzed on past me, giving me a look that said never-you-mind, on their way to wherever they were spending their daylight hours.

Cheeky bugger!

He probably lived in the tree at the back of me and galloped over my galvanised iron roof at night wearing football studs to the tree at the front of me. With the whole team.

This baby squirrel was only hungry. There are several youtube videos showing orphaned, wild squirrels following humans to try to receive warmth and food from them.

Definition of squirrel...rat with a furry tail.

Runs away to hide while laughing maniacally!

I know it is a shame I don’t blame the squirrel for doing that. The man was lucky he wasn’t arrested for wasting police time though. I think he would have got a stern warning if he phoned the police here in Scotland.
