This is similar to my thinking. I believe SK's either seek out others like them so they can boast or recruit young apprentices - people they can control and influence. Probably not all SK's but just as some men who pay for sex can be inclined to find one another online or in real life to boast of their sexploits. This leads me to think that others with certain secrets can do likewise.

Thinking back to another famous SK, Peter Tobin tried to take young impressionable men under his wing. Why wouldn't LISK do the likewise so that he/they could receive praise from someone else in on the 'secret'?

I find it odd that someone would feel the need to publicize their net worth in order to meet a lover....very superficial but superficiality would help keep the monster hidden behind the mask. Yes and no. It sounds like he started off with manipulation tactics, he was confronted with what he told her he had done (no mention of GB4) and calmly tried to tell her she was mistaken, when questioned further he rudely disconnects the call.

Now I don't know LH but if I was accused of what he was confronted with, I would not be cool and calm. I'd be very upset that someone would think I'd do such a thing, not calm. This leads me to believe he is involved somehow. How deeply, I cannot ascertain.

I'd like to know how he found out as well... And what he was told. I'm half tempted to call the PO that took the statement to try finding out how the info was treated, however I'm doubtful that would reveal anything.

This is not a good example as Howard had a previous court ordered gag order that Reed could not talk publicly about him.

Defamation suits are notoriously hard to prove, he would need to prove she knowingly lied, with malice, and prove it directly resulted in a loss, like income or job.
It's not criminal, it is civil, under tort law.
If he sued for defamation, I don't believe he would win in court.
Even if he really did have a case, this type of thing is more often than not settled out of court under a non disclosure agreement, giving him bad publicity while hiding the resulting settlement, making him look worse than if he just left it alone.

I looked for New Bedford killings on youtube. Theres not much. Just a few clips. Are there any documentaries about it on the internet?

There was supposed to be one coming out this year. I haven't heard more about it. There is also a book called Killing Season by Carlton Smith published sometime in the 90s. It was an interesting read but didn't provide as much detail as I would like. I posted a summary awhile back about what the book did provide as far as info on the murders & victims. From what I can tell, no. It appears they were intact. The book did not provide details on all of the bodies found. But the ones that were detailed, appear to be intact.
