A serial killer is defined by several things, among them is a “cooling off” or dormancy period and this what separates a serial killer from simply being a mass murderer.

Let’s say RH is responsible for EVERY victim associated with this case, here is a breakdown of his “dormant” periods:

Andre Isaac “Sugar Bear” November 2002 (discovered Dec 2002) many don’t believe this to be connected but at one point SCPD had him on their website as potential victim so putting him here)

Maureen Brainard Barnes - July 2007

**The only potential victim we don’t have an accurate date of death for is Asian Doe, found in 2011 is given a 5-10 postmortem interval**. They could have been killed anywhere from 2001-2006 (estimated)

I strongly believe Jamie Diane Seymour is a very solid candidate for a potential victim. She fits a lot of his preferences and matches the circumstances of some other victims. She was never found. She went missing 22nd July 2005, which would fill in some of that big years-long gap between Jessica Taylor and Cherries.

The 2018 pre-trial deposition from the 2017 accident has telling information regarding his whereabouts in more recent years, 2017-2018 time frame, also notes surgeries he's had (hernia, hip). He traveled to Vegas a few times, including once, "solo, for pleasure"; to Virginia multiple times, Florida with the family, New Jersey, Maryland and other parts of New York. He certainly got around.... He seems very litigious, IMO. The accident from 2017 that he was suing for, he was heading home at 10:15pm from work. Is that "normal" for an Architect to keep such hours? I can't imagine for the scope of things he claimed to do for work that anything with the city code dept, etc would be operating at that time. The file found online is long, but a pretty good read.

ETA, he also discusses not being able to "shoot his guns" because of hurting his shoulder in this accident, and references also driving the Jeep that was covered in his driveway.

CORRECTION to my previous post *** It was right shoulder surgery, NOT hip. ***** He stated he had hernia surgery sometime in 2014/15, and right shoulder surgery February 2018. He did complain of hip pain, but no surgery on the hip. My apologies for putting it in wrong previously.

I respect Dr Badan tremendously, he is the one you call for a tough autopsy and he called it exactly like he saw it. Her hyoid bone was broken. However, It’s also not out of question that given the amount of time (approx 7 months from SG disappearance to her discovery) her hyoid bone could be damaged simply by the elements/animals. Shannan was missing roughly nineteen months, from 1st May 2010 to 13th December 2011. The 'seven months' window is from when Shannan went missing to when Melissa was found, followed shortly after by the other beach victims.

Apologies if this was already addressed and I missed it but it looks like a history of places he live but not necessarily places he owned. Some would have been places he lived while not living at home, before moving back to his childhood home. If you’ve ever done a background check for employment or whatever, they ask you to list every place you’ve ever lived, rentals included.

His interest in this doesn’t surprise me at all. He was behind the massive clean up of Times Square sex work/massage parlors/peep shows/street prostitution in the mid 90s. There's an article in the footnotes where they talk to her family with more information. Looks like she was 5'6", but they stress how small/petite her build was, and from the looks of her photos on the article, that's true. I don't know whether I'm allowed to link directly to the article since it's a wayback machine archive, but it's easy enough to find through the wiki page.

Thanks for posting this. It is an illuminating read. It offers insight also on some of the family dynamics. It’s also interesting to read
that Rex has other siblings besides just the younger brother - around p 132 when the lawyer asks him has he taken any trips besides Las Vegas. Rex mentions a drive to Binghamton to visit one of his sisters. They go to Coco Beach with his mother and daughter ( maybe that’s where the coconut souvenirs came from! ). One part I had to laugh at. He talks about not being able to put up his Xmas lites bc of the shoulder operation. I think I saw those lights still up in the police pics so it seems like they may be up year round. Also he talks about being unable to ride his bike. Has me wondering if he ever did ride a bike? JMO

Why would the wife's attorney say he was a duck hunter? I think LE could likely prove if and when RH had a hunting license. Maybe he just used the duck hunting burlap, and the boat he co-owned, and the boat ramp nearby??

And digging in his yard late at night. If I did ONE of those things, the entire police force would be at my house. And my neighbors aren’t even that nosey. That is beyond odd behavior for most of Long Island. I can see that behavior out east, where homes are on acres+, but, not in this area.

Something just seems off about the entire duck hunter thing. The most obvious being you can't duck hunt year round. At the right time of year, it might be the case that a duck hunter would attract little attention. It would also depend on if a certain area was permitted for hunting. I just feel like this is being pushed too hard by the media.

Hadn’t read that article, but it doesn’t seem realistic. I recall, and the photos and video are probably still available, the bodies were found not far from Ocean Parkway. They were close enough that it wouldn’t be too difficult to dump them from a truck parked on the shoulder.

Duck Hunting season Is only a few weeks a year.
