I was astonished at that quote, but thought of it as evidence to how much damage was done to the speaker, and how clueless she was to the gravity of what has happened in her inner circle.

Until SDS71 posted, I hadn't considered how awful those words are to surviving children and family.

I am especially broken hearted for the children who grew up without mothers for these crimes.

Elizabeth Smart had Stockholm to an extreme degree.

Here's the difference, in M00. She participated in the Netflix documentary "Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart" to reclaim ownership of her story and advocate for other survivors.

She views these projects as a way to take back power from their captors and use the money for therapy or to help other victims.
I have yet to see Asa or Victoria at any time advocate for the victims or their families. Especially after RH plead guilty.

She explicably said she needed to hear directly from him to believe he was responsible, often blaming the evidence as not definitive. Well, now she has heard it directly from him and his lawyers.

It's been almost 2 weeks since RH stated his guilt and Asa has never spoke up for the victims.

My sources are telling me that tomorrow’s expected change of plea by Rex Heuermann in the Long Island Serial Killer case may include an additional victim - extending his allocation to an 8th victim who has yet to be publicly linked to Rex Heuermann by the Gilgo Beach Task Force. Those details expect to be revealed *for the first time* in court tomorrow. Stay tuned.

No matter who it is will Tierney continue investigating RH for unsolved crimes and if his DNA gets a hit In CODIS or from another victim will Tierney still prosecute him?
I'm concerned that Teirney may have given RH a pass on any future crimes to get him to admit to whoever the 8th victim would be?

We have heard that Tierney is one tough determined prosecutor going after RH so hopefully not.

Tierney has expressed that prior homicide convictions can be used to prosecute once found.

My bet is while he previously paused new charges to manage "cumbersome" discovery requirements for the current trial, this guilty plea will resolve those procedural hurdles, potentially clearing the way for new prosecutions if DNA hits link Heuermann to further victims.

Since then nothing has been reported about about the NYC narc detective who she claimed was her boyfriend and took her and KV to Heuermans.
