Shooting victims began arriving on Friday evening at the hospital of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and other hospitals. A spokesman at the university hospital, Philipp Kressirer, said he did not yet have information about the conditions of the patients or how many were there.

In a parking lot at the Schwabing Hospital, Souleyman Daitzik, his eyes bloodshot, paced back and forth near the entrance to the emergency department. His teenage daughter and son had gone to the shopping mall and got separated when the firing began. Mr. Daitzik learned that his son, 17, was shot, but did not know where he was taken, and had gone to four hospitals in search of him.

“I don’t even know if my child is alive or dead,” he said, as his wife began weeping. Relatives had been sent photos on their phones showing the son laying in a pool of blood, but shielded the parents from the images. The relatives also had a video showing Mr. Daitzik’s daughter, wearing a red T-shirt, running and screaming, having ducked the gunfire; a few minutes later, the daughter arrived at the hospital in an ambulance, traumatized but only injured.

The State Department advised Americans in Munich not to attempt to travel to the consulate there. “Residents have been warned not to leave their homes,” the advisory warned. “For your own safety, avoid squares and streets: perpetrators are on the run. Train and bus transport suspended. Turn radio and TV on. Munich’s mainline railway station is closed, and mass transit remains halted.”

I never heard of robots in police work until the Dallas cop-killer...and now they seem like standard op. I'm reading the news like, "Oh yeah, they sent in a robot." as if I know what that even entails.

I don't have a point...just a general comment about living like the Jetsons.

One another note, it's incredibly scary to have your city attack - especially children - and I'm sorry Munich is going through this.

Balcony Man was possibly spot on when he shouted:

"Yeah treatment is something for you!"

Balcony Man and Video Man are unexpected heroes.
I wonder how they are doing now.
I hope they are as OK as they can be.

Terrified mum says son was in bathroom with Munich gunman

A terrified mum says the Munich gunman targeted children when he began his sickening at a city-centre McDonald’s.

Lauraetta Januze said her son was in a bathroom when the killer struck.

She told CNN: “That’s where he loaded his weapon.

“Boom, boom, boom, I heard, and then I saw all the injured. I was back to back with him, I was in the bathroom with my kid, and I only saw him shoot directly into the faces of children.”

I don't know but I know he mentioned Hessen and other areas. Sounds like a lot of help. Maybe several hundred?
