Well, she's classified as a victim here and off limits for discussion. It's the benefiting from her husband's crimes that I find unbelievable and I do hope it does not proceed. MOO.

I hope a lawyer pops in here... Isn't there something that can be done to stop the payments?

Im not a lawyer but I highly doubt they can, she legally hasnt done anything wrong, so i dont think son of sam lawa apply

Good point. Maybe she felt free to leave if some deal was in the works. I've always wondered if she hired attorneys and stuck around because she might also be charged for helping with one of the other murders.

Or maybe she lawyered up because high profile cases almost always end up with innocent family members dragged through the mud with rumours that have no basis that impact their lives and own wellbeing forever. A good lawyer can do wonders to act as a filter for stuff that is essential to know/participate in, and for batting away the stupid.

Today BIG day in the Long Island Serial Killer case as the Suffolk County District Attorney has announced there will be a “significant development” from the Gilgo Beach Task Force after this morning’s hearing in a press conference after suspect Rex Heuermann has his court appearance in Suffolk County at 9:30am.

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to have @lexlinkletter on NewsNationLive to go over the case compare notes. We have both been covering this for a very long time and she will be in court with me as well to see what comes next. Check my stories cue on my Instagram account @lauraingletv for content today, we’ve heard Attorney Gloria Allred is coming in for the hearing, and there will be multiple press conferences and possible victim’s family members that we haven’t seen before in the courtroom, which means possible new charges.

In the meantime there is now justice for these young women.

Maybe LE found it during the 2nd search just laying on the kitchen table? /s
