It is the Daily Mail, so...

Forensic cops have dug up mysterious objects in the backyard of Gilgo Beach serial killer suspect Rex Heurmann's home.

Haunting images showed the officers crowded over a hole in the ground as they surveyed what appeared to be small fragments on a board in the soil.

Some experts speculated they could be human remains, while others warned they could be from animals or something else entirely
dailyfail “experts” lmao. this does look interesting, but i doubt it’s human remains, looks like fabric/material to me. remains of clothing or even a tarp maybe ?

BTK had a ton of evidence in his home. He liked to take photos of his victims and his crimes spanned decades.

LE has spent days in RH's house. That alone indicates to me they have found a LOT of evidence.

JMO

Or it was a total pig sty and took them that long to go thru all the crap.

dailymail tho'!
experts, like...

You can knock Daily Mail, but they do hire freelance photographers to get pictures others don't get. Those drone screen shots and photos are real

I didn’t know it either. I just assumed everybody else did. Maybe somebody knows it and it got passed around…
AC victims were missing shoes & socks

As far as I know, Gilgo Beach victims were “missing personal items”. I never heard what those items were, specifically. I don’t know if that was ever disclosed.

On Monday night, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder attended a meeting of residents who live near the Massapequa Park home, whose lives have been disrupted by the flood of people that has descended on what was a quiet suburban street.

Police say they will not tolerate it any longer.

"If you're going to stop in front of those houses where there will be no standing and no stopping signs, you will be issued a summons, so if you want to take a chance on a $150 summons take your chance, my cops will be out there," Ryder said.

Residents say they just want their quiet lives back

Thank god!

i’ve always been critical of LE but i’m very glad that they’re wrapping it up so quickly. there was a case in the UK where a woman accidentally drowned and tiktok parasites were all over the scene heavily disrupting it and creating a grand conspiracy. i bet if LE kept digging for any longer, some true crime “influencer” would end up camping out at the bottom of the street lmao.

I have a lot of stuff in my home and it would take quite a while to sift through it, depending on what investigators are looking for.

Listening to 1010 Wins this morning, they said SCPD has said the investigation on the RH home/property will be wrapping up soon and had proven “fruitful”.

Any chance they give a press conference in the near future?

In the US, LE puts out crime scene tape and nobody is allowed to pass that without getting arrested.

Probably not anything specific until they get some of the critical evidence analyzed (DNA results in particular)

I know.
Their brazen attitude is what I was alluding to..
Not sure it's all helpful either.
Or appropriate.
If I was LE I'd have drones over every site just to stop this prying..
Thing is they can never understand what it is they captured and roll out experts and theories like facts..

My question to myself all along: were there any tucks or hideaways with stuff stuff stuff lots of stuff, or even rooms and closets, hoarded with stuff stacked in front of that appeared to help the Mrs avoid ever looking in?

missing shoes and socks --- did we know that about the Gilgo4? Were their shoes and socks missing?
I was wondering the same. This is the first I've heard this. I thought I missed something all these years. If anyone has a credible link stating that this came from officials at some point, I would greatly appreciate it!
