Angelina, the daughter of a close friend of Mary's friends, does with the information it has available, and the emotions they feel, what they can, and wrote to her influential friends, God, and (here) to Santa Claus:

That is such a sweet little letter, from a 7-year-old whose mom helped her write it, I think. And she is worrying about Christmas not being very far away and Maria not being home. That's as much as I can gather though, so I hope someone will help us out. I don't understand the references to Maria Beisler. Is that another name Maria was known by?

Beisler is her mother's name iirc.

Here's the translation:

They may have done an article but Im not picking it up from here - maybe its archived. There was a recent article in an Italian magazine I think, I'll check my posts and articles for it. Hopefully that magazine come in a few different editions.

I told the people I was with, family/friend, but they didn't quite understand and hurried me along toward the castle. I did not see a dog, although it may have been in one of the cars parked along the road/walkway to the castle When I got home I looked here and it did look like him/her/them, but being an American in Italy, and not sure it was them, I did not tell anyone in authority. Maybe you all know the feeling, but I wasn't 100% certain, and didn't want to make an azz of myself or cause an incident. It probably wasn't them, but it has bothered me ever since.

Or if you are worried that there may be language difficulties, perhaps you could let them know on the facebook page? They have someone who has helped with English translations there, and they could call it in for you, or maybe put you in touch with an english-speaking police officer. I think providing them with details of the time and place would be very helpful, and a description if you can remember what they were wearing.

Yes, you're right. Certainly in that area.

I think Italy would make sense, as well as the South of France. If they had headed down to Munich then gone via Austria it's a nice drive, with plenty of rests stops to pull over at, rather than having to book hotels. Unless they have headed for the hills though, again I think they are likely to be spotted by German tourists soon.

Maria has been missing far too long now. The English girl who went missing with her teacher was brought home in 8 days. She is now in court testifying that it was all her idea to run away and her teacher 'didn't want to'??? Mmmmmm...

I am also wondering if Maria has made a drastic change to her hair; with her light eyes, if she cropped her hair and dyed it blonde, I think she would look totally different. And if Haase has grown a very bushy beard...

If police have any new leads, I wish they would release the information.

It is true that there is only speculation that the dog and the car are part of the investigation (not that they should be ruled out) but the most important factor here is 13 y.o Maria who has not been seen.

Reports have to be made directly to the Police for them to be taken into account, they cant be passed on second hand to be included in the investigation and the search.

Every report brings this girl one step closer to her front door and into the arms of her family and those that love and miss her - no matter how small, every piece helps.

I have done this already (the first week she went missing) - but I am reluctant to post them as they could be grabbed off the net and used as if they are her and what she looks like now. I didn't want to jeopardize or contaminate what she looks like from the official poster shots.
